I was in the mood to vent some of my frustration on a hapless villain/longbow but the servers are down. To bad, I have to say again. Something is wrong with your Unicorns Paragon Studios.

Is it by chance that an arc based on a TV series got chosen for the new DEV choice? By no one less then Doctor Aeon, well known for having written the paper to promote more television on trhe Rogue islands?

I've done the exact same thing when MA started out. Stuck at level 38 though. Hardest task was to find arcs that fit the levelrange I was playing in.

Not really. I think issue 21 will be here soon and that is for free players at least a trial version on steroids.
I am sure your friends can wait one more week. -
I liked GR. It got new shiny art stuff, improved Missions that make better storyarcs, the abiity to switch sides (though I wonder if that is a smart idea) and the whole incarnate business.
It would probably have been better if it was not just level 1-20 though.
Everybody got some good points. But I still liked it. Trope or not, Goatee or not. I am only saddened by the fact that levels 1-20 will be new ghost towns with i21 as nobody will ever play there again. -
I like Redside more then Blueside. The arcs are way way better then those on Blueside. However, if you want to team you need to go blueside. Adding more arcs might work, but even then. What do people do? It used to be newspaper/radio, now it is tips, SFs and of course MA.
Can red side be saved? I doubt it and F2P is not going to help. All people will do is go to the blue side even faster and farm like crazy. I doubt that you will find a living soul in Praetoria soon as well. -
When you move your toon from Zukunft ort Vigilance to another server, something goes wrong with your settings, meaning that your character will be receiving half English/German (French) information.
It looks as if the language is determined by server settings and client settings. I find it hilarious really. Especialy when people go, huh what is happening. But is is an old 'feature' and not likely to change. -

The unmitigated arrogance and "screw you" superiority I saw that day was when a lot of my illusions of the justice system being about justice and judges being fair and impartial were shattered. I'd rather trust my fate to a bunch of average schmoes than a judge any day.
If there's one good thing that came out of it, it is that I learned on a minor traffic violation how rigged the justice system is against people. People complain about how expensive lawyers are, and for the most part, such complaints are justified. However, if I ever have to deal with the system or with law enforcement again in any official capacity, I will have legal representation from a competent lawyer.
In fact, it was used in the defense of a politician on trial by his very shrewd lawyer. It became quite a hype
But our system works out reasonably well and we do have lots of lawyers to represent you when it is needed. -
No it is a slim chance for a costume code for a full day of not playing.
So I spend a few hours waiting in pocket D and watching Ustream talking about not much actually. It is better then not hearing a thing I guess. -
Glad that we don't use juries here but leave the judgement to the professionals who actually dedicated years of their life to learn about the law.

That is twice now that we lose the entire Thursday due to this maintenance. Growing a bit upset here.
Server upgrade ok, a necesary evil. Then an emergency break, Well bad stuff happens. We all make errors, annoying but we'll survive.
But then we do it all over again next week?
There is a limit to patience. -
Of course, then the sellers would offer their services for less real money.
So in the end, I doubt that it will help much and it will antagonize a lot of normal players. -

If that were to happen, then red-side would be a whole new experience for me, because I didn't know about half of these contacts and I've only ever really worked with two, maybe three. Johnny Sonata, Ambassador Khur'Rekt and the Television are the only ones I can think of.

I believe that i21 makes unlocking those contacts easier with the find contact option. i recall getting veluta in the options of possible contacts even without having her unlocked.
Just tried.
The contact finder looks like it works randomly. But When i went to veluta herself she gave me her mission automatically. Looks like the contacts are no longer locked. -
I am very curious about those special arcs. Looks as if they put quite some work in them. Considering how they keep on improving the arcs and the tech about them, I hope to be blown away by them.
About the costume pieces. Nice!
Yes, I like them, I like the male and female version. I don't care if they are not realistic. This is a world where you can fly and shoot lasers from your eye. Where roman warriors fight with succes against modern weaonry.
To be honest, I like being able to play people who are better then life. Including gravity defying chests. Sure in reality, one would get backaches and running, jumping, kicking in high heels is a feat that not many real woman could do with that much succes. But I don't want to play a normal human, I want to be better then the real deal. Trust me, a game about Gunbunny would be boring compared to this.
But if they bring out some of the other excellent barbarian suggestions? I would be even more happy. You never can have enough clothes after all (Well at least when you have an unlimited space like we have here). -
Take a hard look at CoH 1.
There has been a lot of experiments there. Villains, PvP, Arena, Supergroup bases, raids, invasions, taskforces, Co_Op zones, trials, AE, emailing, IO's, trial accounts, going Rogue, Paragon Points,Badges, Merits and all the other reward systems, etc. A lot of things have been invented and after 1 or 2 issues completely ignored. Appearently, something did not work right there.
Look at what worked and what went wrong. Ditch the things that will never work properly and improve those things that you want to keep.
For example: PvP. It is a nightmare to get it right. AE, it is a nghtmare to assure that it is not abused. -

I like your ideas Snow Globe. Perhaps I might be persuaded to do Keyes again with those suggestions in place.
If not, then I doubt that I will ever run Keyes again. If ever a trial was designed to make a so called semi godlike hero feel like the total opposite this is it.
Perhaps fun for tanks, but for squishies? No thanks. -
