Depends on your Primary/Secondary. Some sets are more equal than others in this regard (Necromancy has Soul Extraction for an extra pet, and Dark Miasma has Dark Servant) and many Ninja, Mercs, Thugs, and Robotics players would love a seventh/eighth pet.
For me, the Mastermind selection is rather disspiriting.
Stalkers get a ranged snipe attack.
