Right. I've had Hall of Fame back for the last few days, so I was able to make another arc (a fourth) and put it up to see what would happen.

It went up. It stayed up.

Then I lost Hall of Fame.

It is still up, but I cannot edit it. Which is not great, because it has a couple of text errors I would like to fix.

Anyway, for those wondering, this is how the exciting fourth slot works (i.e., poorly).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ugh. That would drive me nuts, being unable to edit for typos.

Is it common to get bad ratings without feedback?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I would say it's normal.

As for the comment about being happy with a 4 star rating, I agree. It means a good, solid arc.
  3. QR

It was pretty funny as I was playing just now, so could watch what was happening with MA tickets.

One of my arcs hit 5 stars for the first time in about a week.

    I then saw a 3, 2 4's and a 2 or less come in.

There went the 5 star rating.

I congratulate anyone who can maintain a 5 star rating. You clearly are doing something right.
  4. This is a really good mission.

I especially like the look and bio of the Hero leader.

    Great work!
  5. I haven't gotten much feedback on my bank mission, but the feedback on my Spiderling mission has been great! I've made the Spiderlings more individualistic based on feedback. Never would have thought of it without that feedback.

If making feedback anonymous would get me more, than I would be OK with that.

Was looking for this thread and just noticed it got stickied, cool!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ex was nice enough to do that.
  7. Some really great posts in this thread.
  8. Isn't the Magi vault actually in Galaxy?

    Nobody blames Gregor though.
  9. This really is a great place to start for level arcs.

Arc 1472 - Hearts on Fire
    Rating: *****

First and foremost, I did this arc on a non-50, non-purpled brute. If I was in the 10-15 range, though, I'd have done it for the XP, not just for the sake of reviewing. Why? Because it's a bloody good arc.

If any arc was made canon, I would want it to be this one.
  11. $name.

There is one for supergroups also. The AE instructors have a Tips and Tricks section.

I made one called "Go Kill Skulz"

It is meant to be an alternative to doing a sewer run to lvl up your shiney new hero.

5 mission arc should get you to lvl 6-8, just in time to go to Kings Row and get your Rocket Pack

Each mission has a different Enemey group, but there is a Skull group in each to fight, such as a Patrol, ambush, battle and a boss.

So hopefully when you show up in Atlas you can announce ""Go Kill Skulz team LFM"
get a team together and level up the lowies a new way.

The advantage is you can hop over and lvl up between mission much easier than fighting for 6 levels with your lvl 1 attack only.

Also you can go up the diff level between missions if your team is Uber (I hate running around sewer trying to find the lvl 7-8 enemy)

Trips back from the hosp will be quicker too

You could aways do the Atlas contact missions, but they have you traveling all over the map with no travel powers

    [/ QUOTE ]

I noticed that there are two versions of this published.

Also, someone made Go. Hunt. Save Skulz. Haven't tried that one out yet.

As much as self-promotion makes my skin crawl, you might want to try my arc #1472, Hearts on Fire. I actually got feedback from a level 4 Stalker complimenting me on how well balanced it was, which was probably the most valued feedback I've gotten so far.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    It really is very good.
  14. Heh- sensible post by Morgenstern.

I would request you try my Spiderling arc. It's fluff, but I think it is cute fluff. My other arc is iffy for solo.

That's a really cool idea! I know my nephew would LOVE something like that.

How long until someone takes this a step further and puts a marriage proposal in the MA?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    that's a reallllly good idea.

I know that both of my (short, admittedly) arcs were made for my spouse.
  16. I'll suggest my own Save the Spiderlings mission.

Any character should be able to complete it. I would say even at lvl 1 - though I didnt' test that....Hmm...should do that.
  17. I have to agree. I haven't even posted any arcs yet, but sending a tell on feedback really creeped me...

So was the first computer version on Tape Cassette or floppy disc?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think the first game I ever got for my C64 was Battle of Midway - it was on a tape. Each Japanese TF was represented by a J - I loved that game!

Took about 15 minutes to load.

So how should you slot MOG? 3 Recharge or slot for +def??

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm not an expert by any means, but I would go with recharge of those two options.
  20. Great post.

This is why I hated Zork.

If anyone wants to help out with testing the Mission Architect tooling I'm working on at the moment send me a PM ... more details here

    Happy B-Day!

Thanks for all you have done for the community.
  22. I keep hoping that fly poses get added as an option to the Fly power...
  23. Thanks for continuing to post. I know I would have given up a long time ago.
