    I was wondering if someone could help me please, I have a MA / WP Scrapper and I am wondering where the best place would be to slot Numina's +Regen & +Recovery along with Regenative Tissue +Regen please.     Willpower Brute

    Hi all

    Last night on a SF i got numina's + Regeneration and + Recovery recipe. i now wish to slot this on me willpower Brute but i need to know where the best place would be to place this. i know health is around 40% to regeneration fast healing is around 75% and rise to the challenge is around 125% to regeneration.

    So my stupid question is would it be best placed in Rise To The Challange ?

    No its not this is a legitimate question and as i said not a dig at stalkers in anyway at all.

    I just cant see what my incentive would be to do mission after mission again to earn all that influence to buy all the IO sets to enhance my char when some one who just has normal SO's can hit you just as well anyway, especialy when your in voice with them and their laughing their head off just rub salt in the wound even more. Is it for my own satisfaction of doing the char to the best i can get it? becasue if it is, it isnt worth all the pain and anguish.

    Just for example:

    For Ripper 5 Armageddon = approx 190 million spent
    For quills 6 Scirocco's Dervish = approx 55 million
    For Tactics &amp; FA Gaussians Fire Control X2 lots = approx 40m

    approx just in them 4 powers 285 million spent to increase my accuracy / defence.

    Now some one with just say IOs with now bonuses it would cost them around 25mill to do their whole char. Yet they can still hit me as easy as baking a cake if in some cases even easier.

    Now am i just being pedantic or is there no incentive to the do the IO set bonuses. I may just as well save all my money and transfer it to do new chars and make life a lot easier for myself.

    Just my thought on life in the game thats all !

    I was wondering if anyone can explain the dilemma i face in PvP. I have recently done a SR / Spines scrapper which was fun playing to 50 i must admit. With this i have spent just short of 400mill to increase my accuracy and defence and health, of hard earnt influence for absoloutly nothing it seems. In missions i have no problems at all very happy with the char and as ive allready said fun to play.

    Now when i go in Sirens there is a massive difference i have Manouvers / Tactics + Focused Fighting (perception) &amp; an increased perception IO. Now i have a friend believe it or not honestly i do ! That has a Ninjitsu / Energy Stalker LvL 44 with no bonus sets just normal SO's. He can walk straight up to me AS me, then ET me and splat im dead and i didnt even know he was there. I do know he has Hide + Stealth + Stealth IO, i never see him basicaly till its way to late or if i do see its for a split second and not enough time to get an attack off. The 400mill i spent increasing my melee / Ranged &amp; AoE defence seems pointless as he hits me every time without fail with normal SO's.

    1: Whats the point of spending all that money if someone with no sets at all can just smack some one as easy as baking a cake ?

    2: Whats the point of doing an SR scrapper spending 5million on increased perception IO and still not being able to see one stalker untill he is vitualy on your head?

    So until the answers come i will keep bouncing all over the place looking like Zebadee and wait for a stalker to unstealth himself when he smacks me one for me trouble and hope i get an attack before his hide kicks in again.

    I allready have a Stalker that i have had a while now with Stealth and GI in the build. The reason for the GI is that i always teamed with a friend in Sirens who also had GI in his build,but unfortunatly he has now left the game. So i have created a Spines / Willpower Stalker but i want to know if i can just get away with Hide and a Stealth IO to be invisible from Heros. Instead of putting in the build Hide + Stealth + Stealth IO.

    Or any other suggestions to make me as invis as possible would be very much appreciated please. Thank u all

    Im building my first WS after 27 month in the game . However the thing that has always put me off doing one before now is having the 3 forms and the lack of slots to 6 slot all my powers on all 3 forms. Im just greedy me thinks, but i cant see how we can do the required damage when certain things are only 3 slotted. However i will do this to 50 and i want it for PVE only, so if i could be really cheeky and ask for someone to post a build on here i can copy to 50 would be great. Ive been on the Mids Hero Builder again for the last hour nearly crying of where to put my few slots that i have.     I have a lvl 50 Ice / Energy Tanker and im just getting used to all these IO's and new sets to give added bonuses to our chars. I have decided to fill all my slots with IO's inventions and have chosen Luck of the Gambler as my defence set and for the life of me i cant remember what melee damage set ive chosen. LoL im at work skiving they think im e-mailing clients. Ill have to come back to you on that part anyways. But i was just wondering what other people thought about it and what sets they were going for with their Ice Tank and the reasons why as im a nosey person.

    My mate has a Fire / Rad controller LvL 50 Mad Mac. He has dusted him out of the cupboard but we have both noticed how weak his imps are now. I know they have never been Tanker strength but they could a least take some damage before and as long as u healed them every now and then they were a nice little force to help the controller out. Yet doing Infernal one smack of his axe and they were gone dead burried next ! and fighting the Malta GM a couple of footstomps from him and they again were dead gone burried next! have they been nerfed ?

    If anyone can give him some ideas on how to get them back to having a bit of force behind them again that would be great. Also if someone could tell him what sets to go for as a fire / rad would be great as he is totaly confused with this new enhancement system.

    I am currently building an Energy Melee / Ice Tanker now lvl35. At LvL 42 i will be fighting my mate who is building an Energy Melee / Energy Brute. He is depending on his rage bar being fully up and then build up and then hitting me with ET &amp; TF. He seems to think he will walk all over me.

    Please say this isnt true . Can you give some advice on a build for my tanker and does anyone know of a good weakness of the Energy Brute i can play on and use to my advantage.

  13. Hi just reading all your different view on the ice Tanker and i am presently building an Energy / Ice Tanker myself now at lvl 32. If anyone has a good build for that posting it for me would be much appreciated.

    But one question for you all is Tough and Weave a must for Ice tankers. Especialy Weave as i find it uses loads of Endurance ?

    I would like your thoughts and comments on a new scrapper build please. I would like the scrapper for PvP (Sirens) &amp; as a good mishes player too if at all possible. Im looking at;

    Katana / Dark Armour or Claws / Dark Armour

    So far i have done the Claws / DA and got it to lvl 10, but before i go charging into the high lvls i want to make sure ive gone the right way. The thing that is putting me off is that i dont see many claws scrappers in sirens at all and im worried about my damage potential i will be able to do in later lvls. But two friends of mine have said to stick with it as the Katana is pants for damage. The trouble is i cant keep thinking the sword would be better and give me a better plus to my defence and it looks as if it would be fun to play. Please help me out here im sort of stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea.

    Well i can tell you from my own chars Quills 4 acc 1 end red and 1 damage in it; Death Shroud 3 acc 2 damage 1 end red; Repulsions field 3 end reduc but the power is a joke anyway..... None of them work i have stalkers dancing next to me when i have quills and death shroud on..... You cant slot it wrong lol they just dont work and my Fire tanker blazing Aura again 3 acc and it dont work...... But im going over old ground. Perhaps it would help if i posted screen shots of the stalkers standing next to me having a disco
  17. Is it just me or is Sirens all very one sided for Stalkers now. It seems to me he who moans loudest gets everyone else nerf'd. Even with Perception,Assault &amp; Tactics to see a Stalker with Hide &amp; Stealth on is very hard to do and if he has Grant invis on top of the other two as well, You may as well give up. You have more chance of meeting the Pope than you have of seeing the Stalker.

    So you go for a build that you feel will give you added protection from them:

    Lighting Field - While active, you emit a storm of electricity that constantly damages all nearby foes.

    Blazing Aura - While active, you are surrounded by flames that continuously burn all foes that attempt to enter melee range...

    Repulsion Field - This toggle power creates a field that violently repels nearby foes...

    Death Shroud - You become a focus point for the Netherworld allowing negative energy to seep from your body that will continuously damage all foes in melee range....

    Icicles &amp; Quills - Basically again while active they are meant to damage anyone continuously in melee range..

    Assault - While active you are resistant to taunt &amp; placate ( No it dont )

    Tactics - While active protects from confuse and fear effects ( No it dont )


    None of the above work against stalker's not even if you have Assault &amp; Tactics on. So what is the point of the powers, They should add that they don't work in PvP against stalkers it would save a lot of disapointment for people.

    Also with say Superior Invins on no other concealment power works with it. Yet the good old Stalkers get Hide then they put Stealth on and if they have a team mate with Grant invis their laughing all the way to the bank. No wonder everyone in Sirens is now saying that the Stalkers Pawn and now seeing less and les people in there.

    Perhaps its just me, perhaps im just a moaning old man that cant keep up with you youngsters. Perhaps ive just been playing this game to long and its time for a change
  18. I allready now have a lvl 50 Empathy Defender and now wish to build a Tanker for teaming NOT PvP.

    I am looking to go with Invun / Energy. I wish to know if i build this right, will i be able to hold the aggro for the team at the same time be able to do the damage if need be, if i wish to solo.

    I did try a Stone / SS but didnt like the Granite Armour even with recharge reductions in my 2ndry powers it took years for them to come back even Taunt [img]/uk/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Which is a pain if im soloing.But then again im new to this so it might of been me slotting it all wrong.

    So any advice on a build or other choices i should look at would be appreciated. Basicaly im being greedy i want a tank that would help out a team &amp; at the same time be able to solo without problems and have fun.
