Armoured Core to Hard Core for You

Tought it was bout time we had our own Thread do here it is.

Also with Halo going part time and Mr Cuddles hitting 50 we are looking for new captins. So I need to know who is in the core that use the boards and plays there tank a bit.

Also it would be nice to hear if people are interested in PvP and a base.

I just wanna team with the AC lots at the moment... don't have time to join... oneday sponge will take his rightful place, but for now I'll offer you an open invite to come and hang out with the rangers, it's not like you don;t already

Steel Fusion inv/em tanker already signed in and steadily climbing from lvl 17.

Respeccing Golden Golem is too depressing...

And should I be excited about the fact that Armoured Core are going to Hard Core for me?

How come?

A little bit active with Pink Ember these days, as she edges towards level 27+ .....

I am however always active within the coalition being online with a hero almost all the time

tryin to keep my tank active. tufty will always come first tho

mr cuddles is retired except for special occasions. I can't be bothered trying to work out how to make him good again after the latest round of retarded, thoughtless nerfs disguised as "enhancement diversification".

The more I think about the time I put into getting to 50 the more annoyed I get that my favorite character has now been completely ruined for me.

Thanks devs you have really enhanced my gaming experience!

Just to let you all know I've set up the AC base, but as we didn't have enough Prestige for more rooms - I ahh just bought more furniture - have a look and invite your friends round - see how many heroes we can get in one room before it crashes

I've been trying to encourage everyone to play in supergroup mode.

I've changed the sg emblem and colours to something a bit nicer than black and white so hopefully people will want to use supergroup mode a bit more.

remember every kill in sg mode = prestige for our base

i'm only lvl12 atm so perminately in sg mode.

if peeps r put of the colours remember that u dont actually need to have them on the be in sg mode (altho i'm only gettin bout 6 prestige per kill but every little helps ).. i have my costume exactly the same in or out of sg mode.

also this salvage doodah. do we just hand it all other to pyrius? if collected about 6 bits and dont own CoV so i cant use it.

Same here, I adjusted the suit and now I'm playing in sgmode constantly. Not that I don't like the new colours but I haven't found a good match yet and I like my own suit

p.s. I quite liked the black-and-white combo with the anarchy symbol, am I the only one?

tbh i prefer the A symbol and black and white aswell... altho i dont mind ark blue.

deffinately prefered the old symbol over the new one tho

When I set the supergroup up, I thought to myself "ill worry about the logo and colours later" so I just left it at black and white and the default logo :P

Course I didn't know at the time that you were unable to edit that so we were stuck with it and I thought I'd try for something a bit better

I can put it back to the anarchy symbol and black and white if you guys want - the A symbol does obviously stand for Armoured Core

I like the new colours and the emblem is not too bad - it stands out more than the A.

With regards to salvage - hold onto it for the time being - if you happen to see myself or Cuddles around then just trade it to us. To convert them to useful items we need a control room, power room (which we now have), a generator, a work room and a work table - that's alot of Prestige. So it'll be some time before we'll be able to refine the salvage.

I've been playing around with the base with what Prestige we have, we have a reception room complete with toilets and a reception desk, and a power room with a power amplifier - no generator at the moment as they're pretty pricey. Once we have power we can have a control room and that's where the fun starts with turrets and shields and teleporters

The base editor is pretty easy to use and once you get used to it is quick to use - we just need more prestige. We might have to get together and do a massive herd for more prestige.

Also, rock eagle has been promoted to leader so he can take salvage too.

Spending a month getting from 22 to 43 and choosing power slotting the correct way ( from deciding where your weaknesses are ) and then having to respec just seems too much. I managed to get him into a really solid tank with real staying power. I was really enjoying him and now I can't face seeing what he's like.

I'll be concentrating on other characters for the moment which is a shame because I was really hoping to get him up to 50.

yeah damn nerfs, well with an 8 man tank team that should be a herd of oohh say about 136 perps

I know exactly how you feel mate, I have the same feelings about mr cuddles, although I am just glad I got him to level 50 before the latest round of idiotic nerfs.

Yeah really hating the nerfs here too, my heal fills only a third of my health bar when it used to do a full bar, my attacks are weaker and my defences are also considerably weaker - pretty much need to rely on a def to keep me alive when fighting just one mob

I'm now just a gimped scrapper but without the damage

I think Fire tanks are the worst hit. My resistances aren't as badly hit as yours. I think I go down to about 70% slash/lethal, my others barely change at around 25-30%. Dull Pain will recharge slower, it will no longer be perma . The real hit to my survivability I get is with Invincibility.

How come your heal gets that much worse?
