Best memory? The feeling I get whenever I log into the game. It always feels like I'm moving from a world of adulthoods and seriousness to a world of childhood dreams.
And knowing from experience that the dev team is the most awesome of any MMORPG I have ever played. -

I blame Warwitch and her underlings for making a mockery of what should be serious and somber NPC mission dialog. How can we take our enemies seriously when they spout off so? Does levity really have any place in OUR game?

Okay, I'm lying. I make new alts all the time. Which is why it took me over a year to get my first 50. But to reiterate, the Journey in CoX is what it's all about. While other games toss around terms like "End Game Content", we've always managed to avoid that here because there is so fricken much to do between 1 and 50 that I never get bored of it.
Case-in-point, the first Issue added a new zone with content for level 5-15 players. Other new content that was added over many Issues included zones for levels 15-25, 20-30, and 30-40 because the devs have known all along that giving players more reasons to create alts was far more important than giving them reasons to race to 50 to play some "End Game". -

And actually, realistic butt physics would be lovely too. We spend pretty much all of our time staring at our characters backs and behinds. They should really be as refined as possible. -

Not that I disagree... but what brought this on? This thread is a non sequitir.
I hardly ever use the "with skin" option on any my characters, which are also always female. These days I let my husband do my costume designs or I'll end up spending days in the character designer. -

On the kicking from team thing. I actually seek out teams with wildly diverse class combinations. If people know how to play, the powers they pick don't mean a thing to me. -

I'm trying to think of a fond memory of CoH in the past...thinking, thinking. Because it has consistently gotten better over the years. CoX now compared to CoH almost 6 years ago is like the difference between a lightening bug and lightening. Yeah, I have a lot of fond memories from the past--first time flying or super jumping, stuff like that. But CoX now is so very awesome compared to what it was.

Just a quick comment to add to all the great advice in this thread. Learning how power Enhancements work can take some time. They are those little round things you put in the round slots that come with each power. And you get more slots to add to powers as you level.
It will take time and research on your part to really get their benefits. Because they let you customize each of your powers: Improve accuracy, damage, recharge time, etc. I highly recommend just slotting accuracy enhancements in the early levels. Because I like to hit more--missing less--even though I do less damage.

Off topic comment that is supposed to be witty but fails miserably. Lament about how hard it is to think this stuff up. Reference to why else would I have less than 1000 posts in almost 6 years.

Maybe I'm alone on this one. But it bugs the heck out of me when people use the word "ton" to describe a lot of things. Example: "There were a ton of people running that marathon." I see that in forums all the time and it drives me nuts.

If you have Windows 7 and a bunch CoX screenshots you can set your background (Personalize when you right-click the desktop) to a Slideshow option (lower left corner of the Personalize screen). You can then pick all the CoX screenshots you want to include in the slideshow. I love it!.
