  1. I feel peacebringers are a bit more survivable on their own thou than warshades. As a peacebringer u have 3 heals that u can use just from ur primary and secondary counting the one in [White Dwarf] and that helps me fighting tougher single NPCs. Where the warshade needs a couple to a few dead or alive NPCs to surpass the peacebringer in survivability. Kinda like the peacebringer has a bit of Regen feel. I play a peacebringer pretty much exclusively so I am biased. Also not much has changed in those guides.

The Circle of Thorns are still trying to get a complete version of the Malleus Mundi, if that happens they can control all of reality as I mentioned earlier in the thread.

They land on a world and they devour it, and they cannot be stopped, as I understand it. You can kill the creatures, but the energy which creates them will just find another host.
I've read that too in one of the plaques, badges or from one of the scientist in Bloody Bay I think. The astronomer that first observed them was Indian and thats the combination with devourer of worlds thing to Shivan.
  4. This is about the only thing I have a screenshot of that is descent enough to brag about(although it doesnt show much). It was my first Statesman Task Force back in JAN10 and the tank crashed or DCed or something and left me as the only tank-like person. I jumped in Dwarf and tanked the first 3 then Ghost Widow. And it was a successful Master of run on my first time. Not that big of a deal maybe but I was proud. Memory is a bit hazy with the details thou, but the tank may have came back for Recluse.

EDIT: It was an in between costumes non-cape version of Hero Alpha's costume too, forget that part hehe.

  5. I love the Voids. The fun ones are really only red or purple bosses and sometimes Lt's. Feels special to have people hunting u specifically when ur on a team all the time. Picking u out of the crowd for a reason. With the shadow cysts and long as the team listens when one pops up and let me go in first we have no problems. Just eat a couple purples and jump in Dwarf and dive right in the middle of that sucker and pound it out. Make sure to get back as its defeated cause it goes big boom. I'd be glad to help u out with any questions about peacebringers. Oh and I is powerful.

    EDIT: added the Dwarf part.

And there you go. Basically no point in arguing any more.
  7. One very simple reason I dont like trainers being tailors is that there is way too many buildings u cant go in. The one of few u can, now u dont have too. Before anyone mentions about the cape and aura missions we can just voucher those now. I just like having more places to go, different reasons to go there and inside of buildings inside of zones is a different place. This is just a bad way to start.
  8. I think its pretty lame and not needed. If they put an Icon in Atlas then new players can go there. If they cant wait to walk 1/5 across a zone then may as well do /tailor. Makes no sense to even have Icons with this. I feel there suppose to be reasons to go around to different parts of zones or different zones, but I guess all u need is Miss Liberty and the AE building.
  9. Well reading the thread I've got a few wild ideas with kheldians. That maybe Silos used the kheldians himself to prolong his life and not the Battalion. Or that Twilight's Son's host is Ubelmann the Unknown and Twilight's Son healed him. Then later they were separated and Ulbelmann is the letter writer trying to change things. Possibly Requiem was trying to kickstart the path of the dark to make more khelds to power whatever Battalion or Silos and sell out the Nictus/khelds himself. All this talk of our chars being the letter writer maybe Twilight's Son is future me as Hero Alpha(joking of course). Like I said, just some random ideas.
  10. I have seen this alot as well. All the itrials are fun and I enjoy doing them all but usually only get a chance to do BAF. Main reason I cant get in on a Keyes is like you said, no one wants to run it. I dont mind I find it really fun, but have only done 6 and tanked Anti on 4 of those. Took me till the 6th try to not fail thou lol. We got the last Anti fight and people couldnt stay outta the green and then no one would heal up the disintegrating people. I admit that after finally finishing Keyes and getting the badge I have slacked off on trying to get in on any more. If they came up I would thou.

Lambda is a different story altogether. I think it may be my favorite itrial so far but, almost everytime I do one I crash at least once during it. I've tried everything I can think of on all graphic settings and still crash. This is the only time I crash in-game, well not the only time, very rarely I will get the "ran out of memory" thing outside of itrials (and I have plenty). So these things lead me to basically only doing BAFs. Hopefully the Underground itrial will turn out to be very fun and challenging but easy enough so everyone wont avoid it. Maybe something can be done to get more people into Keyes in the future.
  11. After just finally doing the Jenni Adair arc and reading that letter and taking into account all the other letters. Plus the books and clickies in the Midnight Squad it is the Dream Doctor.

EDIT: And it looks like I'm about 45mins too slow now that I read. That will teach me to refresh the page before posting.

EDIT: Also the The Legend of Ruladak souvenir from Sara Moore task force talks of a joining of forces with Nemesis and Rularru. They could have actually done this in some future of Mender Silos and the Dream Doctor is trying to stop them. Or as I mentioned earlier an aspect of Rularru helping him like Faathim,
  12. Could be an aspect of Rularru or better yet Rularru himself writing the letters. He is trying to stop Silos and break free of the Shadow Shard. Giving the Midnighters a pillar to pit them against each other until he can claim the Malleus Mundi to basically control reality and stop anyone from binding him again. Which ties in the Circle of Thorns and Nemisis' presence in the Shadow Shard, or something like that.
  13. Giving [White Dwarf] psi resists is one of the best reasons I have seen here to make it feel important with the changes to [Light Form], which I like alot even thou I'm still coming to terms with having that much mez protection in human. I have typed this so many times but guess I will again: Please dont take away all of my peacebringers KB. Yes [Solar Flare] should be changed to KD or even KU but the rest if fine. Also if we could just get the devs to come around on making [Incandescent Stike] and [Pulsar] both be stun and maby take the activation time of the latter down, it would help alot. Oh, and also maby use the new flight powers animation with the added form light blast to shorten form change times would be sweet.
  14. I like the direction the lore is going and has been. I guess lore is the very reason I started playing CoH. I picked up issue 18 and 19 when they were new at my comic shop and got interested even more when I found out it was a MMO. After I started playing I got all the comics and 2 novels. I like the characters and the way the players make up stories to fit in with the CoH world. I was sad to see the comics go as I was only subbed for the last 2 issues. Hopefully they will start again with digital issues at least after Freedom. I like the story arcs and reading the description on all the souvenirs, badges and even have collected all but 3 or 4 of the base salvage just to read them. I tried playing DCUO and the story/lore of CoH is way better dare I say hehe, but thats coming from a Marvel fan.
  15. I really dont know what to say except thanks devs these changes are awesome. I really like the hand clap animation and [Inner Light] is super sweet. I guess that the foot stomp could be an alternate animation at sometime thou. I just have to change some slots around now that [Light Form] is worth it. Now just change [Solar Flare] to KD or KU and make [Pulsar] and [Incandescent Strike] both the same kinda mez.
  16. Well, their better than the first re-vamp, but not near as cool as the original. They could still be toned down alot. The minions should still just be in plainer brown robes but the bosses look pretty sweet.
  17. Looks very nice to me. They do listen some.

I agree obliteration beam should be more visible or visiblier or something, more visible just sounds wrong for some reason. Now I have looked and said visible so much it doesnt look right lol. Anyway what I have found is that zooming out helps alot with being able to see the obliteration beam.
  19. I like the Keyes itrial but have never successfully completed one in my 4 tries. I would love to just finish one. First time I was put on the bunker doors, didnt really know what I was doing but it worked out fine and had we had no problems until the end fight, then fail. 2nd time no problem until the end then people started quiting then fail on end fight. Last two times I tanked Anti around the reactors, no problems until the end fight, again both times fail fighting Anti. I dont know why people are just falling apart there. This was all on my peacebringer as well.
  20. Let's just leave them as they are, it can only get worse from the new CoT's.

I'll be honest, if the Phalanx graced the cover of a comic when I was collecting there is no way I'd buy it. This game is full of really not so cool looking NPCs which is a shame considering the awesome character creator.
I really like the look of most all the signature chars and actually did start playing the game after seeing issue 18 and 19 at my comic shop and buying them. Was very happy to have a comic superhero MMO to play with its own comic, which ended with issue 20 lol. It was a good month and a half run for me.
  22. Since this has kinda turned into a "what if?" thread I just wanted to add that if the Freedom Phalanx/signature chars are updated that its remembered most of them are comic book superheroes in spandex and or capes types. Just to keep that look were appropriate.

EDIT: Not that everything needs spandex like the "new" CoT stuff.
  23. I also have to throw in Dark Watcher, Serpent Drummer and Black Scorpion along with my earlier post. What you see is what you get there.
  24. My favorite signatures are Statesman, Hero 1/Honoree (both looks), Positron, Ms. Liberty, War Witch and Manticore. Out of the villians I like the look of Requiem, Rularuu, Reichsman and Recluse hehe 4 R's. Also Doc Buzzsaw, Sister Airlia and Ice Mistral.

    EDIT: I like Statesman's mask.
  25. A praetorian EAT based around the Devouring Earth would be sweet. I've seen people post about humans infused with the power of Hamidon or just some kinda DE "creature".
