Is there a way to do this without purples? Has anyone made a build they could share? I got a new 50 out of the double xp weekend I would like to beef up so I can enjoy incarnate content.

Yeah it is annoying. They did figure out how to cause heals to still work on dying enemies in the Kinetic set after years went by, so hopefully sometime down the road they will do the same with Haunt.

The Recon3D is still a fairly new card also. I wouldn't hold my breath on Creative drivers though...
I was tempted to buy one until I found out that it is a software card unlike the X-Fi series... ugh. Creative, what have you done? -

Quote:Yeah, it's a blast. I went with Ice Melee to be a little different but yeah, the damage is weak as heck even though it has nice mitigation. Stone or Dark would have probably been a little better....and if I ever want to build a Tanker and take it into iTrials it's almost certainly going to be SR, especially after the i24 IO resist changes.
In fact the only thing stopping me from making a SR/DM Tanker is the amount of fun I'm having on my recently-50 StJ/Nin Stalker and limited playtime. -

Quote:What would you change? Have you mentioned it in the feedback thread? Have you discussed it with Hawk & Synapse? etcNA brings nothing but green number spam and mediocre buffs on long cooldowns to a team. Make it a concept toon if you plan on keeping it. Your concept will dictate the archetype.
If you're looking for something that plays like nature without being bad, roll thermal instead. If you're looking for something that solos well, brute.
If you're banking on nature being buffed eventually, I'd lean toward nature/rad defender if you can't do IOs, rad/nature corruptor if you can. Defender's in a better position to shut down enemies with -tohit, +defense, and +resist powers without IOs. Corruptor makes up the difference with IOs plus gets crits and no teaming penalty. -
Probably sonic resonance, or if you want something unique, have a Arachnos Widow keep all the toggles maxed out and have her follow you.

Quote:Yeah - I immediately rolled a SR tanker when it hit and loved every minute of it. I hardly had to do anything to become softcapped to incarnate-level content and you have huge DDR. Sure, the very rare occasion you do get hit, you get hit hard, but there are ways to alleviate that. I went with Rebirth/Nerve/Longbow helper/Cognitive to help me out even more. He's ridiculously tough.(I will say that my SR/ tank is one of my most reliable survivors and I generally run - +1 or +2/X8 with bosses. And the coming new IO set changes are just going to extend some layering options. So there really shouldn't be any great concern over lasting through fights. No set is really 'poor', and it really is only min/max approach that looks to any options as superior.)

Wow - it never made it into beta so I haven't seen this before - although I did see the video that was just linked.

Yeah definitely. Funny thing is I still have those characters after all these years. 'Dr Energy' was my first level 50 - an Emp/Rad.

Herding entire zones and nuking them

Quote:It's coming next week Tuesday! So, what was the point of the article about Nature Affinity if we're not getting Nature Affinity?
Nope - Nature Affinity is first. I bet Bio Armor will be another month, and I'm fine with that. -
*You are addicted to asterisks.

How about an early character select screen - it used to show origins and you could only have 8 per server back then. This was from my wife's account:

Quote:He asked for it... wait whatHell, you dropped the beans about [redacted]! I'm pretty sure Positron won't be pleased about that. Nor when you said how [censored] would [removed], and that [deleted] [expunged] [erase]! How'd you think that'd be let through!
Plus you said Positron was a [eradicate]. Not cool, dude, not cool!

Kinda bummed the mods deleted my threads regarding new rumored sets that included this one linking to my newest video. Naturally I am a little concerned that psy melee might have a rough time of things in the end game due to frequent massive psy resists, which might match how lethal damage does in similar situations.

Hopefully someone takes note that sound is an incredibly important detail when it comes to gaming immersion.

I run both - in fact, I run all toggles except the stealth, plus Tough and Combat Jumping, with Stone Melee. It took awhile to get my endurance under control but now I never run low on end.
