Quote:Also, as it's no longer a mirror universe, she'll probably keep the same followers, so both she and Ms Liberty would be in command of an army of gimps. With all of the Praetorians being given new looks for GR I can't wait to see Domi's new outfit.
Also, am I the only one who thinks she deserves a cooler powerset than Gravity? Throwing furniture at people is just odd (especially when you're outdoors) and now that there's going to be a whip animation... -
Quote:In that case, my guess that her mother rejected Tyrant after he killed Recluse, and married someone else, which produced Domi, and then Tyrant got into a relationship with her as a way of getting back at her mother, and being with the likeness of her mother at the same time probably won't happen - looks like the devs want to keep it as gross as possibleAt HeroCon they said something like, "We're tiptoeing around that relationship as carefully as we can". I think they want to keep it as canon, but want to be subtle about it.

But wouldn't that mean having to make a unique map for every single building in all the new zones? That's sounds kinda like a bit too much work...

Nothing's been said yet about the Rogue Isles on Praetoria, as far as I know.

The Praetorian Police might have a database that Loyalists can check out for missions against threats to Tyrant.

Quote:I played it solo yesterday - the EBs weren't too hardAfter seeing a comment calling the last mission "just flat out crazy" (a turn of phrase that's entered my pattern of speech now), I have tested the mission as it stands as a Dev's Choice selection. Apparently, when they "flipped the switch" on Dev's Choice for the arc, something corrupted in the file that controls the critters that spawn in the final mission. As such, the last mission spawns only one type of mob rather than the "combined group" I set up using customized standard critters and one special EB. Unfortunately, that one type happens to be the special EB... in every group. At sufficently low settings, it is "just" a boss, but that's still a very difficult row to hoe when there's three or more of them in a single spawn. I had a feeling this is what had happened as a previous patch had done something similar to the same mission. The oddest thign is, if I remove all my local AE files, then save a copy of the Dev Choice version and run a test on it, it functions properly, only the live version has the error.

I think we can all agree that regardless of the quality of the graphics, a game has to have moving hair to be properly successful.

I wonder what the Praetorian symbol will be? I'm sure it'll be available for costume parts too - in fact, a while back, I suggested a Praetorian booster pack

Quote:You only need to rule with an iron fist if people are unwilling to be ruledSo, for discussion sake, if there was a theoretical country that was ruled by a dictator with an iron fist, but the citizens weren't persecuted, no one was hungry and they could engage in art and research and such without retribution. The only catch was they could not seek to govern themselves, that such a system would be inherently evil?

Which is why I'd suggest that Rogues can't enter PvP zones as Heroes, and Vigilantes can't enter them as Villains - an in-game explaination could be that Longbow wouldn't trust a Rogue enough to let them in, and Arachnos wouldn't trust a Vigilante.

Quote:But it isn'tI'm sad because I want it to be an exploration on how everything is simultaneously Good and Evil, based on how you sell it.

It doesn't matter how evil people sell their views - they're still evil - which is why there will be an arc or TF in Praetoria where we punch Tyrant - a lot

Quote:They're not going to be that ambiguous - just check out their names and outfits for a start - they're evilThere is a huge space of story to be opened up by having the Preatorians be ambiguous rather than the Goatee versions. I am looking forward to it.

I'm sure they'll appear less evil at first, but as we uncover the truth abvout Tyrant, they'll seem less and less hugglesome
