the duration of smoke grenade debuff along with its recharge are apparently weak as well..
Smoke grenade also doesnt prevent you from being spotted first at a pvp zone for instance, something that is usually a big advantage if the enemy doesnt know you are there. -
Hmm true. Due to bad sleep my brain is vacant atm. I apologize. I remember testing this against retro-scope at arena though, and smoke grenade+cloaking device was pretty damn weak, even when my toon didnt have any +perception whatsoever.

If Im not mistaken, cloaking device + stealth io is already at nonstalker stealth cap? Or cloaking device is weaker than I remember in which case you get stealth instead and then you are..

In theory EM blaster could do it, they just need stun, TF, bonesmasher and energy punch and win at lottery. -

Earth/Storm for example. What a stalker can do against it if he is seen? he will get debuffed, -jump (i am not sure if earth got -jump but i remember something like that) and of course held soon.

And yes, quicksand is -jump. Holding my stalker is however an accomplishment due to doublestacked Kuji-In-Rin most of the time. -

[/ QUOTE ]It doesn't need to. Plenty of stalkers have access to disorient skills which can do all of that for you. Resilience helps a lot to avoid stuns, but doesn't offer much else. Useful if you're getting stunned a lot, but hard to balance with everything else you might want in your build.
Anyway, you guys can scoff all you want. All I know is I was *held* using that very skill. And no, I wasn't stood still, and neither was I trying to make myself an easy target for assassin's strike. Regardless, the emphasis should have really been placed on Fear (A rookie error on my part in the OP) which even you guys admit is difficult to avoid without spamming Break-Free's.

Not over Integration. I've never seen EM stun over Mez Protection, maybe a Tank could do it at a pinch, but yeah.

Actually, regens stun prot is possible to overcome. I had it done to me in a duel recently but I forget who it was or what kind of toon..
There are lot of ways to stack over integrations hold prot but a solo STALKER sure as hell can't do it, not even DBs imba one!
Extremus: Yes, AS still toggledrops, the chance is just as small as with most everything else though.
edit: I suspect the OT just had some other villain hit him with a hold or two, and just didnt notice it. -
Spirit shark jaws needs 4 applications to stack over integration... With 32 second recharge.. And um something like 12 second duration.... No, I dont have a clue what you are talking about.
If stalker would have a hold in his primary, it would be possible, but, I didnt see any at a glance.. DM does fear and immob but no hold.. Point it out to me if Im being blind. -
snow storm doesnt really prevent a pvper from escaping unless you also use -jump like webnade.

[/ QUOTE ]Integration offers defense against holds, not immunity. And since there is no way to enhance the hold defense given through enhancements you're pretty much stuck with it. It also needs to be noted that all toggles, including Integration, are disabled when you are held, making them very easily stacked once you're already rooted in place.

Yes it does if we are talking about stalker with holds. AS can toggle drop integration and whatnot but it is not possible for a stalker to stack over the protection that integration gives to the best of my knowledge. -
Not to mention that ALL damage spines does except the DoT is lethal damage, and I dont think invul resistance against that is very small.. And DP gives toxic res anyway. The spines simply cannot hurt the tanker without the exception of Crits. Bah this conversation is stupid.
Back it up in pocket D or everyone just shut up. -

Just double BU+AS couldve propably killed the firetanker as they dont get +hp power like dull pain. -
Stalker uses hold Move: Propably DM stalkers fear instead. Pop a breakfree. Stalker cannot hold a regen scrapper who doesnt forget integration.
Stalker uses build up: Jump away
Stalker uses AS: You werent jumping away. Meh, click reconstruction And attack back. Remember it is possible although hard to interrupt AS by breaking line of sight as stalker has to stay still. Even if you are feared and have no breakfrees, being attacked allows you to click powers again. So hit DP and IH if possible.
If you want to stay safe from stalkers, just keep breakfrees with you and keep moving. Did I mention keep moving?
Note: If you are double-ASed by two stalkers theres nothing you can do.. -

Exactly. I think it was Castle who explained that the weapon-draw animation was fully compensated for by a faster attack animation following. So, you could switch between weapon attack and unarmed attack all night long and still attack just as fast as anybody else. Well, it would look kinda stupid though.

Nothing wrong in the proc chance.. 1 out of 5 is just right. You cant increase the chance much before its like every strike.

If you ask me, that IO would be a superior damage proc, apretty scary but random thing in its own right, but what its set bonuses will be is anyones guess. Also I doubt the crafting pricetag is real, it looks like something outta a special test event. Normal common IO crafting prices at lvl 50 cost lot more than that.

Im not sure what to think of this. If its just normal damage buff, then it would be affected by ED.
One another thought occurred to me.. Could it be slottable only in powers that do 'superior' damage? Maybe the name would mean that?
