On the subject of booster packs, I was considering getting the mac pack for the mission teleporter power, but I can't find any info on it on the wikia site.

If you're defeated while you still have patrol xp, does the debt that gets "payed off" count towards the debt badges?

What if you're trying to bid several identical non-salvage items? e.g. I want to buy 2 damage enhancments for x inf but non are available at the moment, so I leave the bids and carry on playing/logout/whatever.

Deleting your old bid is only a minor nuisance anyway.

I don't know where to stand on this issue, you get points for originality, that is for certain.

Personally I don't see what the incentive for hopping to another server for a brief period of time. However reading other peoples posts, it seems that there are people who do.
So I wont call it a bad idea, I'm just not sure if it is a good one.
