Making a good trailer is simple. There just one important ingredient.

Quote:Priceless.
The 54-year-old, a former prison guard who was jailed for three years in 2004 for "illegally petitioning" the central government about corruption in his hometown,
Corruption in his town got him sent to prison and now corruption in the prison has him gold-farming.

I don't know where that quote is from, but it's WRONG.Quote:
Global channel membership is based on account, not character. Joining a channel on one character automatically makes the channel visible to all other characters on the same account. Additionally, non-admin accounts are limited to 10 channel memberships. In order to join a new channel after reaching a total of 10, a player must first drop out of one of their current channels.
It *WAS* 10 channels, but now you can join 15 global channels. I don't care what any quote anywhere says. I personally tested last night and updated ParagonWiki accordingly (on the page 'Global Chat Channels'). If that quote is from ParagonWiki, I would ask that either you update it (check personally first like I did, if you like) or tell me what page and I'll fix it. -
So, really, you haven't determined anything. That's the worst type of computer problem - the one that goes away on its own. You never know when/if it will come back.

Quote:I do not think that word means what you think it means.I play this game to make progress I'm not really an RPG player or a socialist.

The word socialist does not mean someone who socializes with others.
It means a member of the Socialist Party or someone who supports or advocates socialism.
Socialism - a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. -
Quote:Tell them to honk off. I had a character whose 'travel power' was Combat Jumping + Hurdle. This was before inherent Fitness or Ninja Run. He got to level 50 just fine. No one ever said a word about it.I asked in help chat about travel powers. I am hoping to get away with just ninja run, yet was told that in some places not having a travel power would make me a liability in some teams.
According to the patch notes, this was fixed today. I have not tested it, though. -
*BUT*, you can no longer run the same trial 3 times to get all 3 badges. The badges are now linked to the specific trials.

Quote:From today's patch notes.
Corrected several instances where two doors (one unopenable) were appearing in certain Praetorian Tech maps. -
Maybe because the Smallville version looks like something you might actually wear while kicking butt, rather than plastic junk.

Quote:Okay.... well, I'm a member of Paragon City Search And Rescue also and I disagree with your initial post. Does the fact that I'm a member of PCSAR make my opinion carry some special weight? This is probably the best reply I've heard:
"I feel ya. I fondly recall the days when Infinity would be full of life. It seemed you'd never pass Atlas without seeing at least 20 some odd players standing around. CC's all the time, broadcasts a plenty and blind invites like crazy.
Those days are gone sadly. Getting some of the forum regulars to ADMIT that though is nearly impossible. Mainly because they are so 'head in the sand' with their own tiny tight nit groups that they don't even notice. When their long time SG's start leaving is when they realize times have changed.
Years ago the easy answer about finding teams was forming them yourself. This just isn't as easy as it used to be. Though they wouldn't know because they only team with friends...
See the pattern?
I miss those days. I'm a member of Paragon City Search and Rescue. We were formed alongside the Taxibots as a paramedic service for Heroes. We used to patrol Atlas and Hollows doing drive by heals and offering rez etc. Was so much fun. These services just aren't as needed in todays game though, so much of the old theme groups, the bots, PCSAR and the like are still around, we just aren't needed in those rolls nowdays.
The claim that this game is instanced so it just feels empty holds no water either. This game has always been instanced. Doesn't change the fact that the streets are empty now...
Anyways, just wanted to chime in and let you know you aren't alone in the feeling. Though I doubt a merge would do much to help. In fact, the grumpy ol vets are probably right about that one fact. Merging servers would be seen by players and industry at large as the death notice and I'd expect to see players jumping ship as a result.
Alas, now that the endgame is here (and not for me) this game is heading into it's twilight.
Hopefully this means they are hard at work on the follow up game though! I needs my Paragon after all. "
As pointed out previously: the 'best' reply you've heard is one that agrees with you. I am shocked! Shocked, I say!

Quote:My opinion - dump them all at a vendor.Any thoughts about if I should use them for my character, make the I/O to sell or vendor them?
Why?
1. None of them are notably valuable. Partly because the sets aren't very good and partly because of item 2.
2. Too low level. The buffs they give are kind of shabby. I generally don't slot IO's below level 30.
The only one that MIGHT get you more inf at the consignment house is Reactive Armor, but at level 19 I wouldn't be too hopeful. -
No, you posted a lot of irrelevant information which does absolutely NOTHING to back up your claims. We've told you numerous times what information would have meaning.
-
Quote:You don't need everyone running HeroStats. Just YOU need to be running it. Of course, if you had the entire team running it, you would collect useful information 8 times faster. No, we talked about this before. I can't keep team stats, unless I can it is worthless. I can't ask every teammate to install herostats for every run.
You can certainly keep posting your results - any information has value. But you can NOT draw conclusions about randomness based on your runs. The data is far too limited, omits one vital item (numbers of enemies defeated) and your conclusions are based on memory, which is unreliable. -
Quote:"This is the voice of world control. I bring you peace. It may be the peace of plenty and content or the peace of unburied dead. The choice is yours: Obey me and live, or disobey and die."There will no longer be an EU test server.
There will no longer be an NA test server.
There will now only be test server.
We are the world...we are the heroes... -
You don't have to be a villain to have a dramatic mustache. What about Salvador Dali? Now THAT'S a mustache!

Do we have any idea who Albert Maurer is? She (yes, SHE) is standing outside the Wentworths in Talos Island (around back, between two of the loading docks). She has a green name, just like a regular contact, but only says: " Hello, Ironblade. I've heard of the work you've done, keep it up. You and I have nothing to work on together...at the moment." She's been there a while.

Are you actually keeping track in a SPREADSHEET, so you can apply MATH? A couple of posts a week are meaningless because you're depending on MEMORY of what the patterns (if any) are. You need STATISTICS. You can post a run twice a week for ETERNITY and it means nothing - unless someone is keeping track of the numbers.
Oh, and without keeping track of the NUMBER of enemies defeated, the posts are worthless anyway. The drops are based on enemy defeats so the number of enemies is the single most important piece of information (after the number of drops). -
Quote:I took Stone Melee. For two reasons - theme and I had already taken all of those sets to 50.1) Which Secondary?
- Fiery Melee
- Super Strength
- Energy Melee
- Dark Melee
- Electrical Melee
I went Cardiac in order to squeeze every possible point of resistance. I haven't gotten to tier 4 yet and with Granite he's at 84% to everything (except smashing/lethal, which is 90% and psi, which is none at all). By the time I'm done, I expect to get those resistances to 88%. I think that will be pretty damn ugly.Quote:2) Which Alpha?
I took Energy Mastery for the extra regen from Physical Perfection and also Conserve Power. Due to the ton of recharge he has, END usage was an issue while not in Granite. The Cardiac Incarnate addresses that, but not if he exemps below 45.Quote:3) Which Epic Pool?
Teleportation and Speed for obvious reasons.Quote:5) Which Power Pools?
Then Leadership because I wanted Maneuvers to mule an additional Gift of the Ancients +runspeed and Luck of the Gambler +recharge. -
Quote:That actually won't work. If the channel name has spaces in it, it must be enclosed in quotes - the channel name, not the entire command. i.e.The game isn't like that! Use "/chanjoin N P C" to join a global channel full of people that love to help new kids.
/chanjoin "n p c"
Channel names are not case-sensitive. BTW, good channel. I'm on it and there is a link in my signature to a post with more info about the channel and the Mentor Project. -
Quote:No. It wasn't that. I never checked Pocket D personally, but was informed by others who MAY have been mistaken. I personally know that Ouroboros used to interfere with slotting Incarnate powers. I just checked both locations and both work fine NOW.The "combat effect" you are witnessing is your team messing you up by activating a combat related power.
I also recall that Ouroboros was borking teleportation for a time. I wonder if there was any connection. -
