Ok, I'm someone who goes in to the PVP zones both for badges and sometimes for PVP, but that doesn't mean I expect free immunity just because I'm not out picking a fight. Even in Warburg where I risk being attacked by a fellow Villain I accept that this may indeed happen as I leave/enter the villain base. You are given fair warning both entering and during your time there so you should be willing to accept that you are fair game.

Often I'll only attack a badge hunter once, after that its a case of only attacking if they are bounty or start getting in the way. Theres no fun fighting someone who wont fight back (unless they start [censored] like crazy and swearing at me)
[/ QUOTE ]
Well if they start getting really thick about it then I wholeheartedly support attacking them, get them to go away and find something else to do while they grow up a little... -

If lackeying is available for me I'd be up for it, though not sure you'd want yet another MM, if not good luck anyway.
-
Not sure the choice of time was exactly helpful either, as all those of us who work during the day would be unavailable and surely those of you lucky enough to be on school holidays would be mostly out getting some sun, enjoying what little warmth there is in the year? (considering most of us will probably freely admit to being nerds I doubt this second one!

For the very same reason, I'd love to see MMs banished from PvP zones.

I think MM's suffer the worst from overcrowded PVP zones since our pets just stop responding to any commands so have we not suffered enough? -
Don't make me set the horned reaper on you!
Seriously though I think doors could work if kept to the simple principle of friendlys can open and pass through them, unfriendlys cannot. -

Females!?! lol.
I7 has taken way too long and yes its exciting its coming out but after a week see how many of the idle people who come back leave againWatch this space.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hope so, as as I've said elsewhere the server just doesn't seem to be able to handle it at all, though even a week's wait is too long for these fair-weather-friends to be clogging up things on the more regular players IMO.
Still, at least it will pass... -
Then we started killing you guys over and over and drove you back to your hospital
, until Sweet Chilli started with the teledroning that is...

I'd just like to apologise to everyone about not being able to partake but due to whatever was up with my pets I was effectively rendered useless. Hopefully this issue will be fixed before the next event, if not I'll just have to stick to PvPing in the off hours when few people are about.
-
Considering the only part of the 1st Respec that was particularly hard was the ambushes while killing the tree I think I might go this route, I'll lose some of my more recently chosen powers but should still be able to follow the method of just letting my pets attack the tree while I hold back out of range, though the all logging out bar one will be a bit of a nuisance... be well worth it.
Hopefully can get together a team to do this so, get myself kitted out for tomorrow and hopefully take down a fair few more heros. I'll check with anyone who's replied here if they're up for it when I log on later. -
Wait, you mean that if we exemp down and redo the first one it will count as though we'd done the second!?!? That has to be an oversight by the Devs!
If I still get both the Respec and the badge I'd be up for this method as I can earn XP through normal missions anyway. -
That should be fine, don't expect to be home until ~ 7:30-8pm myself.
-
Remember the basics of base building in that:
1. Rent is based off the total prestige value of your SG, not just the base value.
2. You get back the prestige the room/item cost when you sell it.
So there's no advantage to selling now instead of when you've seen what I7 has to offer and decided if you want to get any of the new items.
I7 will not reset your base/prestige, you should keep it all.
You will lose the prestige earned in an SG if the SG gets deleted though. -
I'm interested in doing the second Respec tonight/perhaps tomorrow evening so as to change the order I took various powers (i.e. shift the more PvP useful ones to pre-30 choices) and spec out some now redundant ones, is anyone else interested in doing the second respec/willing to help out with it?

In spite of the issues my Laptop seems to have with any screen featuring more than ~ 3 players using powers I'll (with Gravecall) see if I can put in a showing (best stick to remote MMing though me thinks), plan to spend much of the weekend badgehunting though (then again beat another 8 heros and I'll get a badge anyway... /em rubs hands and cackles
).

In spite of playing a MM I decided to swing by on Saturday, was a little late (~7:30ish), managed 2 kills before my laptop just couldn't handle the graphics of all the players and I started getting killed anytime I went near a big group, then it just completely froze and disconnected...
Definitely have to get a 3000+ range laptop if I'm going to have a hope at playing Warburg and Recluse's Victory...
Might have to see how a non-MM handles it since there'd be less graphics due to no pets...
I'm also still left thinking that bodyguard isn't going to cut it since (short of group fly and such) it'd require traveling on the ground at normal sprint speeds, the words "sitting duck" spring to mind. -
Thought that that was just a bug and Villains weren't supposed to be able to get it? Either way, I don't mind, usually have to kill them first before focusing on Sharktooth anyway as otherwise they just pummel me while ignoring my pets.
PS- love the sig Lord_Kalistoh! -
Is there a limit to how much the storage points can hold? Can they go in any room (other than the entrance)? Think I'll definitely have to get some either way but I'm just curious.

can i join with my tanker?

You'd probably need to exemp/malfactor but if any others who're doing it are fine with it I don't mind. I think if you add me to your global friends it should let you see when I'm on. I already have the badge so it doesn't matter to me and debt won't bug me too much (sure repaying it'll help towards another badge if I remember right). -
Remember reading posts recently of people trying to get this so thought I'd let people know that I found out last night that I'm still being offered the mission (only on Gravecall though) to get this, so if anyone is on over the weekend, wants to try for this and spots me on, I'll grab the mission and we can have a crack at it. Judging by the contact bar (the little blue bar that fills as you complete the content for the contact) I will probably only get offered it 1-3 times more so you'd want to have already done it at least twice, to get the badge, so you'll probably have to find someone else who's still being offered it.

Ah, I see, hmm... think I'll still try go for the workbench too, like any proper villain my greed and delusions of self grandeur shall be my downfall.

A functional I7 base requires no energy or control - just a workshop, then the storage items and buff creator (which can process Salvage).
[/ QUOTE ]
Em, I thought the workbench did require some control and energy to operate? -
I'm the other way around, have the generator, just need the prestige for the control (unfortunately thought I might get away with one of the cheapist 30K/32K control bits), so another while yet before I can build a workshop and start enjoying base functionality. The need for more prestige (need ~90K for control, then can save for the workshop and workbench, assuming I don't spend too much on the storage gear from I7) has motivated me to put my alt-itis into remission for the moment though so Gravecall can farm as much prestige as possible, might get near lv 40 before I7 afterall.
-
Weird addy for that...
CoX and physiotherapy.... ... ... ... nope can't see the connection...
Sweet list though, just have to wait to get a functioning workshop now... -
How come you suddenly become visible to the other enemies in the group though, even though you're supposedly still stealthed? Means you must be getting some sort of agro surely?
