I liked the GR trailer - it was short, but gave a good idea of what to expect.

Quote:On the one I ran last night, our kin crashed after the 2nd mission, so our stone tank was kinda slow for the rest if itWell, I can tell you this. Our STF ran fine with a less than optimum team. Tank was a pre-50, as were a few others. But we handled it without a debuffer, and using a Kin for heals (which was fun for the Kin while missing a lot on Recluse). Everything went fine, and alpha was made after run was done and exited.

Aww, ok - I was looking for something like Statesman's faceplate as an .obj file - I've not managed to teach myself that part of 3D modelling yet
-
I think it'll all be handed out at the same time - it's probably easier for them to do it that way.

By the way, I'm pretty sure PAX East was the place they said they were going to discuss the Praetorian Hamidon at - so maybe there's going to be some kind of Incarnate Hamidon raid?

Well, next week it looks like it's the ITF, which you can all run at +1 too

Quote:You only need to be subbed for the period - they're not that cruelSo do they mean your account needs to be active and paid for for the entire period, or do you need to play every day as well? Cause, that'd be pretty crazy. I don't always play, but I always pay.

Apparently, it's not only crafting that can cause the crash - if anyone on the team is already running at +1, it can have the same effect.

For the same reason that people bother with IO sets and purples, which, just like Alpha Tiers 2, 3 and 4, are also totally optional.
-
Don't forget that by the time the STF comes around again as the WST, a lot of people will be +1 by then.

Quote:Mo = "Master of" - allowing one or more level shifts for those would make them really rather easy.I recognize that I usually can't understand a word coming out of your mouth, but this statement is doubly-so.
Beating up a gray conning Recluse and his henchpeople might be fun, but it'd make the idea behind the Mo badges pointless. -
Quote:You don't really have to be "uber" or "l337" to spend 60-90 minutes running a TFIt's extremely disheartening to find out that after all the years of effort and energy I put into this game and my characters, I'm basically excluded from portions of the end-game system because I'm not “uber” or “1337” enough.

See aboveQuote:if we want to participate we need to LEARN2TEAM and spend all of our spare time playing because there is no life outside of CoX.

Would catgirls count as purrverts?

He's a supervillain - he has to detail his plans to his enemies
-
Jack is a big Lovecraft fan - which can be seen in the art direction of CO - so he might have wanted to have the game set in "Lovecraft Country".

Because the creators of Batman wanted to make a "street level" character to do more pulp detective style stories rather than battles with cosmic scale villains?
-
If we didn't know better, it might almost seem like the devs knew what they were doing.

I thought it was more to do with Batman not even being in the same league as Superman, so he had to fight less powerful enemies to reflect his inferior power status compared to Superman?
And a criminal is a cirminal, regardless of their "class" - the Joker is still a danger to society, no matter how much money he has.
