    Duck Melee

    Obligatory.

EDIT: holy cow that video is nearing 100 million views?!
  2. Yeah I guess the resistance is just average from Wild Growth but stacking 200% regen is fairly nice once slotted for that.

    Yeah, I liked that too.

...it's actually not, unless you are talking about spamming Regrowth. It has two toggle powers and a few long recharge buffs. It's not like Time in that way.
  5. How should it be slotted? 3 heal/3 resist, or 3 recharge/3 resist? etc.

Also, I kinda think slotting end mod in Lifegiving might be worthless, as even if doubled it's only like 2 endurance every 4 seconds or something, right? etc
  6. How are you guys/gals going to slot Wild Growth? I honestly can't decide if I should go 3 resist/3 heal or 3 recharge/3 resist. Unless Mids is wrong, Wild Bastion doesn't get increases to Absorption with slotted heals - only the HOT seems to be affected.

I would hit Synapse with this info again just in case - I was hoping the end boost would be higher too but he seemed to want to buff just the healing strength when all those changes hit.

That +tohit makes no sense to me. I get the damage but even that is questionable - due to lower damage base and lower caps, why should this be true? I assume this doesn't carry over to +tohit and +damage buffs to allies, but still, it's something to think about.

So is everyone else in comparison, so yeah, their performance will stay the same when comparing to other combos. I'm talking about how all the pseudo pet attacks will finally have correct AT numbers assigned to them, instead of everyone getting blaster versions.
  10. I honestly cannot decide what kind of character I am going to make tomorrow. Throughout my CoH career, Defenders were my favorite archetype... but lately I've been having a harder time justifying having the best buffs in the game for such weak damage... and it's only going to get worse with issue 24.

I never picked up Beast Mastery but obviously there is some decent synergy there in both mechanics and theme.
  11. Do you have any that you have uploaded?
  12. Cool. Maybe I will stay where I am at - I have Conserve Power 6 slotted for i24 and I have one acc only in Dehydrate. Thanks for all your help!
  13. Yeah, I remember Adrenaline Boost being complete garbage for quite awhile too.
  14. More like an i24 build. Currently I sit at 37%~ ranged def with 20 something s/l resist. The market has been a nightmare since double xp weekend but I can be patient.
  15. It wasn't long ago where someone pointed out how this isn't even close: corruptor will always be best with this combo. Defender's got weakened versions of fire blast on top of their archetype difference, for example.

Personally, I'd rather skip Hydro Blast, which deals less damage and has worse DPA anyway.

Tough + Charged Armor, slotted properly, can get you 45-50% S/L and ~30% energy resistance, which makes a pretty big difference, especially since you have minimal defense against anything that happens to get into melee range.

I definitely agree about not skipping Steam Spray. It is an excellent power.
Energize grants a heal when you hit it, then grants regen on top of it... at least, according to Hawk.

...but yeah, no one should skip Steam Spray - it's one of the best attacks in all of Water Blast.

What would you do with the build to fit in Steam Spray?
  17. Sooo weird, I am building almost the exact same PC as you. I have to wait out the weekend to get my case and keyboard but this is what I will have:

    Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core
Cooler Master HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
ASUS P8Z77-V LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC256B/WW 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
    Western Digital VelociRaptor WD1000DHTZ 1TB 10000 RPM
    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
    CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W
    EVGA Superclocked, Signature 2 02G-P4-2687-KR GeForce GTX 680 2GB
    Logitech G9x Laser Mouse
    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
    LITE-ON H/H Internal BD Writer
    Cyborg V.7 Keyboard

I can't wait to start making videos on this thing.
  18. Yeah that's what I thought. Maybe Hejtmane thought SR was typed defense.
  19. Steam Spray is a must have in Water Blast - it does fantastic damage, in fact, I think it's one of the best blast cones out there. It does nearly the damage of Rain of Fire within no time.

I like how this looks - I think I will end up 6 slotting Conserve Power though for the issue 24 sustain abilities. Conserve Power (renamed Energize) will be perma with 3 recharge and you can slot it for heal.

The Kismet could be replaced with a LOTG Rech, since there is no snipe to think about, and all the Thunderstrikes and Posi sets will buff acc nicely.

Would it be easier to grab Scorpion Shield and drop slotting Tough and taking Charged Armor? I tried messing with it a little but without going with the full Mako sets + Tough I end up somewhere around 35%.

EDIT: oh, scorpion shield doesn't grant ranged unless you are pvp :P
EDIT 2: I suppose dropping Dehydrate would be the way to go, considering how Energize will help out in the healing department. I could steal slots from Health and Stamina and just slot those with vanilla IOs.
  20. Psy hole? It's not typed defense. I don't recall having an issue with psy damage.
  21. Entangling Aura. Lifegiving Spores actually costs nothing if you stand in it, from what I understand, so I'm taking it - it's a constant heal patch that grants end to your teammates. I just wish it ticked faster, that's all, but no way am I skipping it.
