I figured I would post a few of them even though most are purely cosmetic.
1. The ability to customize the coloring of all the ancillary pools including the epics (Possibly not patron powers because you are pretty much mimicking a set character's powers.. though it would be nice) Honestly I was a little surprised that you could not when they first allowed power customization. Very few characters match things like hasten, also the ability to minimal FX hasten, and a lot of the other pool powers would be nice too... like no fire trail on SS.
2. Customizable granite armor, and Or the ability to minimal FX it and other all other armor sets.
3. For all the interface debuffs to be color customizable. (Lets face it having a character that does not use yellowish attacks randomly give the mobs a yellow/orange glow is just odd)
4. More alternate animations to certain sets, the first that comes to mind is stone melee, I'd LOVE to have an all punching version of it and on the flip side an all mallet version, since some characters don't really fit a mallet or sometimes the punching attacks. Same thing could be said with fire melee or even ice.
5. A two handed heavy melee weapon set, and I don't mean another clone of Broad Sword, Katana or Mace. I am talking a giant claymore type of weapon. Preferably with many sweeping cone attacks or slightly longer reach head splitter type attacks. Even something like a war staff or spear type weapon would be awesome... scythes also come to mind. Of course you would not be able to combo shields with these.
6. Another friend of mine has always been bothered by the lack of a "holy" blasting set. I know you can recolor energy for concept, but it would be interesting to see a holy light styled blasting set. Maybe it would do something like -dmg or even have a chance to stun with every attack. No terrible KB though. >_>
7. Last one on the list... rad melee and rad armor. Nuff said really.
That about sums up some of the ideas we had. Just figured I'd get the ideas out there.. it's doubtful any of this will actually be added but who knows. -
Ahh okay finally found the right place, did not think it would be in the "for fun" area of the forums as I consider general community feedback regardless what it is more important then that. So I figured a "general" powers discussion area would make sense.
Anyway my bad people, will resubmit this into the right place -

Anyway I am a fairly big noob on these forums so I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong area. -
Quote:Oh I had already noticed that lol, I wanted the recharge from some of the sets. Like Obliteration. However that makes me think I may be able to remove some of the LoTGs since the recharge bonus is in the proc. (Always slips my mind when I am looking over them)Also watch the set bonuses. You have 9 +9% accuracy IO bonuses. Only 5 of them are actually doing anything for you.
EDIT: I am a dummy lol, removed the fourth from all the LoTGs and threw in some more recov with various other sets. Thanks for reminding me I had to many acc bonuses or I don't think I would have rethought it this soon. -
Here's a real quick build I rolled up for her (Also my first corr build since like ever!), I set it for the spiritual alpha slot for now, more heal and recharge seems like a good idea. If endurance consumption is too high though I'll switch into cardiac.
This is just with S/L soft capped, also I only have a moderate amount of inf flying around so I can't afford most of the higher end purples.

, I think I'll try out a more balanced build next. Mainly due to some of the more delicious powers other masteries hold like the dark mastery self rez/soul drain.
-
I just rolled up my first corruptor, who ended up being a fire/dark so far it has been extremely badass I must say. But my question is which sets should you aim for on a fire/dark?
Is it worth it to try soft capping s/l or ranged or better to just go full out recharge/recov/max HP?
EDIT: As an added note are most procs worth slotting in RoF? -
Yeah I have plenty of tanks/brutes at this point in time lol, now I just want to hurt things.
Thanks a ton for the help you two -
Hmmm so solo they are pretty much the same DPS wise?
Chances are I'll go with scrapper, but still considering lol. -
I just rolled a DM/Shield scrapper but then it occurred to me you can get the same combo on brutes. (Tanks too but I want DPS lol)
I am guessing a scrapper would do overall higher DPS vs hard targets with AAO saturated?
Or would fury throw that off? (Specially cause brutes can get gloom)
Scrappers would likely be more sustainable though with body mastery (Conserve Power)
Keep in mind I am just guessing at this point I am by no means a pro, any help would be greatly appreciated -
Since I am still having problems deciding though (Both builds are great in different ways)
I'll do the logical thing and roll both starting with the DM/Shield scrapper.
Thanks a ton for all the input guys it's very appreciated. -
I have been considering building a new high end melee character with a medium budget. (About 3 billion inf and a few procs give or take) And have narrowed it down to either a DM/Shield Scrapper or SS/Wp brute. "Maybe" invuln, elec or fire armor... already have an elec/fire brute so not big on another fire.
I am wanting to be able to solo AVs and certain TFs. Itf plus possibly some of the lower ones. Pretty much just an all round badass toon.
Just curious about people's opinions and some pros/cons of the sets I am considering.
I figured I'd post this on the scrapper forum since a lot of the people who post here often seem to know their stuff about melee toons. -
Heya all I just came back to the game and am having a tough time deciding between the Kat/WP, Kat/Regen or Kat/Invuln. (I have considered DM/Shield as well with the inherent fitness and early siphon life)
I don't have a lot of money to put into them since me and a friend are starting on a new server. But I am willing to work towards IOs.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance! -
Quote:Well there's already a furry body and leg patterns why need more? Also about 5 furry heads with ONE lizard head. Also what if you want a non humanoid insect head with mandibles? Or a snake head? There's already a Reptile head in-game as well as a reptilian (and feline) face and tail option (if I'm not mistaken, there's also reptilian chest and bottom options). There are insect eyes, antennae and wings available in addition to an Insectoid Armor set.
Quote:Maybe a future pack can be dragons and lizards. One thing at a time, though. I think starting where they did was a good foundation. They can build up from there.
Anyway,
It makes me laugh when people try to defend the game against my own personal opinion. lol
I was just hoping to see some more variety, the cow and eagle head are awesome its much different then what we already have... wait no feathered costume patterns? Last time I check birds don't have fur. Also they have completely left out even basic aquatic parts (Webbed feet, fish scales, shark skin/heads etc.) -
No Reptile, Aquatic or Insect based parts? Half finished run animation? Color me unimpressed.
-
I gotta say that build looks quite good, I think I'll tinker around with both of them and see what I come up with.
I may have focused on recov and max hp a little more then I needed too, considering with that much recharge DP will be up much more then its down (perma with hasten on)
Thanks a ton StratoNexus any help is very appreciated =) -
Heya all its been years since I've posted anything on the forums lol.
Just wanting to get a few ideas on how to build a Kin/invuln considering I am a total noob at building both sets, preferably with little to no purples or pvp recipes (I'm not made of money lol)
I get the feeling I need more recharge, also not worried about a travel power I can pick one up in i19 (Plus Ninja Run ftw!), but anyway here it is
