  1. Works great against PPs though - sapping them just before the try to hit their MoG makes them much easier to deal with.
    In PVP one on one it can work but kin/elec is so much better for sapping. If you can drain their end totally you can keep it down and should also have hit them with enough siphon power that they can barely damage you and be so slowed they can't escape - wouldn't like to try it against a regen though and electric brutes will laugh at your attempts. Against multiple opponents you can't hope to sap them all fast enough to survive though.

    get everyone into the zone on Sunday in their laggiest costumes, nova form and high lag powers and wait for hami to pull his disappearing act before changing back to the normal cossies for Mondays raid.

I'd have to say if you're looking for high damage stone is not the way to go - the -recharge from both rooted and granite will cripple your sustainable damage - unless you can be sure of teaming with a kin all the time in which case your tanking abilities improve vastly as does the fun level for the whole team - have you ever seen a tank running rooted and granite charging around at speed cap from 3 kins spamming SB on him.
    OTOH I have sometimes accidently turned rooted off when I forgot I was speed boosted and tried to turn it on. (granite at least is a bit more noticible)
  5. Another option would be to hava a backup hami tank team situated out of aggro range to the main one - something like hold team 12 o clock, hami tank 4 o clock and backup 8 o clock - would mean that they could take over very quickly if the main one gets aggro or d/cs.
    However the perimeter guard is definitely a very good idea - gives the other ATs something to do as well.
    I believe thers more cases of it happening on the US servers and they tend to use both techniques (as well as the brute force high debt way)

    and if you run into someone who has managed to stack domination - expect to be standing very still very fast.
  7. Has anyone else noticed them appearing on mishes with no Kheldians on the team. Running my defender through some of the hollows mishes the other day we had 5 void bosses and 3 quantum Calibans as well as a couple of void seekers without a WS or PB having been anywhere near the team far less on it. Thats 8 bosses - I've never seen a quantum or void boss on my PB.

    I can certainly notice the difference with 2 controllers in the mez resistance - yes I still get mezzed but usually just momentarily - you have to remember its effect is ranged.
    And its fun using dwarf form to taunt and then switching back to human form for the damage resistance.
    The rest of the team was 3 blasters, 1 controller and 2 scrappers so was probably at res cap.
  9. Of course, the only for using the rad aura is to hide the fear one. What do you mean no-ones got terrify there's at least two I count with it as an inherrant power.

    From my experiences with my dark/dark corrupter I would say that dark on its own doesn't help a great deal with regen - you get hit a lot less and the AV/Hero can be held about 50% of the time (stopping active recovery powers), however when teamed with either a rad or a kin as well the AV drops much faster with far less damage incoming, indead Dark corrupter/ Kinetic and a poison MM combo was one of the fastest teams I have been on to take them down - now obviously poison MM is not available to help defenders (unless your doing Snaptooth) but traps should go some way towards this.
    The impression I get is the debuffs from dark stack and Kin is very good at enabling this to happen, however rad debuffs seem to replace existing ones rather than stack with them.
    In general I feel that if you only have a single defender/corrupter available then rad is superior but when more are available a combo including a kin seems to work better (this may be as much to do with the increased damage and higher attack rate beating the regen)

    It would however be nice to see a full comparison of the effect on regen from all the different powersets with a - regen capability and not just rad/kin/dark so certainly include poison/traps/psi and I'm sure there are others, also how do they compare between ATs with the same powerset.
  11. Had a read through the US threads and there are a few points that come up

    PA Aggro will be pulled off of them from proximity of other threats so they will need to be used to take aggro on the side away from the mito clearing teams, they also need to remain within control range of the Ill controller or they stop moving.

    Mito Hold Mag this has increased to the extent it can now overcome tank/scrapper mez protection - dispersion bubbles seem to help here and means empaths can concentrate on healing rather than clear mind

    General Mito Aggro mitos will attack each toon which aggros it until they drop in the order they give aggro. I haven't seen any comments on taunt on them but I can see this becoming a necessity - just need to make sure any taunting only hits a single mito and definitely not hami - hmm what mag tp foe would be needed to pull one out of the jelly.
    This also means that the mitos must be pulled away from one side of hami so the hami tank doesn't accidently taunt them, otherwise multiple mito aggro on the tank means dead tank

    Hami Held as hami can continue attacking after being held it is difficult to tell when this occurs - the hold not the attack. The best suggestion appears to be having someone outside the jelly reporting on visual indications - stone, ice, tesla but obviously won't catch mind or dark

    Oh and expect a lot more debt

    and I was thinking in a solo mish void next to named ruin mage was bad or in the middle of a DE mob with multiple eminators.

    Does anyone actually find the dwarves and novas (either light or dark a threat).

    OK my experience of dark/dark comes from my corrupter but dark servant I find almost never uses fear ( I think I've only seen it once) and rarely seems to heal but uses petrifying gaze so much I usually dont bother firing it off myself and also frequently uses its tentacles so hold durations and to hit debuffs would probably be more important.
    Shadow Fall - I'm not convinced about it being worth it for the end cost but then again I am almost certainly not optimal in my slotting of it - a second end red in there would no doubt help a lot - I do run assault and tactics both with a single end red as well but tend to be more aggressive than most defenders would be so can go through my end quickly especially if I am firing off moonbeam in melee range against a target whose acc is floored with my DN - most mobs in PVE this doesn't matter with - the exceptions being longbow bosses and regen scrappers in PVP where I need to fire off several snipes - the result being a long drawn out fight with both sides having next to no end. Against carnies I run Shadow fall for the psi res. 2 acc debuff in my darkest night seems to floor the acc of most mobs (or players in Sirens or Warburg) but that may be when stacked with TT - I am thinking of adding an acc debuff to my attacks as well once I7 comes out though and may well ad the third one to DN at that point as well.

    Good question. I guess the only way to know is to test it, since I thought that the buff would transfer if you fired it when the pet was out rather than firing the pet after you've fired off Vanguard.

    I'd suggest if we want to transfer them we stagger the transfer in case we have 2/3 of the holding group loosing target together and have hami break free
    I don't think theres a great number of singularities out so maybe have 1 person coordinate it - would require everyone with one to let whoever it is know.
    Of course if the buff transfers thats not an issue.
  15. Have found my Mind/Psi solos well on Vicious, did play for a couple of weeks on invincible but that caused problems in teams - was slow solo but certainly doable at arond lvl 20.
    When I first picked up mind probe I found I was actually outdamaging the brute in the team without domination up, want to see what the effect of drain psyche is with the Ghost of Scrapyard mobs though and confuse helps to weaken mobs.
    Still some bosses that cause problems though where they can 3 shot me and rarely miss and EBs need a lot of care but doable.
    Biggest advantage is probably the speed domination builds up - usually just about when my end is almost out so nice timing

    Can't say about defenders but its great watching an opponent taking his time putting up his PFF before you fire straight through it as if it wasn't there. Haven't taken my Mind/Psi dom on the US servers into PVP yet but on Defiant 2 Mind Controllers vs FF MM and a couple of stalkers was fun - not sure who was most surprised the stalkers lying held at our feet or the MM thinking he was safe behind his PFF
  17. Last time I had a crystal solo it was ridiculously easy - so much so I sat there in nova form farming it until I got no 1 nictus nemesis position for the day. It was only spawning singles so they never lasted long enough to fire of any attack.

    I don't recall the everyone run in and brawl part - actually the holding group shouldn't need to - as long as there holds do damage.
    That and we have used dark servants before but not in this

  23. Sorry no badge for this in CoV

    Did this mish for about the 3rd or 4th time with Doc over on Pinnacle last night - I think we dropped him by accident as we got the mission complete message with 3 rituals to go - he had spawned after we did the 4th one.
    Even when we deliberately targetted him in previous times there was still no badge.

Embalmed are to be found in Cap - about 5 spawn spots, only 2 spawns for Damned in PO both near the docks unfortunately - so this takes forever, hundreds of Skulls in Mercy and some also in PO for Kill Skuls badge - unfortunately no Bone Daddies though so you will need the mishes for bonecrusher
