Could someone please let me know (as i've forgotten), the two main ways of logging a bug / assistance request inside the game please?

I know one of them is /bug - but 1 i seem to recall doesn't get you the assistance, just tells you you've logged it.. and i can't remember which one. - thanks!

Absolutely pants - no puns intended - i've still got 43 free tailor tokens on my main. so that really isn't cutting it for me, yet again.

People have been saying 'stop complaining about free bonus stuff' - but for us 57 month'ers, it's not even useful. we'll most likely never make use of it, apart from changing the badge name above our heads (if we're not RP'ers) - as i always go around with the latest vet month badge on my toons, as i'm proud to have played for this amount of time.

5 years is a milestone - c'mon devs, please make 60 moths a 'great' reward, for 5 years worth of money taken every month.

Having vented my spleen, i won't be losing sleep or stopping playing over it, though.

I created a thread at the time i got my 45 month vet reward too. I was also a bit miffed we hadn't got anything but the badge and the respec (which i've never used on my main)

yup - i agree, its definitely inside teh game, as everything else is fine. I'm sure i've had it before too I shall change the 3d sound back to 2d and see what happens

further update - i can only assume i needed to reset the in game sound, because i'd changed sound sources. Maybe these USB digital precision headphones dont actually work properly in 3D sound, as switching back to 3d sound in game with these new headphones seemed to only play in game music, OR, now add my fire aura sound, but no attack noises.

Either way, ill just play in 2d sound until i can get my sub on my 5.1 replaced.

update : every so often i hear an enhancement drop noise.... but nothing has dropped at the time i hear it.

I'm sure i read previously in the technical section that someone had an issue with their sound simply disappearing from the game, in the past, but i couldn't see the post on it...

Anyone know about this?

Windows sounds are fine, i can play music. COH fires up, login, get all the funky loading music, etc, character appears.

I run off, do something, could be zone or turn on a toggle power and things can be fine.

then all of a sudden with no pattern to it, sounds and music will stop.

Everything else is fine, windows is still playing my music (or not, if i've no music playing) if i load something else, such as a flash player with sound in a browser, sound is there. If i reboot / close COH and startup, sound is back again for a random, but short time again.

one thing i HAVE installed recently is a Logitech USB Digital Precision Gaming headset as my sub blew yesterday.

I'm going to uninstall that again, and reboot and see what happens, but i won't be able to tell if there's any sound, unless i directly connect a set of heaphones to the sound card output.. which ill also try.

BUT, i fail to see how EVERYTHING else works with this headset and so does COH to a degree, but then suddenly stops....

Is this the chat bug where you get a tell that resembles 3 or 4 chars and that's it ? e.g. "[chat] fr" then nothing else ?

As i've been getting that a lot lately and just thought 'oh dear, it's broken' and thought nothing more of it.

also sometimes, a reboot of your modem / router might fix it. Turn it off for 5 mins (normally q minute is fine, but if you're like me, you'll forget you've turned it off ) then turn it back on again after you've made a coffee

Didn't really bother me at 45 months - but the most recent 51 month did bother me, as all it was was a choice of one of the sands of mu, blackwand, staff, ghost slaying axe items you hadn't chosen previously as a vet reward. Lack of imagination there too.

Now I'm fast approaching 57 months (in feb 09, next month) and nothing has been announced yet...

I shall be mostly running isit in a fire based mission, as he's also fire / fire, so isn't weak to the mobs - up my inf considerably and pass it on to my other toons.

Plus, ill be making an effort to get further to 50 on villains. (38 currently) - as im desperately wanting to try the extra classes aftre 50 on COV

the goal for my 2nd toon (1st one was Isit Hotinhere and he achieved his goal of being able to be a sensible tank, even though he's fire/fire) - is to get him to 50, pure and simple.. he's 43 at the moment and seems to have been there for years...

My ultimate goal is to finally get my Thugs / bubbles mastermind to 50, so i can have a play with the different classes available to a level 50 in villains.

I suppose my ultimate goal, really is just to have more than 1 level 50 after almost 5 years of playing this game

Not that i've created or played one in ages, but i found previously the radiation/radiation defender to be good fun in a team and great soloing...

....i spent a fewminutes logging in all my toons last night, settling them in a place where the day jobs icon appeared and logged them out again, before switching back to my character i had chosen to play that evening.

When i park him up, ill load another. It's no bother for me at all. It means that while im not logged on with alts, they'll be getting the day job badges, much in the same way as they'd be getting nothing if i was playing a toon prior to I13.

Again, i'd forgotten about the Christmas event - looking forward to that

I had the same issue, and sat through the 50 mb download and the fix of just the exe file. But it wasn't because anything had found a false positive as nothing was picked up on AVG my end (or my 2 firewalls)
