Sitting on, none really. I have a whoooole bunch of characters whose concepts I love, but simply don't have enough time in the whatever to play them, so most are between about 17 and 28 and I keep saying I'll get back to them someday (Nocturnelle, India Ink, Psiamese, Wirewolf) and a few whose time has passed, whose SGmates/partners have left the game years ago but I can't quite yet make myself delete(Blaize, Ashe Phoenix)

Whatever has been stuck in my head all day, or I plan to subject people to that week :7

Never really thought of that myself, but likely because I consider my characters to all have a little part of me in them. I would be overly critical of someone essentially costuming to be 'me' even if they asked and would likely just end up making them pissed off at me. That said I believe the actual cosplay wouldn't run afoul of anything with some photos, but actual studio-like photo shoots/prints might.

I'm always game to start conversation when I'm just hanging around, but I don't belong to any organized active SG, sorry. Mostly I just have a global list of friends and a server list of interesting characters I've run across.

Well...it likely won't help your current situation, but always check a name is still free by looking for it on a different server, chances are it won't be taken on all and if it is blocked it will say not available and you'll know before you reroll. Not that I'm sure what you'd do with the placeholders then though.

Modding is not something MMOs support outside of UI design, due to the client/server model of the game assets. If you are looking for tangible things you can make and show the college you are much better off with stand alone games, or things like Little Big Planet where you can do some quasi-level design.

So am I the only one that expected when I was given the choice to use the WoW, sorry, 'new' Team UI or the classic team UI that using the 'old' version would actually be the same thing I've always had? Was it that much of a problem to leave it alone? The new 'classic' verison has smaller bars, different text, and a slightly different layout.

While I understand its apparently the decision of the Dev team to try and force the WoW raiding paradigm on us as a poor excuse for endgame, I can ignore that. If you're going to give me the option of using a 'classic' version of something you change though, please try to actually mean it and leave the old version alone. It worked just fine and didn't need any fixing.
