This thread reminded me of that screenie of that one guy from WoW who had like 20 accounts or more, playing them all at the same time. My wife would kill me if I ever tried that hahaha

I agree, even talking with friends about the said "other" super hero game, I just think our Dev team is more talented. Looking forward to the future! Only thing I have ever complained about is when they are going to fix the Avatar bug on the boards to accept the "~" link deal.

That was the one huge edge WoW had over CoH for me. Running around the "zone" was a lot more immersive because there was stuff to do and investigate.
I'd love to have something variation of that in CoH. Bank robbery in progress, riot in the Silver Lake district, CoT invasion through the entrance to Perez Park, some *reason* to pay attention to the zone, a reason for them to exist beyond putting distance between mission doors and having some stuff to farm if you're in the mood.

I totally agree, I always thought it would be cool if perhaps if a zone went unattended, (not a lot of players going to it) perhaps the mobs slowly take over that zone over time, perhaps start building stuff. Almost like weeds in your yard. Have to stay on top of it or stuff happens. I know that's a pipe dream and the "devs" really can't sneak entire zone remodel with out the player base knowing but those surprises would be cool. We effect environment. If I saw a building destroyed in AP, that was fine the last time I saw it, that would draw me in and start to ask questions. I know impossible but that would be fun.

If I could ask a dumb question; for "surrounding enemy group" I don't have the option for "Single" in the MA editor or do you make this edit to the actual text file of the mission? Still learning all the tricks.

Having extra powers in the low levels will be nice but overall I am kind of disappointed, but whatever, would rather have them use the resources to make the game better than worry about these Vet Rewards..

yeah I agree with most, there is huge difference to actually tracing something and having reference to look to. Besides the most skilled who can just draw what they envision, all the illustrators, animators that I work with including myself have huge reference libraries to help fill the gap when the mind can't seem to do it

I am a bit foggy here but.
I remember when missions (including caves) did not have doors to open.
There was no automatic AFK in zone areas and it didn't boot you. Many said this was added because of the PI PLers??

I always thought it would be nice if SG/SV bases perhaps had their own auction style store for its members.
Meaning, members could post their unusable enhancements and people in the SG/SV could check this auction and see what is available and could purchase it. Of course I would imagine people would sell them lower than what the stores would sell new but higher than what the stores would buy them back for. So if I got some Magic SOs that I cant use I could post them on my SG/SV auction and see if I can get some cash for them. The member looking to upgrade his Magic SOs, could first go to the base and see what is available in their base auction house first. He gets a slightly reduced in price SO, and the guy selling gets some influ/infamy. SG/SV members helping each other out.
I know it would make me actually want to go to base to see whats available. This is off the top of my head and havent did any numbers with how much an SO costs compared to how much you can sell it back to the store for but. Probably tons of holes in this situation but just a thought to get people in the base interacting together????

This sounds interesting. Actually make bases useful. I am never in our base ever. Nothing really to do there, even having teleporters there.
I wish they would make chairs etc like NWN where you click on them and it actually sits your character instead of trying to position yourself and trying to do some /e emote?

I started a TA/Archer Def recently (currently lev 14). My concept was to be a very ranged. I was curious why Flash Arrow does not allow ranged enhancements? I mean, shouldn't all the powers in the Archery sets take range?
Maybe it's a bug? Anyways was just curious? -
Does the timer for NF reset if you go to/zone into a new area/mission door?
