  1. Light and Sound - Illusion/Sonic.

    Or Human form PB.

    And of course just Energy whether it's Blaster, Defender, Tank, Scrapper, etc.

    I've messed with all of them for light based powers.
  2. This is my first Stalker that I plan to stick with in the last 6 years or so.

    I'm currently playing the Stalker at level 14 and enjoy Spines/Regen but I know status effects will be a problem later and I've always enjoyed WP for that protection. I know it plays differently with Stalkers tho so I was curious about:

    Which causes most redraws? Does it matter much with Spines?
    I don't plan to PvP much so what's best out of the two in PvE?

    If it matters, the concept is reptilian mutant (so almost did Claws but I hear Claws - not all that hot for Stalkers) so the /Regen definitely fits conceptually.

  4. I actually was thinking about this the other day. That they should be repurposed somehow for something useful. Wasn't sure what but I do feel that they could be cool.. somehow. :P

    That would have to be an option. It'd be silly to take away something that has been accepted as part of the VEAT for so long. I actually picked a Crab BECAUSE of the animation. Different strokes for different folks. :P
  7. Hopefully this is the right thread - I would really, really love an alternate animation for Hurl in the Earth Assault Dominator (or all variants of Hurl) that did the Propel Boulder animation. I realize the timing would have to be tweaked to make the animation speed as fast as Hurl but I would really, really love a more mystically inclined option to throw a boulder at someone rather than a super strength looking animation.

    Also I would love to see a more mystically inclined option for the Healing power pool so we have tech and mystic options. I skip that power so often on so many toons because it doesn't fit the look/theme of the concept.

    I totally agree with this. Some of my costumes are ruined due to this procedure but there is such worse clipping out there that I don't understand why some things got ripped out and others got put in. Clipping will suck on some costumes but it works on others - I think it's a losing battle to always be on the look out as an artist to take away every combination of clipping there is. It's easier on everyone involved to allow it and embrace it.

    And I want my skull belt back. ;P

    This! I was about to post this. Of course, no screenshots - it's hard to have screenies of things that went missing years ago. But this and the Monster Fur shoulders and Monster Fur legs for females would be nice. We have them for male and huge but not female models.

    Also this option was taken out but I would love to see it back since clipping issues have been ignored (and for good reason - it works sometimes!) in more recent belt options but I'd love to see the Small Fanged Skull and Skull Belts added back to Jacket options. They were taken out so my character can't ever go back to the Tailor if I don't want to lose his belt. In this particular case I love to use it as a skull belt buckle! It's reverse of the other problem - Female toons still have this option. Male and Huge do not.


  13. Virtue is one of the servers that still has a population. I gather that if you came back to a different server than Virtue or Freedom you probably would have seen a lot less people. =/

    But they're making GR to bring in new players tho they probably wouldn't be in Atlas or Mercy that much but in the GR zones for 1-20.
  14. Welcome back! Virtue hasn't changed much - I speak from experience of taking a 6 month break and coming back recently. That's a good thing tho. Mostly.

    The game itself is better than ever. Graphic upgrades, power proliferation and the upcoming going rogue system is keeping the game fresh in my opinion. So many options coming up! And the booster packs are kinda neat too.

  17. Ooo! I love Russian characters. I wish there was a RPVG on Virtue with them. Here is mine - Soviette. I'm probably going to reroll her as a Brute in GR or whenever Brutes get BS or MA. She has MA/SD right now as a Soviet version of Captain America of course but I'm toying with the idea of giving her a Khopesh for the sickle and the shield for the hammer. In the end, I'd like to take her as a Brute to blue side.

    I was just making costumes on Test for the pack this week and was looking at new toons to make just for the pack. I'd bust out a Spines for the first time -ever- if there was a matching Organic Spines set. Same with Claws.. well - it'd not be my first Claws ever in this case - but I'd sure as heck make one.

    This. I can understand the original comment about conceptually MA wouldn't be for Brutes but there are plenty of conceptual reasons it could be too. Depends on how you look at it.

    I really do wish they would fix the seams at least. The head and feet are the worst in the pack. Love the pack but please fix the seams.

    Illusion for Doms and some sort of Dark Control and Dark Blast for Doms as well.

    That's my issue with it.

    Again - I plan to buy the pack regardless. I don't have the fortitude to make a stand on any sort of principle not to buy it! But I think it just should be included with the other free tails. Anything above and beyond in a Beast Pack - make us pay for that (and I will - gladly).
