Quote:I prefer the real stuff we haveAnything I came up with would require a mass retcon of nearly everything after i10. The ITF could stay nearly mechanically identical, but I'd give it a point, and tie it to the Path of the Dark. Ouroboros would stay, but they wouldn't be trying to change the future anymore. They'd be observers of the past. I would establish how time travel actually works in the game universe, and stick to it. Silos would have to go. Origin of Power would go. Mercedes Sheldon....is completely irrelevant. She can stay because nobody cares. Darrin Wade would stay. The Lost cure would go. The clone and evil twin arcs would be rewritten. The Barracuda SF would be chopped to pieces, thrown into a deep pit, boiled in oil, and killed with fire.
Most importantly, the Well would go back to being just a "hotline to the gods"....and the gods saw what Statesman and Recluse are doing with all their god-given power and said "um, no. We're not doing that anymore. You found the Well, I guess that's an accomplishment, here's a buff. Now go out and earn your own damn godlike power. We aren't giving you anything. Really, it's better that way."

Quote:The body-count for enslaving the entire multiverse would be pretty highOne who will sacrifice countless innocents JUST so he can depose his former friend

There are people surviving outside Praetoria CityQuote:the only remaining safe city in the world?
There wasn't anything of substance to respond to - just more of the usual stiff-armer nonsense from the "Heil Cole" stormtroopersQuote:Entertaining how you ADHD'd out and weren't able to respond with any substance to anything I said.
Just like planning to enslave the multiverse and exterminate all superpowered people - even if he doesn't get it doneQuote:That dude wanted to blow up a hospital! Who cares that he didn't get it done, his reasons for not getting it done are are only slightly less disturbed as his reasons for suggesting it in the first place.

Welcome to the game and the forums

As the missions in CoH are mostly on separate instanced maps, there can often be several teams in a zone, but they're all on the separate misison maps, and they won't show up on a zone search, so joining the global chat channel is a very good way of keeping in touch with others on the sevrers, no matter what zone or map they happen to be on. -

Well, the Halloween Tip mission isn't an alignment one - and the new red side TF in I20 can only be unlocked by getting a special Tip drop - so I think they might be looking at other ways to use the tip system.

I've just registered and bookmarked the page - I'll so be watching this

Quote:Not gonna happen1. The classic GG/Batman complex of "Don't kill the bad guys!" "Everybody should get a (another) chance!" Some day GG you will have to bend your morals or break, I just hope its caught on camera. Failing that I'll make you watch Boondock Saints on repeat a few hundred times.

I hope it could work both ways - either for someone who's just started playing, or as a way of showing a non-player that the game is fun - or even as something to be read while waiting for the game to download/installQuote:Gameplay/Game would distinction. It needs to be clear what for and when you intended a person to read this comic. Did you see them finding the comic first and then picking up the game? Or did you see it as "Here is another way to 'see' the game." after a newbie had been playing for a week or so?

Quote:I think it's just frustration at being born 100 years too lateHonestly, you use terms like "immature" and "pre-adolescent" in ways to minimize those who have a different value system than you. It's laughable because such tactics truly condemn your beliefs to the moniker you choose for others.

Rather than lifting debris to rescue someone, which would need a whole new mechanic to make it work, I think it'd be easier if they flagged the injured people as hostages, only using the dead/unconscious emote instead of the scared one, and then made the "guards" be destructable debris/rubble - "defeating" it would release the injured person.

I wonder what Bobcat thought about Neuron's design choices for it?
