Quote:Wow! That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! What dummy takes the time to look into the info of a power, and only reads half of it!! This isn't directed at you Madam, just the guy you are talking about.me, I wont tell them they must take it. I'll ask why they didn't, and explain the benefits. If they don't take it then, their loss. Heck, I met a mastermind who at level 40 hadn't taken either pet upgrade power, and had no plans to take them either. I explained what they did, and he said he hadn't realized they gave additional attacks to his henchmen. He just saw the end costs and thought them useless.
Anyways, I'm brand new to VEATs and I know TT:M is very valuable. I'm level 10 as of today, but i'm picking up all the team buffs ASAP. So if you want to play with a real SoA, i'm on Freedom server. My SoA is called Captain Vell. Join me if you want to live! -
Great idea! I just signed up! Let me know how I can help!

Yeah that's weird. I was going to say it might be your keyboard, but you said it types fine in these forums. That similar situation happened to me before, but my wireless keyboard just needed new batteries. It stopped after I replaced the batts.

Quote:Freaking awesome!!Yes. Your 50 hero can send an email with a boatload of inf to your own global name and then log in as a level 1 hero and claim the money.
Evil must email evil, as you stated.
Yes, I giggled like a schoolgirl when this showed up on test. Now all we need is offline sg/vg invites and I'm golden. Thanks Bubba!

I'm not sure what you have tried, but this is how I got it to work. I don't have a 50 villian side but I have several 20+ also. I went to make a new VEAT and they were greyed out, I couldn't make one. What I did was I logged in with one of my lvl 20+ toons and then just logged off again. I didn't even move, just logged in and out. That unlocked them for me. Give that a try.

I've checked a few places and didn't find much info regarding the new feature to send influence, etc. through emails. I was excited because I have a toon on both sides that are rich, and I like to give my new toons some cash to start with. I hated to ask other people to help me transfer money because sadly, a few of them took off with my cash when I switched toons
. So what I'm asking is this; will I be able to send influence in an email to myself so that my other toons can take that cash? (blue/red side respectively). Thanks in advance!

Quote:I agree with you Gray. My older rig with 1GB of RAM was playable, but my load screens and markets were really slow. I just got an awesome laptop with 4GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card and CoX runs like a dream! More RAM truly helps!I think that the recommended specs listed there should become the new minimum (speaking from experience, the game is still quite playable on a system with 1 GB of RAM, and I don't have issues with SG bases, though it can take a couple of attempts to get into the market), and a new set of 'recommended' specs should be posted.
On that note, I probably won't grace the forums with my presence for a while because of the awesome DP blaster I need to re-create from the test server onto live!

Quote:Oh man that is awesome!!Quite true. Also I located this back long ago when we had a joke thread about Bud Light's Real Men of Genius:
Mr. Petless Wonder Mastermind
Bud Light Presents Real Men of Genius
(Real Men of Genius)
Today we salute you, Mr. Petless Wonder Mastermind.
(Mr. Petless Wonder Mastermind)
You've just rolled your new Mastermind and equipped it with weapons but not with its greatest asset, the pets!
(Pets are for wimps!)
Dual pistols, bow and arrows, laser rifles and coming soon; flaming whips! You feel that you are ready to face any foe with no pets!
(My weapons are shooting blanks!)
You're fully prepared to solo to level 50 since you will be never be welcome on any teams!
(Kick this giiiimmmmpppp off the team!)
So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, Mr. Petless Wonder Mastermind as you enter the Guiness book of records for most deaths in an MMORPG!

I haven't read all the posts in this thread so I don't know if someone has already mentioned it, but has any one else seen the movie "Equilibrium" with Christian Bale? In that movie they used some pretty cool gun/martial arts style moves. A DP blaster with some kind of martial arts secondary would be sweet! In the movie they called it Gun Kata. I'm not sure it that name is trademarked, but that would be a cool name for the secondary powerset. Consider me /signed! Duel Pistols/Gun Kata FTW!!

After reading the plethora of info in this thread, I know what I'm going to do.........................make a PB and WS LOL!! I'm quickly approaching my first level 50 toon, and doing some research on these 2 ATs. All in all, lots of good info here, thanks to all that contributed!
-
Good stuff! Thanks guys! Memphis_Bill, I will check those guides out! I do have to say one of my favorite ATs is a blaster. I like to cause serious damage while the tanks get the attention. But I like tanking too lol! Huey_Kablooie, do the Void and Quantum baddies spawn more often when you play a PB/WS as opposed to a normal AT? Thanks again!

I'm only a few levels away from my first level 50 toon! I wanted to post this ahead of time so I could see what you all say before I get to 50. I'm not real into the numbers and crazy stats. I just want to make a squiddy that can blast and a dwarf that can tank and have fun! From what I have looked at, there only seem to be a few differences, but I have also read that those differences are big LOL! Soooooooo? What are your opinions? For a fun killing machine, what do you reccomend? PB or WS? Do you know of any links to guides that you reccomend? Thanks!!
