    PvP whiners

    As -obot has said in another thread, the missions are mostly done by people who have no interest in PvP and are there only to farm the missions. They have a direct effect on PvP, so yes i agree that its a bit unfair.

    P.S. I have noting against people doing the missions in the zones, it's the fault of the devs for letting the missions affect PvP.
  2. If there was a bug it isnt there now. As i said i have no problems with cone range powers hitting, although i dont think i played my dark def or corr when the bug was around, have really only took them into sirens over the past few weeks.

    Neither can be compared against the other they are a combination of both as raven has said. They have to be considered as a completely different class
  7. Hmm i concur. Without 2 Acc slotted you aint really gonna hit alot in pvp. It isn't down to cone range powers, its down to how you have them slotted

    PS - My Dar/Dark Defemder does just fine in pvp in teams, i wouldnt expect him to do well solo, just as i wouldnt expect my dark/dark corrupter to do ewll solo

    I do not have a problem when doing solo missions. I do them on the lowest difficulty, thus I never face more than one liutaenant. As you said, they do not have those auras on before an attack, so it's possible to take 'em down.

    My grudge is when I team up with someone. One more person in a team means I will need to face bosses. And it's not possible to "scrape" a boss when he's at 100% HP. Heck, I have trouble finishing them off when they're after an AS. But what's worse, is that those aura using enemies show up in twos of threes. Placate doesn't work really... as mobs tend to see right through hide and keep on shooting... and even though my stalker's hard to hit, they DO hit me... being quite a lot of them.

    I don't know... perhaps I'm doing something wrong. But even here, on the forums, people stated that a stalker in a team can only hide, AS, run and repeat. And this get's even harder with those auras. Sometimes in a team I feel completely, utterly useless.

    Well, at least please fix the healing/endurance recovery crystals in CoT missions... I'd really like to see an explenation how THOSE prevent me from doing an AS.

    I'm sorry but i feel this should be the last post i make on this thread after reading that post.

    You want it easy against bosses? I'm sure the rest of the player base has grudges against bosses also, but i very much doubt they want it easy against them. Other than Bosses and higher the game can get very repetitive and baring. You want bosses to be as easy as minions? It aint going to happen.
    On my stalker i find bosses VERY easy, this is because of power choices i have made for pvp, ie placate caltrops build up etc (which as i have seen are essencial for pve also). Elite bosses i find VREY hard, but not impossible.

    I suggest you look at you play style and power choices before saying such as you have.

  9. Well then, i've no idea why you think it such a game breaking thing. And yes i stand by saying its rare. I didnt have any problems with this on my stalker. And those "crazy teleporting tsoo" are called Sorcerors, havent you met enough of them to remember their names?

    And yes knockback auras will interrupt AS, but i haven came across a knockback aura on a mob that i can think of other than hurricane that sorcerors have. Unless of course you are talking about repel etc in pvp? oh no thats right u arent talking about pvp.

The spell, if it hits me, will interrupt an AS, sniper shot, or any other interruptable power.     The same however, cannot be said for an aura that deals NO damage. You get a debuff, but even though you're already affected by it, you still can't cast that interruptable spell.

    Soo in other words your talking about an aura that deals no damage but debuffs, and does it's 'hits' continuously what with it being an aura and all?

    I still dont see the problem, very rarely are you going to come across this in pvp or in pve. Everything should have its weaknesses including AS.

    Why shouldnt people one on one in pvp zones? Sure there are going to be people who come and interrupt from time to time, but the majority will let the one on one alone when they know it is happening. And anyone who doesnt leave it alone? Well, then that when you forget the one on one and turn the tables

    Makes complete sense for me that things that are 'hitting' you interrupt AS.
  13. Hmm this seems a bit unfair on the villain side when u think of it. Not one AT gets the boost available to some AT's on CoH from the leadership, perhaps a tweak is in order?

    Oh and for clarification, i know that end red dont help against end drain, but they certainly help me regain it to get back quickly with AS.

    fyi there are a few end drain powers used not just 'the big one' whatever that may be
  15. Personally i couldnt do without shadow maul, the animation may be long but it does very good damage.

    I wouldnt recomend having all thos recharges in the attacks, the DM set has inherently low accuracy and without accuracy enhancements you will miss a lot with that build ESPECIALLY if you want to PvP. I would go for more something of 2 ACC, 3 Damage and either a recharge or end reduction in the last slot. Although i personally have 2 Acc and 4 damage as i dont need the recharge to keep my attack cycle going and i dont need the saving on endurance with having both QR and stamina 3 slotted. I havent had focused accuracy on mine for a while, but i still think that even with that you would suffer without having 1 Acc at least slotted in powers, but up until you are in the 40's and can get that power i'd advise the 2 Acc. Same applies with soul drain and dark consumption, can be very frustrating to have an end gain power and it not to hit.

    Touch of fear i'd avise getting much earlier than 49 and also slotting it a lot more. I currently have 2 Acc, 3 ToHit debuffs and 1 fear dur on mine and it works a treat. Slotted for ToHit debuffs makes this power a very powerful tool.

    Instant healing i have slotted 3 recharge and 3 heal.

    (just noticed you said its a respec build hence the strange order of power choices )

  19. I have no idea what the tohit debuff figures are for touch of fear, but with 3 tohit debuffs in it your opponent can very rarely land a hit. Iirc the debuff from the rest of the set id only something like 5%.

    By the same definition my Empath must be over powered. With good target choices i can easily increase my reputation also. My Empath is Empathy/Psi and is now built specifically for PvP just like my Stalker is built for PvP. On either toon if i only target squishies i get easy kills.

    Quick... nerf Empaths... no wait... they already did
  24. I tend to slot 2 Acc in all my attacks now since Ed. You ask what tp is the best, not sure what you mean there. If you mean is TP better than team TP then yes take TP.
    Some would argue that you dont need Stamina on a Stalker, but i find it invaluable in both PvE and PvP.
