You save 200 Merits, and avoid all the risk associated with random rolls.
I was about to suggest this as well but Leavateinn said is sooooo much better...lol

I also noticed that increasing the amount of mobs by setting to "3 heroes" worth didn't change the mission completion xp, the "1st" xp listed.

Question? Which villian arc awards 18 merits?
This is really good advise, I have not really done much with the Orbo other than running the Nic with a good friend. I am going to start these tonight as I am very bored with the "Event".

I am going to follow your advise and run at the 1/+1 level.

I am going to look into creating my own sg. I store a lot of valuable items in the SG bins and although I have never "felt" like things are missing, I run too many toons and store too many items to really keep track.

Last night I was on a toon that I had not played for a while and went to the SG base he was in (it was an alt base) and found that I had stored one lotg+ one numina++ and a miracle that I was going to use on the toon I was running.

I had forgotten all about the booty that I had stored. Now Im going to run thru all my toons and see what I have floating around.

    Thanks for the advise

This week, market trends reversed; prices started to climb, to above pre-Halloween event levels in a few cases, and supply started to drop sharply in some cases. I sold off nearly all of my hoarded stuff from last week, and actually managed to single-handedly delay any increase in prices in a few cases (the instant I was sold out, prices started climbing ).

Interestingly, this is exactly what happened during the AE era (sharp drop in prices, followed by a steady surge of demand and diminishing supply). No doubt, just like during the early days of i14, people are using the event to powerlevel themselves, and now all the shiny new level 50 characters are going shopping. If any furture event causes massive amounts of powerlevelling, well, now we know what to expect.

    And so ends our scheme.
I wanted to say thank you for your efforts, Im sure it took some time out of your regular play time to run this fund.

Like you I have more Marketeres than I care to follow, some major and some minor. It was a very interesting program you ran and goes to show you that there is money to be made.

I will poke you some time this week and then head to Atlas to surprise some more lowbies.

OUTSTANDING WORK BY YOU. (5 Stars to you if they were still giving them out)
    PEACE!!!

lol... I feel the same way, I am new to the blaster set but am having a ton of fun with my fire/fire just running some regular IO's. Sure I die but I do a lot of damage, currently he is in the very low 40's and I am going to start to IO him out. I have heard about soft capping a blaster but have no idea where to begin.

As long as you have that section on your clipboard, Mids' should interpret it. One thing to note, however, if you're using the Titan Network i16 version of Mids' (v1.601 versus the v1.401 of the build), a few of the IOs won't carry through. You can easily fix those glitches however.
Very awesome... I did not know that, tried it and it worked.

    thanks for the info.
  8. I just came back from vacation and noticed that some of my slightly higher expensive items that usually sell in a few days were still waiting to be purchased. Not sure what the reason is I guess I chalked it up to the current event.

Anyway Im a patient market player and the niches that I run in usually dont turn over very fast but the profits are high.

I might have to re-evaluate after the event ends...

I gave my sons explicit instructions on what to do before they close that casket and lower me into the ground.

Not sure if you have noticed but the price of purples has been comming down so the build will not be as expensive as it was prior to I16
  11. I was gona ask for the same thing so I can upload into my mids at home (or work) and play around with it

    Ding! At Last!

wOW very nice... I have a Fire/Fire Tank that is over 5 years old and is only level 19. He was the 2nd toon I ever made but lost interest in him. I have been using him as a Marketer mainly crafting and selling IO's. Right now he is sitting on 500 million so perhaps one day I will do what you did and work him to 50.
  13. I was buying and holding when purples were in the 50-55 million range and they cashed out when they were very very scare releasing them in the market slowly. I still have a stock full that I purchased in the mid 50 million range. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet. Might just slot them into my Fire/Kin Corr since I only have one set of purples in one toon I might just slot into another one.
  14. I feel your pain... been there tooooooooooooooooooo many times to keep track
  15. Welcome to the show that never ends... spend wisely... spend foolishly... just spend
  16. Very Very Nice!!! Congratz... and to think I hit the Jackpot when I sold a purple dmg for 1 billion when they were selling high.

I gotta tell you I am sooooo there with you. After playing this game since July 2004 and seeing most of my friends leave the game has become boring to me. I was hoping that RL would spark some interest including a shared market of some sort.

Seeing that that is not going to be the case I am going to actively look for some other place to spent my entertainment dollars

You know the drill Poke me, get cash

Rare salvage rose moderately after DXP. On the bright side, DXP cleared out a lot of the supply glut and stocks on most IOs are now back to a more healthily low number. There was the usual post-DXP silliness, including recipes selling for more than the crafted enhancement on some items. Other than that it has been a fairly normal week.

The Halloween event starts soon! I remember last year's event caused a huge crash in rare salvage prices, but I can't remember what the cause was, if anything.
Been away all week was in the Bahamas celebrating a wedding anniversary... have some catching up to do so I think I will poke you some time next week when you shut down the fund.

Its been interesting to follow your progress, and thank you very much for the effort.

Like my previous earning whatever I receive will go to some deserving lowbies with less than 3 month vet badges.

No moolah this time round. Since I missed a week, the next round of dividends are probably going to be on week 9, then again on 11 which is the final week. I will try to catch all of you with uncollected dividends before DXP ends.

I just realized that I've given out 1.2bn in dividends so far. So, this fund has made 2.1 bn in 8 weeks, or slightly over 1bn per month per character, which is consistent with all other cases where I've bothered to keep track of income. It's interesting to note that i16 doesn't seem to have changed this (we're just under a month since the new issue was launched), although transaction volume is definitely lower and I keep getting the impression that I have to be making less money.

DXP has been pretty normal. I don't trade generic IOs or salvage, so any market changes passed me by.
FINALLY!!! we caught up to each other, Thanks for the pocket change... the 200 million will be given away to some random lowbies thru out the month

    2xp observation

I have stayed away from the market for the first time since the market started... had real life issues and then wanted to get a few 45+ toons up a few levels... Well did not play much and those toons are not any closer to 50

Same never gave them much thought, as the previous poster noted this was one I use to delete.
  23. Hell_Jumper

    My turn!

    Congratz on your 50's.

I tried to play a few of my 45+ toons that have been 45+ for a very long time and the closest I got was one to 49... just too many others to play... oh well

Dont look at their badge count and then you wont know.
