    Purple IOs

Does anybody know if there is any other Archtype build that is possible to fit EVERY single type of Purple IO into it?

I managed to get all 10 into a Eleci/Mental/Ice Blaster, I just wondered if anybody knows any other possible Archtypes you can do it with?

    Set Name
    Absolute Amazement - Stun
    Apocalypse - Ranged Damage
    Armageddon - PBAoE Damage
    Coercive Persuasion - Confuse
    Fortunata Hypnosis - Sleep
    Gravitational Anchor - Immobilize
    Hecatomb - Melee Damage
    Ragnarok - Targeted AoE Damage
    Soulbound Allegiance - Pet Damage
    Unbreakable Constraint - Hold

Obviously you may hit the cap on certain things, but that build can be sorted for the players liking.

    Union PVP

PvP is sooooooooooo dead atm!! Im lucky to see 2 villains in RV at same time nowadays & I thought i13 was bad but i14 just takes the pish!

Its got until mid May to pick up else my subs runs out & im gone!

Btw great idea MM add @Kareem
  5. Hi peeps, I have not long started to build my first Stalker for PvP purposes well my first Villain to be exact. And wondered if any of you experts out there could check out my build and give me some info and advice on what you think and what I need to change etc. It looked like he gets pretty knackerd quickly with their endurance usage pretty high. But im not sure if thats normal for a Stalker as they are mainly 'Hit n Run' anyhow?...

Basically, take it to pieces and gimmie a heads up - Cash is not a problem but I kept it semi realistic. And the slot order, well that can be squared away easily.

  8. Hey peeps,Imagine this you stroll down to RV looking for a duel and stood in front of you is a WP/SS 3220+Hp capped Tank that Regens over 550% without Rttc and has a 806hp Aid Self every 10 secs!

What ya gona do & how you gona beat it?

And do ya have to ask yourself one question, do ya feel lucky? Well do ya?....
  9. Kareem_EU

    Most inf!

I made over 300mil Inf last week - and now im back down to under 20mil. I have a bad habit of getting hooked on making the Inf then deciding on making another toon, getting it to 50 and blowing all that Inf on it.

Why keep it and save it up when you can just spend it and make a 'Real Hero/Villain' rather then just a platic SO enhanced hero/villain?
  10. If anyone can stop the Taliban from taking over the world its gota be CoX.

Cave mission maps from Cimerora and your normal CoT caves where peeps would be doing Kill alls, rescuing Prisoners of War and preventing bombings of office buildings. Before the final showdown, taking out Bin Laden and his crew of Kamikaze suicide bombers

when farmers aka pillboxs hunters r targetted

    [/ QUOTE ]

I tend not to give people stick anymore, just laugh at them and target them and kick their faces in for giving it me.

Dont get me wrong I have been a Pillbox farmer in the past to get me a few lvls now and then when its quiet. But despite me crying "please stop im farming" it hasnt stopped a stalker beating the c**p out of me with their AS. So I've kind of took it on the chin and done the same back at the villains farming pillboxes. And if they start giving me stick then im sure another Eagles Claw in the face wont hurt, just like another AS didnt hurt me.
  13. If im the tank I will normally check out the rest of the teams powers to see whether or not its worth herding.

Dont get me wrong I love to herd, it makes u being the tank feel like your doing a good job knowing a mob is following you to a soon be death.

But if my team is normally full of damage and the tactical situation is all good, then I will rush in and just stand there taunting whilst the rest clear up. If theres 2-3 blasters on the team who have nukes then its good to herd and let each one deliver their 'night night boom!'. As well as if the team is full of AoE or debuff then again herding is the way forward.

    Phase Shift

    [/ QUOTE ]

**Snap** I agree with Abbzy, on my scrapper I have every single one of these powers and I have found phase shift to be a god send. You will find me quite often on the Union server in RV on my MA/Regen Scrapper going toe 2 toe with Brutes, and giving as good as I get.

You dont need Aid self - With enough regen and with the right build Phase Shift and your other heals will be sufficient to keep you in the fight.

I have 808% Regeneration and go from zero to full health in less then 30 secs, so Phase fits in just nicely. I respec later this month and despite dropping to 790% Regeneration, I will earn 130Hp a sec from Instant Heal.

All I say is remember your a Regen toon, take advantage of your power in your build. Most of your secondarys contain the opportunity to slot them for heals. So taking Aid Self and the power before it will just be a waste of 2 powers IMO.
  15. One thing I did enjoy seeing last night in RV though was a duel between a Ill/FF Troller and a Eleci/SS Brute.

Fair one the Eleci Brute won but the duel lasted for about 15mins and for most of the fight the Brute was just standing there like a lost child taking 'Big Licks' as he couldnt even see the Troller with his Superior Invis. Funniest thing I've seen in ages.

a little addition to my post, Been in rv all night were there was 25 peeps for about 5 hours what a blast and not one person used insults all night we all had a awesome time killing each other and was a lot of respect going around, you all know who you were, thanks again guys for a great night of balls on fire PVP best night since I13

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah Cheers for last night peeps, had a great laugh. Can't wait to do it again. Best time I've had in there for months.
  17. Be prepared for your ups n downs thou. Some days the recipes you drop might make you wana shout out loud with happiness.
Other days you might get nout, but the guy who only joined 5mins ago might get a great drop. Like me who just spent the past 6 hours non stop farming and didnt drop one purple lol. What a joke! My purple recipe drought goes on - 4 months now without one. Have I been nerfed? lol
  18. Kareem_EU

    Flurry!

who gets jump kick any way these days?

Unless your a granite who wants laugh! :P
  19. Pity, just thought it would be a great idea to set up a Mini Tournament in RV between Heroes n Villains where its 5mil Inf to enter and winner takes all.

If draw ends up matching a Hero v Hero or Villain v Villain in some matches then they Arena themselves.

But spose that idea's out the window now...
  20. Is there a way within the options where it is possible to do a trade or transfer Inf between Heroes and Villains if both peeps have turned on this option to receive gifts etc?
  21. [ QUOTE ]
What would you guys say the very best solo farmer toon would be, on the blue side. Without any sets to start off with. By best I mean able to generate as much inf as possible in the shortest space of time avoiding death where possible.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Fire/Kin - Hands down, and to be the best at solo farming is easy. Just follow 3 simple rules:-

    Study, Practice and Repeat.
  22. Kareem_EU

    Flurry!

Is Flurry bugged in Mids atm or is the increase in damage for real?

I just got 806 dmg on flurry from a WP/SS tank whilst running Rage and with a rech of less then 2 secs. That means I could prob kill someone in less then 10 secs lmao!
  23. Hi Peeps, Im about to roll a WP/SS Tank for PvP purposes, and I wana know what in the WP build is needed for PvP and what you can do with leaving out - EG Is Rise to the Challenge needed?

Also is Strength of Will needed and is it similar to the Inv Unstoppable where after so many minutes it leaves you with no Endurance at all?
  24. [ QUOTE ]
Regen's get by ok now. I would say take phase though.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah defo take phase as like Charnell says. I think its a life saver. Though be aware if you do take it you can get alot of "Haters" from Villains cos they spend all that time getting your health down to nearly zero, only for you to phase and when you come out 30secs later your full health n endurance again.

playing those characters fully slotted with Set IO's, there is a major difference( atleast on my builds), it also depends what you investing in, are you going for +Defense stats, +Recharge, +Regen or whatever +.., it makes a big difference, i would for no gold go back to playing my Characters with just normal IO's after i saw what a fully slotted with sets can do.
i have much more fun with me SHields/ice tanker, WM/Shields ,FIre/Wp brute , the difference is imense

    [/ QUOTE ]

Defo I agree with MasTa_X - With sets I have a Inv/SS tank that is 90% res to S/L so he is like a granite on ITF's. With normal SO's I prob wouldnt be able to take as much damage as I do and prob end up dying more.
