    Its old to me,

I own the movie, I know when it came out, but if its past 5yrs for me, I consider it old. That is just my opinion.

    Dual Gun

Old movie & yes since that movie came out, many people wanted that set. Though it was bemoaned Scrappers should have it.

If you watch the animations from Hero Con, you'll notice some nods towards that movie.

  3. What they should do, to be honest.

To rectify a situation to many of the complaint, is create a an All Hallow's Eve like zone, that only opens up during the event. Make it so any level can get in it & both sides(Red & Blue), then make the ToT Mobs have GMs status in their code,(Im not sure if GM status gives more XP?, if so they could reduce it) so doesn't matter who clicks the door, everyone going get XP & make fair fight for all levels.

Have this zone spawn the Banner Events at proper timed intervals, this will allow folks to still ToT, while others can do the Zone event. As for Zombie Apoc, have it spawn back in the normal zones on the off times the Banner Events are NOT going on. Make this zone big enough to allow folks able to camp 1 or 2 doors, without angry from folks.

As for Jack & E. Have 4 specific spots they could spawn(2 apiece) in that zone, build stuff around it to make befitting of them spawning there. You can even toss in some random wandering mobs(GM lvl for coding) so folks could all participate in killing them, Like the Unseelies or a Vampires, etc..

Bunch of random House or Cottages, Graveyards with Mausoleums, scary old shacks in woods, stuff like that. Should provide a really good feel for the event & help alleviate many of the complaints, they could even run the event longer, folks wont notice, unless they are in said zone anyways.

    That is just my Idea

  5. The one that produced 5000 Power, aint working!

It was working, then I added a Crystal of Fire & Ice to base, noticed I had no power, so I took it out & still no power to base period!

So I go look at the Generator, the Generator is acting like it Needs Power!

    Anyone else having this problem?

  6. Longbow are taking the pages out of Arachnos play book.

Establish a base of operations in your "enemies" backyard to continually harass them. I mean look at the other side of the damn in Faultline. Those Arachnos shouldn't be there, let alone the Sky Raiders.

So they are "rogues" in term & are fighting the "good" fight as seen through the eyes of Miss Liberty, themselves & whoever else eats up there rhetoric.

In Guassian's arc in RWZ, you come to see the Longbow a tad overzealous & feel like they are the LAW! but if they are "unsanctioned", they should not be involved in taking care of the Rogue Vanguard members, as Vanguard is sanctioned! They can contract out Heroes & Villains to handle issues in the RWZ.

  7. This a build, I built for a friend, he's doing pretty darn good with it. Teamed with my Plant/Stone & a friend's Fire/Stone, we are a scary Trio.

  9. Top notch as in what?

Recipes? You can get those on lvl 47+ Mobs for Purples & whatever. You want merits to gamble with? Again you can flag yourself for TF/SFs.

Raiding? Only raiding out there is Hamidon & Rikti Mothership, people do those for Merits(Hamidon) & Vanguard Merits(RMS), The VGMs are use for Costume pieces & some odd tidbits.

    Specifics man, specifics.

  10. Personally Smurch, Im normally on same page with yah, in ideas & thoughts when you post.

But to be honest, Im tired of Nemesis too, don't get me wrong he is a great Classic Villain, but I am also very tired of him & his faction(Very Very Tired).

Lord Recluse is also dead in Praetoria, which I am tad sad about, I really wanted to see Arachnos move foward more in our world & more story on Recluse & possibly him finally kicking the living snot out of Statesjerk & set up catalyst for other heroes to be involved in the forefront. Sorta Superman vs Doomsday, but Statesman stays dead for much much longer time.

Now personally in Praetoria, I want to know how some groups I personally LIKE on Earth Prime, are doing. Here is a list of them.

    1. Malta
    2. Vahzilok
    3. Skulls
    4. Coralax
    5. Crey Industries
    6. The Knives of Artemis.

Those 6, I would love to see information on any Preatorian selves. Would Malta & The Knives be opposing Emporer Cole(since they are basically terrorist group on Prime, so would they be there? or perhaps actual Shock Troops for Cole?)

Dr. Vahzilok, what's he up to over there? Could he actually moved up the food chain & have higher lvl minions or done something completely different like Cyborg Zombies?

Skulls even around? I hope so... I really do like them.

Crey, I mean Come on CREY! Sure Lord Nemesis is all over, but so are they, Countess always has her hands in something, its like those 2 should be Husband & Wife, then bicker over who gets to wear the pants.

Of course Coralax & everything they represent here, what about over there?

Personally, I would want to know more on Malta & Doc V. more then Nemesis. I would also like to know more about the Praetorian Arachnos, since they ARE there, but thats all we know.

  11. Good Question, my New Rig, which will be purchased on Black Friday!

Will have one those, I hope it does

    JJ
  12. I would be there with my SG: Project Pegasus or my VG: Tokyo Screamplex

But we'll be way to busy running amok, GL though

  13. BACKPACK STUFF!

I so want that stuff, various packs like Malta have or something...

    JJ
  14. People are still showing black in Team, if they are not in a mission map or something.

  15. Ya'll writing off Lord Recluse, pffft!

Mind you the Dev's have final say, but in my opinion, Recluse would see this Praetoria, know his other self was killed by Statesman, could either respect the power Tyrant wields or take it really damn personal!

Which could double his efforts to take out Primal Statesman or Start a foothold in Praetoria Earth, to let Mr. Cole know, There is a reason to fear him.

Even if there a different form of Arachnos on that place, I bet Recluse will eventually swallow into his vast army on Primal.

As MUCH as I HATE Nemesis, our current Nem, wont want to stand by & watch all this, perhaps this start of the Coming Storm on Primal Earth, he just cant leave things alone & needs to get his hands in mix, period.

The only advice I can give to a new player, focus on your primary and secondary powerset for attacks. Don't take the pool power attacks, theyre a waste of power selections. at least for a blaster. Otherwise just play it by ear and you'll pick it all up as you go, and don't hesitate to ask people in or out of game for help or advice if you need it.
Avoid Energy Blast You'll make teammates angry, less your teamed with my Ilk, we take powers like that, to just grief each other & giggle in vent.

Power Pool "Attacks" are ok, With Air Superiority being best, but you wont need said powers as a Blaster, unless you go as a Blapper. Thats whole nother can of worms a rookie will want to avoid. I tell people playing a Blapper will train you to play a Dominator Better, playing a Dominitor will prepare you for a life as a Blapper

If your a trail account, you wont be able to send tells. You can coordinate a meet up though, Im usually on bout 5pm-7pm Mon-Fri(though I tend stay later, since most my mates are East coast, only 2 of us are West, wierd eh?)

Random Whenever through out the weekends.

Just leave post here or send me a P.M. on the boards, where you would like to meet up at.

  20. Thats cool of them, I've yet to ever have situation like that appear.

Then again me & my mates are always in a Mission, so that would be rather amusing to round the corner, see one them lay waste to a mob, turn around go: Everyone Gets one!

Which we would respond with, You stole our XP! -followed by us pulling out torches-

But yah, been a long time, yet to see one beyond random Event, even then I swung in, looked em, then scampered off to smack stuff.

Im waiting for Castle to show up one day & Shoot me, then Teabag me for constantly bugging him,

    Disappointed

    First: WAAAAH

Second: Get with times, save up some money, get a new Rig.

    Third: WAAAH!

Fourth: Pistol stuff is not for scrappers, so shut up already, I'm so tired of that old rhetoric. Im just amazed to see Defenders get that.

Finally: Stop playing the game if you don't like it.

One of my biggest Questions I ask people is this: Do you like to Fight from a Distance or do you like to get up & melee.

Then We go from there, because from that question alone, we can break down more options for you.

    So I'm new

I am old school, (My "Current" account, says otherwise, but I've had 2 previous accounts that have gone different ways from me ages go, Ive been around for a long time).

IF you want help, questions answered, builds built & explained, directions, game play info, where to go, who to talk to, & what to do & how to do it.

    Come talk to me.

You can send tell by do /tell @Darkmire, Hi (insert rest of your dialogue here)

I already found 2 new rookies to game last week, Ive ran em through basics, then let them go crazy, before offering a spot in my SG/VGs & eventually letting them join my regulars. I wanted them to feel comfortable with the game, before they got involved in our insanity

If you need just question's answered, I can offer answers.
