I thought I would revive this thread as there have been quite a few people request invites to the 1 AT Coalition tank supergroup.

Whilst we have a good dose of level 50s we really are doing badly for Prestige. Currently my tank Golden Golem is in the lead with about 154k Prestige. So here is a plea for more tanks to earn Prestige, Golden Golem is willing to help out on the influence side for those of you in need in exchange for earning Prestige.

Also Rock Eagle is doing a purge. Any tanks who haven't been on for 40 days are likely to be kicked, this is to clear room. You are welcome back when you start playing again.

I've switched out of SG mode as the lower level tanks need influence for their SOs, I've given out a few mil so far and found that I can easily earn 1 mil inf in an evening doing a few missions.

If people need inf then send me a tell in game and we can do a few missions to earn some inf and prestige. I tend to be on as Halo unless I'm testing new builds and tactics on Pyrius.

Ah yeah J - I've found that I'm going to have to respec stamina back into my build, the end red SOs aren't enough (so I was talking [censored] the other night), fire sword circle takes so much endu and that's my main AOE.

I think that a Fire/Ice blaster could be pretty good, use SS and stealth to get into the middle of a mob, drop ice patch then rain of fire and fireball = AOE carnage woo followed by the fire nuke (inferno?)

An empath is good for the heals and the buffs or you could go for a rad/rad for the heals, buffs and debuffs.

I have an empath/psi - the attacks take time to activate and so at the lower levels you spend most of your time using your primary, the later levels is where having psi comes in useful due to it's unresistable effects.

I've tried in the past with the ionizing grate and it doesn't work, only some things can interact with others, I've tried to stack crates in the past and failed. It's a bit of trial and error I'm afraid, until they make the base editor more sophisticated.

It sounds like a bug - best to send a petition or email Customer support directly to get them to check it for you.

You can set the lighting effects for each room manually using the edit functions.

If the Crystals are just for decoration then they should probably light up but I don't remember any of mine doing that.

If they are ones that have a function then they probably need some control or power in the base to make them work.

I can't check as my PC is broken.

heh yep he was quite big on these boards a looooong time ago as Sharp Shot, I tried to get him into the Rangers on several occasions but the [censored] Paragon Allstars had a firm grip on him. Used to team with him alot as Pyrius.

He also had a funny avatar with the location as "on my back" (i think)

Myself (as Pyrius) and Mr Cuddles were the joint leaders of the Armoured Core.

Cuddles came up with the idea and asked me to join him to have a link into the Precision Rangers.

Cuddles hit 50 and went off to CoV to try some new chars and promoted some members to help run the SG (he occasionally changes the SG colours to really random ones to annoy me )

I went into semi-retirement then came back and hit 50 with Pyrius and went back to CoV then back to my PB then back to CoV then my PC went kaput over the new year.

Main (current) leaders are J Brute and Golden Golem, Disco left us for the Paragon somethings (allstars?)

Rocky got really drunk with his cousins over X-Mas and we've only just heard back from him as you can see above Deluge occasionally gets Sulphur out for big Coalition events.

The binding to another key in a macro is interesting but isn't it simpler to just use something like this:-

/bind o "powexec_toggleon Quantum Shield$$powexec_toggleon Shining Shield"
/bind lshift+o "powexec_toggleoff Quantum Shield$$powexec_toggleoff Shining Shield"

Then pressing "o" will turn Shining Shield on, then Quantum Shield the next time it's pressed (assuming neither was on to begin with). Pressing "o" while holding the left shift key will turn both armours off.

Note that such multifunction toggle-ons read from end to front when determining which armour to turn on first. So my girlfriends Ice Tanker Bind reads something like

/bind numpadenter "powexec_toggleon Icicles$$powexec_toggleon Chilling Embrace$$powexec_toggleon Glacial Armor$$powexec_toggleon Wet Ice$$powexec_toggleon Frozen Armor"

i.e. The most essential armours you might need when just rezzed in combat or ambushed go up first. powexec_toggleon is very convenient in this way.

The reason I use macros is because I have loads of alts and always forget which keys I've binded - macros are easier for me to interrogate in-game

Ok Eazy asked me to come up with a bind to turn on his shields with one key so I thought that we could have a thread where we just post all of our useful binds, so here's the shield one I came up with:

type:

/macro 1 "powexec_name Shining Shield$$bind e powexec_tray 2 9"

/macro 2 "powexec_name Quantum Shield$$bind e powexec_tray 1 9"

you'll get a macro called "1" and a macro called "2", move these to slots 1 and 2 in power tray 9.

When you press "e" - shining shield comes on, press it again and quantum shield comes on.

press "e" 2 more times and it switches them off.

If you want the key to just switch them on then use:

/macro 1 "powexec_toggleon Shining Shield$$bind e powexec_tray 2 9"

/macro 2 "powexec_toggleon Quantum Shield$$bind e powexec_tray 1 9"

then press "e" twice

and if you want a key to switch them off:

/macro 1 "powexec_toggleoff Shining Shield$$bind q powexec_tray 2 9"

/macro 2 "powexec_toggleoff Quantum Shield$$bind q powexec_tray 1 9"

press "q" twice.

If you have more shields then you can create a 3rd macro and expand the loop.

Also I found that you can't use the "powexec_auto" command because they aren't auto-click powers (before anyone asks ).

Oh yeah to save time - just copy the macros then paste them into the chat window using "ctrl+v"
