First thought, love that I can use the boat now as an interactive feature.

Love the new apartment style skin.

Love love the new atmosphere in DA. It seems the devs are beginning to take the game into a less campy happy lets save the day story lines and more into dark we actually kill not defeat people.

The detail in DA is downright unsettling. When I was running around in there filming my trailer, just before I was done, I found something I'd never seen in there before, and it so freaked me out I had to stop playing.

Never mind the screams... the fog in Moth Cemetery... the sigils against the darkness... the faces in the War Walls...

But when my character found an abandoned baby carriage right outside the gates to the cemetery... if she could have, she would have sat right down on the ground and cried.

The lighting for the whole zone plays a big role in creating the atmosphere, I think - in a way, it kinda replaces the fog - the subtle coloring creates a slightly unreal look to everything, as if you're inside a dream/nightmare.

It even extends into the missions. The first couple of arcs I played I thought about turning up the gamma, because I couldn't see anything. I finally decided I'd muddle through, since my gamma is already higher than some people play at.

oooooooohh, creepy, good thing I didn't see that or that's probably exactly what I woulda done. I think it goes along with Mot undermining everyone's confidence and taking away their will to live. But my main is a /WP brute hero, and I got places to go, things to do and villain-types to defeat.

I had to design a version of my costume that did not include the steampunk backpack because the combination of low light, fog in the missions and smoke from the backpack made it very difficult to see anything. There were multiple times where I actually ran right past mobs that I couldn't see. Luckily, on my Bots/Traps MM an ambush just means I actually have time to shoot my laser gun a couple times before everything dies.
