That's what made me bring it up, plus it was on my mind for awhile. Sorry if this is too out of place.
Endgame content is the Incarnate system, for making 50s more powerful - it has nothing to do with ending the game

You can - all 4 Fitness powers will be fully slottable.

They mean that the vast majority of side switching has been from Villain to Hero.
  5. I use all 4 Fitness powers right now, so I'm planning to taking 4 new ones - not sure which ones, though - I'd like Superjump, but I'm not sold on the animation

Well, a lot of it is stuff that was intended for GR, but was removed to get a little more work done on it, so a lot of I19 was actaully ready when GR was.
  7. Maybe something to do with Tip missions and the general idea of side switching?
  8. You should contact them and ask them to fix the errors in their article

I still think they did a good job on making Praetoria pretty grey myself. And heck, it's still really well designed
It's also the reason why the final missions are kinda muddled and weird - "you're a jackbooted enforcer of a nightmare dictatorship, so you might like to go to Primal Earth to show them that we're good people"/"You're an evil anarchist who blows up random civilians and feeds defenseless prisoners to the Ghouls, so you might like to go to Primal Earth to show them that we're good people".

What she actually said was that the original design was loyalists = Villains, Resistance = Heroes, but later on they decided to try and add some gray by dividing both sides into two sub-factions.
Although that didn't really work very well, as they didn't dial back the evil of the dictatorship enough to make the idea of fighting it a morally gray idea.
I'm not sure how late in the design process they decided to try and add the gray either, as during the early part of the closed beta, loyalists were getting the red side mission completed music, and only had access to red side titles, while the Resistance were getting the blue side mission completed music and access to the blue side titles, so the alpha build seems to have been designed around the original idea.
The late attempt to add gray to the setting is also the reason why the moral choices in Praetoria don't actually have any consequences - originally, they were set up to act just like the Tip missions, with the loyalist choice taking you to the evil side, and the Resisatnce choice taking you to the good side, with a final moral choice mission at 20 to deicde if you'd go blue side or red side - it was sort of like a gigantic Tip mission chain 1-20, which would then blend in with the normal Tip mission chains 20-50.
  11. A couple of major mistakes there - Praetoria is not used for the side switching system, and the factions within factions thing was done to try and add some gray to the original good vs evil set up in Praetoria

  14. Yes - some people seem to get confused by the term "underwater"

At least in the Isles, I can work for the mob, work for the Circle, work for the Freakshow and, yes, even work for myself via Dean McArthur and Leonard. It was all railroading, but at least I felt I had a choice, because ultimately, it didn't matter who I worked for.
You did read the background info and various dev interviews and Q&A panels since GR was first announced, didn't you?

And the fact that you managed to find a more than four-year-old GDC article where the term "quest" is used doesn't change that it's primarily relegated to the fantasy genre, despite the terms being fairly interchangeable as far as meaning.
I think "task" is a nice neutral word - "quest" is fantasy, and "mission" is modern/sci-fi.
  19. Welcome home

EDIT: And going by your forum avatar, you might be please to know that the mutant booster pack includes a wolf tail
  20. I managed to hear most of it
  21. Well, before it was removed from the GR closed beta, the alpha slot was tied to the Menders lore - the contact at Ouroboros who told you about the slot was claled Mender Ramiel, and part of his text hinted at the Coming Storm.

I hope Ramiel shows up again in I19 - he had some rather cool sci-fi shades

  23. But it's not their fault they're brainwashed zombies - they're innocent, so they shouldn't be targeted in the fight to destroy the dictatorship - they're victims, not enemies.
