  2. Just because a character is an Incarnate doesn't make them a god, it just makes them better than they were before.

My Claws/SR is a Natural character. She started with homemade claws and the training and perception to see things slowed down when danger is about and her adrenaline starts flowing. As she leveled, she outgrew the street-crime fighting and moved onto higher level targets in her personal war against crime.
Can she solo an AV? Yes. Does that make her a god? No.

It makes her a highly trained crime-fighter. I view her Incarnate powers as newly discovered abilities from her months and years of fighting crime day-in and day-out.
  3. Mine's slightly different, more focus on End recovery and health, but yours has higher defenses, so it looks fine to me.

  4. What I heard was that it's going to focus completely on Sam's last day in the Navy.

Still, I can't wait to see it.

Yeah. I'm getting to the point where I don't even bother to see what new stuff is coming out. That way I can just watch it season by season.
  6. Impressive!

    Big congrats!

What makes you think they're false names? They could be their real names.

I went to High School with a guy named Ronald Reagan. In our graduating class, and this is an area with a population of about half a million, was a Jay Karnes (name of an actor known for his roles in 'The Shield', 'Burn Notice' and now 'V',) Shawn Mullins (name of a musician who's one hit was 'Rockabye' in the early '90s,) and Robin Williams.

All famous or semi-famous names, yet not a single one of them was the person their name invokes.

And I once worked with a chef named Tony Stark.
  8. I should have said "reinstalling" instead of formatting. Sorry for the misinformation.

Then again, I had nothing but problems with Vista. 7 pro has been smooth sailing.

But thanks for the advice - I've been planning on formatting and starting over with Windows 7 at some point anyways, just need to check with my wife about what on the computer is required to hang onto.
Well one of the great things about formatting with Windows 7 is it makes a folder called WindowsOld and saves your old stuff.

I don't know if it would do that going from Vista to 7 though.

  10. That's insane. Good luck all. Be safe.
  11. Yeah, when I logged in last night after updating, I thought the game had crashed as well.

It happens on my computer and @Anasthesia's as well.
  12. Same here.

My claws/sr is my go-to character for any 50+ content, and I never have a problem.

    The Cape 1-31-11

Just read the initial order for the show has been cut from 13 to 10 episodes.

Not a good sign for season 2.

I liked Dice a lot. Reminded me of Longshot. I also like Summer with longer hair.

Tracy's manerisms as a child at the beginning of the show kind of reminded me of Summer's speaking cadence.
  17. As someone who has lived in 16 states, and three different countries (and been exposed to many more through movies and television), I can say there's not a part of Paragon, The Rogue Isles, or Praetoria that doesn't remind me of somewhere I've lived or seen.

    DB or Kat?

    Personally, I love my kat/wp.

When DB first came out, I played it to about 30 and got bored with it, but that's just my opinion. I know dozens of people who love their DB characters.

I loved my Kat from 1-50, and /WP is a solid set.

  22. Honestly, even before inherent Fitness, when my builds were so tight I couldn't, and most times wouldn't, take a travel power (which I still don't untill I absolutely run out of useful powers to take) I bunny hopped everywhere. And I still do.

Maybe it's something leftover my FPS gaming days, but it's a lot more fun in this game. Toggle on Sprint and jump away! I usually do it while singing "The Gummi Bears" theme song.
