Interestingly, in the post-Incarnate world, the Reichsman TF could now be interpreted as him attmepting to gain Incarnate power from the other Marcus Coles as a way to escape the control of the Well, rather than the vague "powering up" motivation that the text suggests.

I think it'd be pretty cool if I23 had a revamp of all the Freedom Phalanx TFs to reflect the new situations in the game world - Positron takes over a revamped STF, Penny Yin gives a new TF in the same range as Sister Psyche's TF, Citadel's TF deals with the Council-5th Column war, and so on.
-
They left it in the patch notes too
I like the idea of mini-arcs that tie into Trials - one way of making sure players know it's team content would be to have big red warning text in the mission briefing, telling them that the arc would lead to a Trial, and was unable to be done solo, to avoid people starting it and then finding out that they couldn't complete it on their own. -
The Phalanx being eaten could be added as a cutscene at the start of the Trial.

I think that Mot should be viewed as similar to the Hamidon - an entity that's tied to the world itself, and can't be destroyed - in Mot's case, as long as death exists, he will exist too.

Apart from Domi's personal mission, the rest of the DA story arcs are very well put together to give a satisfying conclusion without letting letting you know that you've not experienced the whole DA storyline.

The lighting for the whole zone plays a big role in creating the atmosphere, I think - in a way, it kinda replaces the fog - the subtle coloring creates a slightly unreal look to everything, as if you're inside a dream/nightmare.
-
A warning to strict soloers who like story resolution - do not play Domiatrix's personal story mission - it undermines the apparent success you've had in her story arc, and sets up a major plot point that isn't resolved until the DD Trial.

This does sound like it could be a bug, or an oversight.

The gap's too big now, so I'd suggest dropping a few votes on Vindictus and Runes of Magic, just for fun
-
That's very cool - I like the way that the sky turns darker as it gets closer to the villain

Quote:Licensed fan fiction just doesn't have the same attraction as the real thingThis argument was stupid when it was used in reference to Knights of the Old Republic 12 years ago, and it's still stupid now.
Actually, the other arguments in your post are pretty stupid too. -

It's not an option right now, but the devs know it's been requested.

I think the picture is cool - the pose is very heroic - but the lack of even a Training Enhancement slotted downstairs does kinda catch the eye

Congratulations! These in-game-to-real-life romances are always epic

Quote:That's one of the major problems with using fake Star Wars to try and sell the game - to score big sub numbers, they need to attract very casual gamers/non-gamers, in the way that WoW became a game for people who don't really play games - but to achieve that kind of breakout success, they'd need real Star Wars as a selling point, because the movies are the reference point everyone thinks of when they hear the name Star Wars.To some degree that's true, but there's still the question of when does a dev team go along with the concept, and when are they willing to significantly modify it to fit their game design requirements. For example, does anyone think that the vast majority of potential players for a hypothetical Star Wars MMO envision Jedi wearing armor? Even if there are examples of that in the expanded universe, there's no question in my mind that the armor came first, and the justification for the armor came later.
Using the name creates an expectation that the game can't fulfill - there's nothing genuinely Star Wars about it at all. -

I left my Judgement slot empty until this came out - all the other attacks seemed kinda weird for my style

Quote:I think that's all down to his arrogance - he thinks he's so special - plus he has an obsession with loyalty. Now the highlighted parts always bugged me.
Military organizations tend to expressly tell you when you get into those sorts of things, 'if you are caught, captured, or in any way compromised, we will disavow your existence and association with us'
Even if they don't say it, you're supposed to know that the 'super-secret, off-the-books' line of work means "YOU GET CAPTURED, YOU ARE DEAD TO US."
And instead of accepting it, Maelstrom whined like a little b@#$%, got all emo, and grew out a non-regulatory haircut. -
