There is no official word except that there will be a patch tomorrow.Quote:Do you have a link on this? I've not seen any official word other than the original post.
People are guessing/assuming/hoping the market fix is included. -
It's not a hard fight if you have mez protection and wait for your opening.
He hit me with the special attack ONCE. After that I just kept hitting him with very short animation attacks until I got the warning. Move back, the attack goes off, move in and unload with the big attacks while it's recharging.
Rinse and repeat.
From the animations, I think he has Energy Melee, which is loaded with stuns. -
Right off, I see a problem. Unless I'm mistaken, disassembling the laptop will generally void your warranty. Certainly, the last couple that I've owned had stickers covering key screws with a warning to that effect.Quote:
I know I have to take it out of the laptop,
Having said that, yes, you can get an external hard drive enclosure. They're dirt cheap since it's just a case, a small circuit board and some connectors. -
Objectively, it would seem that one maintenance a week is sufficient. If it were not, we would be seeing overall degradation in performance as we reach Tuesday and Wednesday.

Quote:I'd just like to have the best argument possible available so that I can maybe convince some people of reasons that they might play something that they find fun other than /Shield.Just ask them two questions.Quote:
And the problem I'm having with that is that those new to Scrappers that are bombarded with this way of thinking might be persuaded against other sets that they might enjoy.
1) Do you have a favorite food?
2) Would you like to eat it three meals a day, every day?

Quote:I believe it was BAB who reported "I heard Positron say....", so it was second-hand and hearsay.I could have sworn I read a post by Positron on the old forums where Bug Hunter was being discuessed, and he mentioned that there had been a few times he was going to award someone Bug Hunter, until he got further in the missive, and saw they asked for it, and that made him change his mind...
It was subsequently posted that it had been a misinterpretation. -

It's a bug. The red markers aren't supposed to show up except when you're almost done and presumably might have trouble finding the last enemy.

Cool name. My VG is named 'Shadows of Set'. Amusingly, I got it by buying it.
-
If it was blueside, I'd give you one.
But I'm poor (relatively) redside. -
Quote:I don't think the usage of global channels has changed much.During my early time here i had always purely used the coalition/supergroups tabs to organise such things but these days i hardly ever see or hear anybody use them. Instead it seems that people are now using the channels as a sort of server wide supergroup?
As for coalition, I always disliked it since you would often end up seeing only half of a conversation. I avoid that channel and always have. (i.e. I have it displayed, but I never use it.) -

Quote:(shrug) If you've been here that long, then your memory is poor. There have been WAY worse issue releases.Fanboys say "every Issue is buggy". I've been here for quite a few issues (came to the game in Issue 6), and I have to say this is by far the most Inf'-draining, show-stopping set of bugs I've ever seen in an Issue.
(So far - the servers could all go kerflooey tomorrow.) -

Quote:I'll mention one thing against your post. I highly doubt that we would get, and probably would not want, an entire Issue devoted to nothing but base improvements.Actually, I think an entire issue devoted to bases is entirely reasonable.Quote:Okay then, friend. Make the case for us. Don't just leave a sentence denouncing me.
Because.... I classify 'personal apartments' under 'bases'. If we get base improvements along with personal apartments, that would have widespread player appeal - EVERYONE can get one. EVERYONE can be a base builder. -
Quote:Sure, but not all of us. I'm patient and... um.... okay, I'm lying. It took me two days because I got home from work late the first day.I think it's a matter of self defense on the Dev's part. I mean, seriously. Most of us BHs got all of Issue 17's badge in the first day.
-
Quote:Actually, they said that was a mistaken impression. It was never the policy and the belief was based on a misunderstanding.Actually, about a year ago they said that they changed the "don't ask for it" policy.
Yeah, I know someone who has it both redside and blueside. -
The devs have stated plainly, publicly and officially that asking for the badge has no effect on your odds of getting it. Furthermore, it was stated that this was a myth - it was NEVER official position.
-
I would expect it to be "immediate" just like when you change the inactive demotion days in an SG. I put the word 'immediate' in quotes since it can take a couple of minutes.
That's my expectation since the command would be bloody well useless if it didn't work that way. -
No need to apologize.
It if happens again, take a screenshot and post it so the devs can see it. -
Quote:Other people have already posted where you went wrong here. This gives me a total of 90% reduction. The way I calculate it this means that this power should only take 20 seconds to recharge and yet it is at almost 2 minutes.
However, shouldn't common sense have told you that something was amiss in your calculations? 100% reduction would = zero recharge time. What if you had Hasten for 160% reduction?
FYI, endurance reduction works the same way. 100% reduction means your endurance cost is reduced by HALF, not 100%. -
I know there's a hero named 'Local Man'. He must be pretty famous - I read about him in the papers all the time.

Quote:Tip for you: When people ask for more info, it's because they WANT to help.Tip for the future... IF you don't like, or can not help a poster....DO NOT CLICK REPLY. easy peasy.
If you can't get more details, saying so politely is enough. Getting in their face doesn't help anyone.
