No experience, but on paper your concept looks sound. Interested to hear how it performs.

Bumping for more exposure.

I'm attempting to color the plants in plant control set a dark grey (to represent metal) with blue haze/smoke. However, no matter if I set blue or grey to primary/secondary, I end up with blue tinted plants & haze. Is color customization bugged for plant control, or do the primary/secondary colors interact differently from other sets?

I made a water/therm corr. Didn't expect to like it (hate "healer" sets), but the theme just...fits! Made him as a former Outcast that once rivaled Frostfire, but couldn't hone his skills to the level Frostfire could.

Still working on a better story, but I think Aquafire could be a keeper. Kinda sad Aquaflare was taken.

I think the problem with petless MMs comes from the teaming aspect.

You will be a gimp. Your team is only as strong as the weakest link, and you will be that link. Any other AT will be a bigger help than you will be. In effect, you are doing nothing but soaking up XP while others around you do all the work. And when you die (and trust me, you WILL die. A lot.) you are slowing the team down while you eat awakens, wait for a rez, or run back from the hospital. You will be a social pariah, and cast out as a leper from more groups than groups that will accept you.

In short: If you want to try it, fine. Just don't PUG and get hurt when you are called an idiot, noob, or leach.

I know this has probably been asked about a million times, but upon trying to create a bots/* MM I enjoy playing, my mind keeps wandering back to radiation emission. My fire/rad controller was one of the most fun characters I've ever played. Not so much the fire control (though imps DO make me smile), as the radiation secondary. I love the PBAoE heal. I love AM (who doesn't?). Heck, I even love fallout. I just love radiation! I'm just not happy without it...

So that being said, what is keeping /rad from being a MM secondary choice?

Bumping this because I would like to hear more opinions. I'm debating between /storm and /dark as well.

I have lots of experience with /dark, not so much with /storm.

I have to say, this slotting is all wacky. Different strokes for different folks I know, but I think we can all agree a blaster slotting 6 recharge enhancements in all his blasts is gimp.

And suggesting NOT to take the 32 upgrade?!?! I don't know what to say... it increases all your henchmen's abilities.

So... has anyone gotten high enough to get the level 38 power (forgot name)? I'd love to see screen shots, along with reading a description of its "power up" animation.

Saw the AS animation for DM today.

I must say I LOVE it. While the crouching-tiger-taking-a-poop isn't cool, the skull flash is.

Suggestion: Change the animations for charged brawl and havoc punch!

CB: Give it the brawl animation, like the blaster version. Not fond of the jab animation

HP: either give it the current CB animation (jab), or an uppercut. Of the two, this could remain the same and I'd be happy. Overhead smash is nice, but it could be faster.

I'm going to suggest replacing the current version of Grounded with a dull pain type power, plus energy/neg energy resist (or even defense?)

+Max HP, Heal, +Defense(all)

Something, anything, just put a heal in!

I can't even load my Dominator into RV. I got her in once, then crashed out due to lag. Every time I try to log her in, I crash.

The graphics transition from villan to hero controlled appears to be bugged. Standing at City Hall when it was villan controlled, no Arachnos banners were present. As it faded from Villan to Hero, the banners appeared, then dissapeared. I also couldn't stand under Atlas (but may be due to REcluses's skirt).

I'm hoping for a level bump to test out Lightning Rod. Otherwise, I won't see it until I7 hits live.

Nope, I just don't have a good answer for you. I didn't design the Patron Powers, so I'm not 100% on the design philosophy used.

Also, I tend to not respond to "Why did you guys do XXXX?" PMs because it rarely does anything but get more "But why...." PMs. Perhaps that isn't fair, but I really cannot spend much time justifying things, especially when I'm not 100% conversant on the topic. I *do* read them, but rarely respond.

Mind you, they had sk'd him, teamed with him, took him to bricks, and then kicked and unsk'd him from team in the red area of bricks, IIRC.

I think it was something like he quit team, spawned Kronos or some other similar Giant Monster (back when they had levels... a lvl 50 GM!) and totally obliterated his former team.
