Black Scorpion provided a list, here, of all badges that require you to be a specific faction. Any badge not on the list, and not awarding, is presumably a bug.

1. I do SG stuff Friday evening.
2. I should be around at this time. Announce on a popular global channel. I'm on Inf Badge Seeker, AE Anonymous and Infinity Hamidon. If you need to be unsilenced on Infinity Hamidon, send me a tell.
3. Dr. McCoy is always cool. The spelling of "oppurtunistic" ruined the stalker one for me.

Quote:I believe so. They found it was a problem in beta if the leader dropped and the star went to a Vigilante/Rogue. I haven't tried it personally.I don't know if she will be able to lead a strikeforce as a vigilante,
You need an awful lot of people for this. It allows 24 and you really want as many as possible. -
I call BS. When most players choose to have concepts/builds that require Stamina, it's their decision. The simple fact is, a lot of people like to take the Fitness pool even when they truly don't need it. I can't tell you how many /regen or willpower builds I've seen with the Fitness pool.

Nope.
The only monster you have to kill twice for the badge is Sally in Croatoa. -
My mind is a blank.
(Since I've been running this the past few months, I used all my good ideas.
)

Quote:No, he didn't. He said something about Shadowhunter not being required. However, Shadowhunter was not required previous to Issue 18.The bagde requirments have been adjusted to match the retconned Tina and MJ arcs.

Well, the first obvious question is: was this being done from the regular contact (not Ouroboros) with someone else as the mission holder?
-
Basically, your choice was to get access to Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning early *OR* get the free month.

Quote:I just figured he was using a friends account. It wasn't until the end of the review that he mentioned the release date that I realized it had to be in the beta.1) Did you guys give him a review account? I can't fathom another way that he has Ninja Run and the Mission Teleporter and misunderstand that the latter is to be rarely used. Edit: Warden De Dios makes me look the fool.
This. Kudos to him for his delivery and to whoever edited the video. I generally find reviews of a product that I am already familiar with to be a chore to watch. This one was ENTERTAINING. -
eh..... Based on some forums posts, it appears the new Nightstar is not counting toward the Dimensional Warder badge. Looks like we'll need to do the first few missions of the old arc also, to get Nightstar and Siege (who does not appear in Tina's or Maria's new arcs).

Quote:The trick is to hop onto the small wall before making the sprint/ninja leap powered jump across to the higher tier.Wentworths in Talos is similar for people not running any jumping power. With Sprint, you can't QUITE leap over the wall if you're coming in a straight line from the base portal. BUT, if you run along that foot-high wall enclosing the grass, you can just reach the top of the wall behind WW.Quote:Thanks, I'll try that next time...still...the fact that it's *just* higher then the Ninja jump power can reach when your in the water makes me think that the Dev's planned that one rather carefully...
Of course, now I have Ninja Run..... -
Yeah, I had an incident like that. It was the final boss in a mission and he apparently had a bunch of lines for when he first saw me, down 25% HP, down by half, etc.
Before going in, I noticed I had a bunch of tier 1 inspirations (mostly red) clogging up my tray so I used them. Build Up was charged, so I used it. I led off with Headsplitter and got a critical. The guy died in one shot and spewed all his text:
- Ironblade! So, you tracked me down. You'll find me a difficult foe!
- I see you're not completely feeble, but I will still defeat you.
- Still fighting, eh? You may actually be a challenge.
etc.
etc.
Mildly amusing.

Only if you've had an active account for 48 months or longer.

Quote:Were the ones who got the badges Heroes?Apparently this is a known bug? The teams were a mixture of Heroes and Rogues/Vigs. The team members who received the badge were not leaders and also none of them got the final killshot.
There is currently a bug with Deathsurge. As a Vigilante, I defeated Caleb, Ghost of Scrapyard and Deathsurge on the same day. Deathsurge did not give me a badge. We spawned him AGAIN with the same result. His badge is currently bugged and only awarding to Villains. If you defeat him as a Vigilante, then become a villain, you will get the badge at that time. Someone I know had this happen. I petitioned and got the badge that way.
Lusca may be having the same issue. Checking which alignments did, or did not, get the badge should clarify this. -
I got the exploration accolade (and 5 merits) for Cap au Diable on my Vigilante. No idea what could be borked for you.
-
Quote:I only have these two so far as a Vigilante. There was no progress bar. Also, as a Vigilante, the badges have different names. (text from memory)Outlaw - Might need to defeat 100-150 before progress bar shows.
Impounder - Might need to defeat 10-15 vehicles before progress bar shows.
Thin Line - The Paragon Police have warned you that you walk a thin line blah blah blah
Pedestrian - No sane person will ever let you near their car.... -
Tina McIntyre's arc has been revamped (as well as Tina, herself). This one is shorter than Maria's arc, so we will also flashback to the Hydra arc for the Multidimensional badge (which is also needed for Portal Jockey).
Minimum level is 40 and we will meet in Ouroboros.
1. Ironblade
2. Fainche Skysong
3. The Faytes
4.
5.

Quote:I love posts like this. The subject matter isn't even important.Whether you like it or not it was designed as an expansion from the get go, since it was built on top of CoH's foundation.
"Whether you like it or not, the fact is that I'm right and you're wrong. My facts are irrefutable."

Quote:Well, this is kind of a dumb question, actually. Should the phrasing of a game NAME dictate the mechanics of the game? I don't think so.The True Question
Is this the right thing to do? While the benefits would be awesome (Prestige generated by both heroes and villains), if the game no longer seperates the two, is it truly a "City of Heroes"?
Define "shared". There have been countless incidents where heroes and villains have teamed up on a short-term basis. This would be consistent with allowing base access while teamed.Quote:In all my years as a comic reader, I never ones saw a base shared by both the good guys and the bad guys. Yes, I've seen bases taken over by one or the other, but not shared. -
Sounds like an error. I can't think of any reason Deathsurge should be treated differently from Caleb and the Ghost of Scrapyard.
