I find it's a pseudo-subtle way to remind folk that you just killed them. Over broadcast. Where everyone else can hear.

This normally prompts some white-hot, white noise in return from the sort of people who bandy about the "n00b" word.

The drone is useful for spotting stalkers, yes, especially if you can afford to run tactics too, or drag someone else about that is.

I know of one nasty /Dev who drags an Empath around with her everywhere. Flight + Stealth + TD + Clear Mind and suddenly the stalkers are the ones being stalked.

I had a /Dev for a while, designed specifically as a stalker hunter and to be honest, the most useful trick I ended up with was dropping caltrops in water where they can't be seen and standing on them.

Any hidden foe sneaking up to AS me is suddenly revealed and hops about holding their feet while you and your friends, umm, kill them.

Yes, please come to Bloody Bay on Union and do hero-side missions.

For anyone who missed it, there is a, (if you'll excuse me), pretty bloody fantastic base thread right here on the European forums too.

It's packed with ideas on how to improve bases and what's wrong with the current system and it wouldn't hurt to keep it in the forefront of the forum there by adding ideas to it - if we keep poking the base problems in Statesman's eye, then he might finally blink and do something about it.

If any RPers want to come to Bloody Bay, I'm sure they'll be quite safe, PVP flags or not.

Broadcast is getting less and less enjoyable in PvP now, not because of insults or anything particularly bad, (although there was another clown in Sirens last night telling people to turn on the filter if they didn't like his language... genius), but just for the amount of nonsense that goes on.

The signal to noise ratio on /b is very poor. Even if you wanted to trashtalk, it would be difficult amid all the idiocy floating around.

No one dies because they were outplayed anymore, it seems.

I followed Warhed's example, (after a quick PM chat with him - thanks Warhed) and with the help of a good in game friend, got all my alts into one SG.

I now have a base, with an enhancement table and that's all that's in there. It's not very exciting but I can use it to pass hand-me-down enhancements to my lower ALTs and I have enough prestige to pay the rent for 10 months without killing another NPC.

It probably comes from the fact that BB is crawling in AI jelly, all of which does give debt.

Debt is part of life in PvP. I tell people who complain about debt in PvP to write to the Devs, as it's their idea, not mine.

I used to do community service in the Hollows all the time. But my Empath has only come out for a Hami raid, since I hit 50.

I may have killed DemonD, but I'm sure she'll tell you my good side offered her advice, help and, more importantly, INF for costume changes!

A void at level four is very evil indeed.

I don't use the Starless Step > Gravity Well for my voids anymore. Instead I cloak+SS to get in close, line up the group and hit them with Gravitic Emanation. I've slotted it for disorient duration, which means I can then usually go in and mire, pop into Nova and sit there untouched and blast away.

Crystals still make me cry though.
