He had a full helmet in that preview comic. Looked pretty cool too.

Makes me think of the dodgeball movie
ESPN 8! -
Dual pistols and demon summoning otw should've already been common knowledge at this point, as often as it's been previously discussed among us and the rednames.

just pointing out that not everyone was informed about the event, or at least the people who don't lurk in the forums.
[/ QUOTE ]
You don't have to lurk the forums. Pop in once a day, check the announcements section. Takes less than a minute. If you can manage to squeeze another minute out of your incredibly busy life, you can check the community digest as well and be even more informed. Easy as checking your e-mail. -

I thought all the Rikti at the End of Beta Event conned 50-54 and not like they are now to where they spawn even level to everyone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sounds right, I can't recall for sure though. I do remember the massive Independence Day-style rikti ships over the sky before the attacks started which is what made that event the most memorable for me. -
I was pretty shocked when I got my SoA to level 10 and discovered this as well.
One of the coolest things about the VEATs are their color custom Arachnos uniforms... but you can only have one? Why?
Personally I'm just having to save/load all my VEAT costume designs in the creator and stop at the tailor and pay every time I want to switch. -
Thanks for all your hard work helping to keep the community strong. It definitely shows. All the best to you and wherever life takes you next!

Million dollar question. (Or $10)
I ordered the box from Amazon. Should be here soon.
In this box I get a code for either Cyborg or magic booster pack as well as the retail game.
Can I... apply the booster pack to my current account, and use the retail game and key to open a new account?
[/ QUOTE ]
No. You get one code for the CoH:AE. When you apply that code to an existing account you'll be directed to a screen where you chose either Cyborg or Magic packs. So those have to go to the same account you applied the CoH:AE code.
[/ QUOTE ]
bleh. Well, thanks for the clarification -
[ QUOTE ]
hmm, not sure, might be possible, if you get two codes, but it may be all under one code
[/ QUOTE ]
That's what I'm afraid of. -

Siphon more cash from the masses. How about some cool free stuff?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, you mean like that minor update they released this morning? I guess that wouldn't count though. I mean, it's just a potentially infinite source of new, creative playable content. Not very cool at all, really.
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly what costumes were released? buttcapes only apply to one subset of one class.
[/ QUOTE ]
Stuff, not costumes.
Jay this stuff is hawt. I love these designs -

I don't care if it's obvious or not. I have worked in IT for 15 years. If I treated my client base in this fashion (leaving them in the dark) I would not have a job for very long. The scheduled down time was from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST. They communicated nothing until 30-45 minuites ago. Just letting us know directly what's going on so that we as players can level set our expections, I would think should be assumed and provided in a timely manner.
[/ QUOTE ]
The scheduled downtime is an estimate as it always has been, therefore there is no need to notify you as you've already been notified. You have no argument here.
[/ QUOTE ] Sure he does. The customer always has an argument. Besides, if he really didn't have an argument, then Ex wouldn't have given us the update.
[/ QUOTE ]
That doesn't even make any sense. The argument he made was that we were "left in the dark" but this is not at all what happened. It is always plainly stated that downtime schedules are an estimate and can go longer than expected for an indeterminate amount of time. Just because a redname kindly provided an update to the situation doesn't suddenly make the argument true. -

Thanks for the laugh :P -
Most of the time when a new issue comes out, I'm like "they won't be able to top this one with the next one." Then I say the same thing when the next one comes out.
You always amaze me, CoH team. Thanks for all the work you do. Can't wait for issue 13 -
Thank you for the grants, Global especially after all the I12 updates.
-
(Haven't read entire thread)
$9.99 did strike me as a little much, although I don't desire to sound like an ungrateful customer. CoH is an amazing game and I'm always shocked at the quality of the events, expansions and various other things we get "just because." So, I can deal with the $9.99. If there were something in it to beef it up a little more though, like say the CoV pre-order helmets, I wouldn't hesitate.
I just hope the wedding pack doesn't become a vet reward down the line. -
Dmitri Krylov is listed as a 10-15 contact with two story arcs.
I am level 15, and just finished his Vahzilok arc (started at level 14)
He won't give me any more missions period, which means no Spetznaz story arc (his other arc) for me.
Peter Themari, another 10-15 listed contact WILL give me his second arc AT level 15.
Also, thanks for putting the work in for this guide, I use it along with Red Tomax's to make sure I try not to miss any arcs and badges.. yours has more Arcs listed for certain contacts than the other, so I missed some with my first villain.
Both have really helped a lot and people do appreciate it, so thanks. -

I am really looking forward to the process to turn your Hero into a Villain! I think it would be cool to play a "fallen hero" with all of the old badges still on your info screen so people can see all the great things you once did for the city =)
