  1. Thank you, Andy, for hosting all the Coffee Talk chats and helping us see some of the faces and personalities behind my favorite games. Your tireless work with several social media outlets really built up a connection with the community I'd never seen before. Thank you so much for reaching out to us.

Keep us posted on Twitter where you wind up! I look forward to supporting the next community you help build in the hopefully near future.
  2. Thank you, Protean, for making Praetoria much more than an eye-patch/goatee mirror universe of evil twins. Praetoria became so vast and compelling, with urgency and sinister Hamidon tendrils scraping the edges of a glass snowglobe of a dystopic utopia.

You approached a world of black and white, or blue and red, and gave us a much more mature branching plotline of shades of grey. You gave us a playground and showed us that too far on any path was extremist insanity, and it was almost impossible to take part in life changing events without getting one's hands dirty.

You gave us shades of grey and made City of Heroes really really interesting. With the great sadness weighing me down that City of Heroes is coming to a close, I feel a triumphant victory that Emperor Cole was defeated. I got to see him up to the very end of his crumbling empire, and felt like I really made a difference in saving the many refugees of innocents, and powered people that joined us to become heroes and villains in a new world full of hope.

  4. Thank you, Matt for designing a wonderful playground for our ideas, and creating a haven for badge-collecting outcasts, and making us all feel like we could save the day.
  5. I loved your effects work and it was great to hear you talk about your work in the Ustream sessions. I think your cheerful outlook is really going to help a lot of us cope with this great loss.
  6. Thank you, Melissa, for all the love you've poured into this game. Stopping by Bianco's in Faultline got my imagination running. I loved the Night Ward arc with War Witch's glorious return.

Thank you for giving us your farewell words. I don't want to see these devs all go their separate ways. I'll still follow everyone on Twitter and see what projects come your way in the future. Having the longest-running most successful and most fun superhero MMORPG on one's resume is fantastic to have.
  7. There are some fantastic costumes in this contest! I think that my favorites are Seldom's Mynx, Swan, and Valkyrie. The purple costume for Aurora Borealis reminds me too much of the early version of Mother Mayhem.

These are just overall fun and have been a joy to see.
  8. Yes I noticed this bug in my new arc as well. It's rather annoying from a storyteller standpoint to have a big heap of Ally/Captive Unaware dialogue flood the player upon map entry.

I recently finally found my way around the copyright filter, but had to republish my arc.

  9. Maybe a revamp of the Shadow Shard could be condensing all the zones into one, and a Heroes/Villains PVP zone like Recluse's Victory, where different aspects of Rularuu are struggling against each other for power, and the sky would change from orange to purple depending on which was in power. Of course, using the Nemesis base content from the RWZ arcs would look fantastic. Some Level 50 story arcs would be great there, and all the contacts would be present if the zone was in "day orange" or "night purple."
  10. This is so incredible! It's really inventive how you've used the arcane items in the cathedral and the lamps to create the Ninja Fortress. I love that samurai head you've created with the spooky arcane mouth door.

I'm still desking everything, but I love seeing your progress on these creations!
  11. So cool! More costume parts on the way! I've already bought all the costume slots, but I'm looking forward to seeing how my various characters look while paying tribute to Statesman.
  12. In addition to the total agreement about the 'Master-of' gripes, I think the anniversary Event badges should be retroactively made account-wide. I've kept from deleting some old toons solely because I logged them in once in 4 years just to get the anniversary badge.

I think that the anniversary badge should show that the PLAYER was active, not that particular character.

I constantly have to look at that list of Event badges that I CAN'T EVER get and it really kills my motivation to get ANY other badge, especially when I have to suffer the shame of exposing my badge-addiction by asking 23 other people to help me try to get it.

    Rogue Magazine

I loved issue #2! I'm dizzy over the Steampunk booster pack. So many new classic ideas to blend together and I loved seeing your designs showcased here. I'm definitely an avid reader of Rogue magazine!

    Rogue Magazine

This magazine is gorgeous and really inspiring for the dabbler in fashion design, screenshot mojo, and superbase feng shui. Your keen eye for color and cohesiveness makes me want to dive right into the game and create for hours! The magazine is so stylish that I'd buy it off the rack in a second. A project like this will really drive me to push harder to use the game tools as creatively as I can in the future.
