Issue 17 Epic Archetypes Unlock (Villains)

I've read somewhere that you many need to log onto one of your 20+ villains for it to unlock. Once you've logged on/off with the 20+ it should allow you to create one. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what you have tried, but this is how I got it to work. I don't have a 50 villian side but I have several 20+ also. I went to make a new VEAT and they were greyed out, I couldn't make one. What I did was I logged in with one of my lvl 20+ toons and then just logged off again. I didn't even move, just logged in and out. That unlocked them for me. Give that a try.
Zyal's/JFreezy's solutions worked. Now I feel like a bit of a putz. Thanks very much!
Chameleon Spider - Level 50 (+3) Stalker on Virtue
This is the same issue that happens occasionally where the game "forgets" the EAT "flag". Some patches or NCsoft account maintenances will remove the EAT flag from an account (and not all accounts, it's REALLY WEIRD). If this happens in the future, you'll just need to log any character above 20 in and you'll get EATs back. Keep in mind that same-faction unlocks still apply (need a lv20 hero for HEATs, lv20 villain for VEATs).

And do pay attention to Aggie's comment. Just in case you will want to keep a 20+ on both sides of the fence if the game ever forgets you're supposed to have permission to make epic characters. It's not such a big deal now with the level 20 requirement, but that hit a lot of people hard in the past.

Also note that you do not need to log in a level 20+ on the same server as you want the Epic AT on. Once you've unlecked an EAT, you can roll one on any server, even one you don't have any characters on yet.

Hey all,
I'm a player with several 20+ on both sides but no 50+, so the Epic Archetype unlock actually affects me. Thing is, I only have access to the Hero epics, but not the Villain epics. Does this look like a glitch, or am I missing some info?
