Looks like just one character. The odd thing is though that none of the others even got the 3 month, technically its not due til the 24th, so I wonder why its even hitting me now.

At my trustworthy mark I just got hit with 33 month rewards instead of just 3. I know this is recurring and I've petitioned it and am waiting a response, I'm just wondering how and why this is even happening. I was hoping it wouldn't hit me so I wouldn't have to deal with it, but meh... thats the luck of the draw.

I really don't like getting credit for things I don't earn.

Sounds like you need to adjust your graphics card gamma as well. I have my computer set up so i can see anything in any game by swapping to a brighter gamma profile on the card settings if i need to.

OK the first mission of the Barracuda Strike Force (5th Column return) has 8 villains (with some Arachnos transport support) attacking City Hall in Atlas. Yes, of course, this is an instance, but could you imagine what would happen if 8 villains really tried this.

Ignore the drones. Besides Ms. Liberty, on most servers there would be dozens of heroes on site in seconds.

This gets replayed over and over in COV, but only once IIRC in City of Heroes, on the STF.

It got me wondering. Should those encounters be rewritten? Not necessarily to make them harder (although that might be the effect), but instead to add a whole lot of generic "heroes" (and in the case of the STF, "Villains") to the maps of missions where you attack opposite side zones.

So instead of dozens of generic PPD and/or Longbow, you have SpiritKnight and Starry Lass, etc. And of different levels too. Having a costume contest going on in a mission would be the height of immersion IMO.

Or make it even more fun. Whenever you get to that point in the Strike Force... A hero event message is sent out calling for heroes to defend City Hall... They then take a teleport at their city hall to the one you are currently in....

Its an expansion, why wouldn't you have to pay? I've never seen an MMO model that doesn't charge for expansions. There are free published updates and paid content releases.

I tried this but my flight speed at 43 seems to be capped with two 45 SO for Flight Speed. Group Fly gets the boost but Fly is capped and it has no effect.

As you mentioned, its the same with Everquest. At one point they cared about player feedback but at some point the devs took the helm and decided that they were in charge of game direction. Maybe the Lead or the Producer said they wanted to change directions I don't know.

When Blizzard first started, I believe they truly cared about developing games with the player base in mind. However the fact they allow the 'battle.net kiddie' activity to persist in their free battle.net content, their free forums, their paid wow forums and their paid wow content leads me to think its all about the biggest draw for the most money at this point. Let the players be damned.

Completely agree. I find this the same in most mmos: There are people that have absolutely no skill, there are those that always try to find the power level mechanic and wonder why they suck at the game at max lvl, there are those that learn to play the game and never get any better, and there are those that learn to play the game and get better as they learn.

In the traditional Grindfest/Timesink mmos, people think that gear is the way you become good. I'm glad this doesn't persist in COH.

I know all too well the types of a$$hattery that goes on in forums like WoW. Its pointless to have any sort of conversation in any venue that blizzard hosts because of the types of people they draw.

I'm convinced that Blizzard has a large part to do with cultivating a certain type of mentality and catering to it inside their games.

Burger King is where I prefer to eat fast food if I do. I will not go to McDonalds except for chicken nuggets. Anyone who says McDonalds fries are good has serious mental issues.

I do like both steak and tofu though. One of my fav dishes is a Spinach Tofu Pad Thai at China Bowl.

I chose triumph because i like low pop servers and the load is never heavy. It does have a few RP oriented guilds as well.

LOL I completely agree. I assume everyone in game is a guy, but when someone is sending naughty whispers to you it makes you wonder who they really are. I get this in every mmo I've played. I doubt the ppl who do it are girls but you never know. I group with them and shrug it off. I'll let them think I believe they are a girl but I don't indulge their fantasy.

In fact someone told me to my face I was a Buzzkill last night because I refused to play into their little game.
