  3. From Comingsoon.net

The Universal release has taken the title from the Eric Van Lustbader book based on the series created by Robert Ludlum, but they will not be using the story. "This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter...this is a stand-alone project," said Gilroy.

"The easiest way to think of it is an expansion or a reveal," Gilroy added. "Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he's very much alive. What happened in the first three films is the trigger for what happens. I'm building a legend and an environment and a wider conspiracy... the world we're making enhances and advances and invites Jason Bourne's return [down the road]."

-Add to your contacts tab the WST contact if you're high enough level to use that contact, and have unlocked them for the TFs where that's necesarry.

-Put someone in Ouroboros that explains WSTs and tells players which the weekly WST is

Plenty of implementation options, and it doesn't have to be special, it just has to be /there./

    Those are all great ideas.

Perhaps the Newsies that are by the Trams Blueside could be used to give the info as well; just stick a couple of Newsies by the Ferries Redside to also provide the info.

    Swinglines!

Stupid Science Skyhook 1: The hero discovers a way to generate stable portals, from any location, but other end is always in his lab, next to the machine that actually generates the effect. They're also limited to about two feet across. Aside from being useful for yelling through to get his shop assistant to hand him his lunch (which he forgot,) the inventor can't think of much this would be good for. Until it occurs to him to put something very large and very, very heavy next to the portal, and then invent a device capable of attaching and detaching to this object on command.

Ta-da! Every time he fires the skyhook, it activates the portal generator. The grappling hook hits the anchor block which is immediately on the other end of the portal, providing a stable anchor to an object which is both too large and too heavy to pull through the opening. (And is also close enough to the opening to keep the bad guys from crawling through into his lab. Although this does have the disadvantage of preventing his assistant from being able to use the portal to hand him his lunch. Which the hero has forgotten. Again.)

Stupid Science Skyhook 2: The inventor has discovered a way to generate a totally impenetrable force field, and to do so with a very very small device. The force field has several disadvantages though. First, it's totally immovable, relative to the surface of the most massive nearby object. (Which would normally be the surface of the planet.) Second, the forcefield is smaller than the device that projects it, or in this case about the size of a large marble. As a defensive item or a weapon, it's totally useless, but it makes a lovely pivot point for a skyhook.

Magic Skyhook: It's *magic.* Which mean, pretty much by definition, that it works despite any rational reason to the contrary.

    Great Ideas, ShadowsBetween.

Alternate animations of different items attached to the end of the swingline would provide different methods (Tech or Magic) of swinglines, with no buildings or large structures needed to attach to.

4 different versions of the same power:

1: Dimensional Portal (could be explained by Tech or Magic)
2: Energy Platform (Tech looking version, platform generated by a device at the end of the cable)
3: Energy Platform (Mystical looking version, with an energy tendril as the “cable”)
4: Anti-gravity unit with stabilizing thruster jets (uses the animation from the Rocket Boots costume piece)
  10. Bases aren’t obsolete, but they could use some attention devoted to them.

At this point it is unlikely that SG bases will receive a complete overhaul over other projects (new zones, zone revamps, additional Incarnate slots, additional Powerset Proliferation, etc…) being done.

Instead, What I would like to see is every Issue to bring 2 or 3 new base items.

And although we won’t see a booster devoted entirely to SG base items (since people would run around gifting them to other SGs on the server), it would be nice to see 1 or 2 base items included as part of a much larger Super Booster pack that also includes Costume pieces, auras, & emotes.

    Swinglines!

It would be nice if the swingline could serve a dual purpose, in areas where there aren’t several tall buildings to continuously swing from; that instead it could latch onto a medium sized object & slingshot you high into the air, where after a few seconds a paraglider would deploy to get you the rest of the way.

Too little, too late I guess.

Great News about the returning shows (Eureka, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary), not thrilled about Haven returning, something about that show just feels lacking.

Probably not, but I thought it would be an interesting twist. An afterlife would also support the religion side of things and how there will always be some points of knowledge outside of our reach.

    I like this idea best.

If the writers for this episode were better, they could have subtly presented this idea.

My theory on how Slade gets powers.

When the base self-destructed, shrapnel (from the kryptonite bars shattering) penetrated Slade’s eye & embedded itself in his brain giving him meteor rock powers that will be similar to the abilities Comicbook Deathstroke has.

When Slade & Clark fight, the kryptonite will weaken Clark to the point where it will be a fair fight.

I loved the episode, but hated how the clip for next week completely revealed what was wrong with Sam.

Sam’s soul being missing should have been kept out of the clip, and then shock us with it during the episode.

Clips should be teasers to get people interested in watching the episode, instead of giving away major plot points.

Movie trailers make the same mistake by revealing too much.
