    I did as well.

I do hope they find Sophia and resolve the storyline with her or get past it. They're near Fairburn, GA. She's probably at the Renaissance Festival grounds.

Come to think of it, the Newcastle grounds at the Georgia Renaissance Festival would be an excellent place to hold off a horde. The main gate alone, with the huge castle exterior should be easy defensible. And there's a bunch of houses and apartments across the road. Probably lots of guns, ammo and supplies there.

Off to write up Zombie Plan #39!
  2. Okay, having just rewatched Episode 1 and then watching Episode 2 of OUAT I liked it much more than I did the first viewing.

I'll be keeping up with both shows, for sure.

Especially if Grimm comes up with a smoking hot version of Red Riding Hood, like Ruby from OUAT.

I could hear Howard Finkle saying that as I read it.

I wanted to try one, but got scared off by the thought that the sleep field couldn't resleep my victims because the Damage Over Time was working on them.

That said, I have a Electric/Psi who is great fun, and, with her, I can can drain and keep my victims drained all the way to zero. I also have a Elec/Earth, and it is fun and effective, but it is the /Psi I keep going back to...right now though my baby is a Street Justice/Willpower Brute. I am totally enchanted with it.

    Again, Welcome

    Lisa.
I don't know, Lisa. I've played Earth/Thorns to about the mid-20's a couple of times and I get bored with it, so haven't paid attention. Not saying it's a bad set, or that other people wouldn't enjoy it, I've just never been a fan of ranged combat. I prefer up close and personal, hence my fiancee's quote in my sig.

At the moment, I have 5 50's, 1 40 and 1 38. Four of the 50's are scrappers. So is the 38 (my only surviving redside character). My other 50 is my Warshade, and the 40 is my DP/MM blaster. After those two hit 50, it's on to Titan Weapon and Staff Fighting (as soon as those come out!)

Edit: Just wanted to add to the conversation, if you know anything about "The Destroyer" novels, the monk class in D&D was based on Chiun and Remo.

    K Bai!

Good luck and thanks for serving!
  6. I felt just the opposite. I found Once to be slow and boring, the main character didn't interest me at all and the whole show dragged on and on.

Grimm was a bit more my style.

Still, neither one was all that great, not awful, just not great.

But I've enjoyed the Haunted House trial so much I made a video of it.
That was one thing I thought of as well, but we've had all four outside and he still hasn't spawned. Unless all you have to do is touch the doors or the steps or something, which could flag Black Whip not to spawn.

Which is why I said, "quite probably not" in my post. For some reason, he doesn't always spawn. I have yet to figure out why.

Hey now, In Living Color was awesome.

Don't get me started on how a certain comedian took all of Antoine's bits for one of his characters.

Nope. Never done that, at least twice on each character I have ever made. And I definately did not do it Tuesday night. ~whistles~

Ah well, I'd watch it anyway if we even got MTV here, but I'm not payin' for a channel I'd never watch for any other reason.
    Just wait for the DVDs!

I thought that only happened to me, Steelclaw. It seems I am not alone. Maybe Dark_Respite, yourself and I should start a "Used A Yellow And Missed" support group.

Yep, he's a boss at the start of the thing. Not really worth anything but XP that I've seen so far. However my friends and I think that if someone on the team is in the Trial for the first time, you can't spawn him.

That may or may not be true, quite probably not, but it seems we can only get Black Whip to spawn when all 4 team members have run through the house at least once.

as a matter of fact, an old old wrestler named Junk Yard Dog was a friend of a family member of mine. Met him twice, nicest damned guy you ever wanted to meet, but that still wasn't even close to enough to make me watch wrestling.

Like I said, I get to hang out after the shows. Which implies fan to me.

I've been a fan of pro wrestling for years, since I was about 8 or so. My first show was when I was 3 days old. Been watching it since then, some 40 years, 3 months and 4 days later.

My mom went to High School with Rosey Greer. He made me an afghan, and babysitted me a few times, but I still cannot sit through a football game without getting bored.

So I agree, knowing them personally is not the same as being a fan, just that you misread my post. If I'm willing to hang around after the show, implying that 1) I go to shows and 2) I hang around afterwards, I am a fan.

    Edited for spelling error.
  16. I was excited to see this until I saw it was a SyFy production.

Hopefully Universal can make it a good film without SyFy stepping all over it.

    First after a red-named, yay!

Anyway, yes, I've always tried to help out people in anyway I can. But last night I got called a troll for sending a player a Statesman Mask.

I was told that I was using the Help Channel for "unintended purposes" and I was being put on /ignore for using the Help Channel to actually help.

Admittedly, the person I sent the Mask to, immediately went back to whining about needing Halloween salvage and was "pumping my stress ball so I don't get angry!" to the people that were trying to help him out.

But yeah, ignored for 'unintended purposes' for sending a new player an item he wanted.

I know a lot of pro wrestlers.

It's really funny to be one of those lucky people who gets to hang out after the show and get to see the 'Evil Big Bad Dude" (ie, heels) selling Girl Scout Cookies for his little girl. And the face characters buying them.

http://nwaanarchy.net/ films just down the street from where I work, and they come in to my restaurant after every show.
  19. I liked the new show, but it seemed kind of lacking. It may have been myself personally, since I used to watch B&B during the height of the grunge era while I was in college, and the height of B&B as well.

Still, it was hilarious to hear them troll on "Jersey Shore" and "Twilight" since I wonder how anyone can enjoy either of those properties.

    And, on a serious note...

WTF kind of parent lets their kid be in that kind of video? Especially when the kid is 2 or 3 at most? Seriously? I don't have kids, @Anasthesia and I don't want kids, but I am at a loss as to what kind of people would give their toddler that kind of emotional damage for a few thousand (if that) dollars.

I don't think it would be so much a build as anyone playing any AT they've always wanted to try out but never wanted to bother levelling using it as such.

As an aside, and I am so sorry I bring this up but I'm in a good mood before work tonight, but I thought the "I Win" button had been around for quite awhile. I've called it Willpower for years.

  21. I think the main thing about AHS is there are not any real heroes. 4 episodes in, and I like the show, but there's not a single character I can identify with as being a good person.

Yes, Tate may have been the Gimp in that one instance, but I doubt Tate was the Gimp in that scene with Connie Britton. Also, it's implied that she, Chad, and Violet all see the Gimp in different ways. I think the Gimp is the personification of the house, and the one thing the main characters, and the viewers, can perceive as the Generic force that we can all love/hate.

We've seen how everyone else in the show has been a jerk, at least once. Even Violet setting up the bully for the showdown in the basement with Tate, but the Gimp has only been seen when someone is in an emotional crisis, ie, Connie's character in afterglow, Chad when freaked out about the fact that if they don't sell the house they have no money, and Violet when Burned Guy (aka Russell from 'True Blood') is slamming on the door demanding his cash for killing Hayden while she (Violet) is home alone.

I think the Gimp is like 'The Shrike' in Dan Simmon's "Hyperion" novels. He may be good, he may be bad, but it's all perspective, and something to focus your wants, and fears, upon.
