  1. That method apparently works, but it's a nuisance.

Another way that's supposed to work (and works perfectly for me), is to click the button on the login screen that says 'Remember Account Name'.

hmm... sounds like the animation starting state affects whether the next animation plays. There are tons of animations and emotes that have that problem. Terribly annoying.

Anyway, someone has also reported a bug where it was asking if they wanted to upgrade from the trial account - while they were on an account with 57 months of history. Sounds somewhat similar. Something must have been changed recently.

You know..... you keep throwing around numbers like 97% soloable and, given the number of task forces, strike forces and trials, that number sounds like total BS to me. I don't dispute that MOST (meaning more than half) of the game is solable, but that 97% is a complete load.

I have. Plenty. I did an STF Tuesday night and got my 3rd tier incarnate boost. Subsequent to that, I did 5 more STFs and got..... I think 14 shards. If there is a bug, it's not universal.

  7. Weird. um... sometimes settings don't 'stick'. Try setting the chat tabs the way you want them, save the settings as the default, (type /chatsave), then log out and close the client. See if that makes a difference when you log back in.
  8. I have also noticed this with the Steel Canyon tailor. As I recall, the last few times I ran the mission, the ambush size was 7 or 8 enemies (with me solo and set to +0/x1).

To be honest, though, I prefer it this way. It gets the hunting done faster. If I'm getting overwhelmed, I just duck back inside Icon.

No, it's still not unplayable. There are a handful of powers where the animation frequently fails. You could have a powerset where every single animation fails and it would still not be unplayable. It wouldn't be much FUN, but it would be playable.

Now, if you had said, "This really bugs me and makes me not want to play that toon.", I could understand that. To say that the character is "unplayable" is simply false.

    Please devs look into this.
hmm.... It works in a mission for one person, and not for another. Doesn't sound like a video issue. It may be something particular to the TYPE of mission or one or more maps.

Either way, the devs may not see the message posted here. I would suggest getting a mission, confirming that it's failing, and file a bug report from inside the mission. Be sure to mention that it works fine when street hunting.

P.S. The AS animation for Ninja Blade fails a lot also but I've only noticed it on teams. It may have something to do with the amount of animations taking place in the area. (When I play him on a team, it's generally a large team.)

I'm running the game from an SSD so fragmentation isn't an issue. The game initial loading time is crazy.

I can't agree with that. I mean, I'm not disputing that 25% number - I have no basis to support or dispute it. I just don't think that introverted people have that much of a problem playing with others in this game. I know a few people who are DISTRESSINGLY introverted in real life, but have no problem teaming in MMO's. On the other hand, I know someone who is extremely outgoing but just doesn't like teaming - not even with people he plays pen and paper RPG's with.

I don't think the introvert/extrovert spectrum is actually indicative of likelihood to team in an online game. Interacting online is just so different from interacting in real life.

I think you ignored part of what you quoted.

Well, that's not going to happen. He's not even at 20 yet. I've actually got more progress than I expected - 5 of the 50 done. Considering that I like the Kahn and Lady Grey TF's better than the STF, I'm off to a good start. I was thinking around 10 weeks; might be more like 6-7.

You're just saying I couldn't have 6 large regeneration bonuses, right?
Exactly. For example, I have an invuln tank with 5 of the 12% bonuses, 5 of the 10%, 5 of the 8%, etc. He gets nearly 200% regen from set bonuses.

To get shards you have to defeat level 50 opponents. Doing lower level TF’s is just NOT efficient use of a level 50’s time. Especially if he already has the TF.
Then you can spend your time that week doing something more efficient. No one is forcing you to run the low level TF's. Personally, I routinely run low level TF's on high level toons. All of my characters are specifically built for exemping as low as level 30.

I only address Avatea with the subject, is because she/he is the one that posted it. It matters NOT who does, only that it is inefficient and therefore poorly thought out for the above reasons.
No, it's not poorly thought out at all. You just happen not to like it. Lots of other people do like it.

Double experience, influence and merits seems to be incentive for people who have NOT done the incarnate system to help the level 50’s who have…not the other way around as many of you seem to think.
No. Unless you're a dev, you don't get to say what the intent is. That's just your opinion. My opinion is that the purpose is to offer something for everyone. Low levels can get extra XP. Incarnates can get the Notice of the Well. And EVERYONE benefits from double merits.
  17. I'll probably bring Ironblade. There's a badge for doing the WST fifty extra times (i.e. runs where you can't get the bonus since you already got it that week).

You need an enemy that does a single damage type with no damage over time. Under those conditions, you CAN'T be one-shotted. This is due to the 'one shot code'. You can take 5,000 pts of damage in one hit and you will be left with 1 HP. You just need to be able to heal back to full before the next hit.

    Extremely disappointed.
    Personally, I'm extremely PLEASED.
There simply aren't enough level 50 task forces to restrict the WST to level 50 content.

Should it? A lot of people want to IO earlier and a lot of people plan their builds for exemping. I've IO'ed a couple dozen toons and never use level 50 recipes. (Aside from purples, of course, since they exemp just fine.)

My advice to those who want midlevel stuff: if you want it so badly, go work for it yourself.
I do. I take random rolls at level 35 and I have a guy with XP turned off.
And I hoard whatever I roll.
