Occasionally, if upkeep wasn't paid for an extended period of time, the bases glitch and won't turn back on, even if you pay the rent now.
You'll have to contact customer service to get the base power reset.

yeah that's kinda dumb, just had the same thing happen to me. I blame Emperor Cole and will be calling CS in the morning. would be nice if there was an email or in game message about this because i thought it was a bug with my turbine generator and deleted it
they fixed it within 12 hours so that is nice, i sadly have to acquire all the salvage i had to delete as i had over 300 in my salvage container, plus the items to create 2 new teleporters which an old member made. but it works so yay

I came back after about 7 months or so and had the same issue. I decided to wait it out a few days (nothing in the base cost rent) and it came online on its own.
Granted the first time it happened I did the same thing as the OP. Petitions are the proper route to get it done for future reference.
I sent an ingame support email, just fyi, i didnt call CS. I dont know how long it took to fix as I went to play table top after an hour of trying to fix it solo and emailed them in game right before i logged.
I've usually had it done within 12 hours - most of the time within the hour, to be honest. (I'm *really* bad on checking on one or two of my SGs.)
I have returned after 2 years and decided to see my SG base. I found that even though I HAD a generator and control items they were not registering so none of my teleporters or healing ring worked. I deleted it all (yes including the 2 teleporters to start over and added a energy room and a generator and they still wouldnt register on the meter. i tried various combinations including using a energy/control combo and still nothing registers. if i add a workbench though it shows its usage and says there is not enough of the energy/control and i can not use the workbench. I also had a salvage container and had to delete a bunch of the salvage in order to hold it so i could delete the container.
any thoughts on why? I checked to see if the base upkeep was paid and it is.
