Noob Kinetics Questions
Siphon power does indeed stack.
1. Transference (available at 26 for Defenders) cannot take heal enh. I assume you are referring to Transfusion, the heal available from lvl 1, which also drains a small ammount of endurance and debuffs the target's regen rate. To be honest, slots are at a premium for this power and I would only put Acc, Heal and Recharge in here.
2. Siphon Power's damage buff can be stacked no more than 3 times from a single Defender. Each Stacked Siphon will provide the same damage buff (20-something % I think)
End Mod is a difficult control, unless you're emptying the enemies End Bar its basically useless. Also you'll need the heals, not for yourself but for Tanks and Scrappers. The End Drain was useful for me pre-26 as I was Elec, Transfusion (I always mix them up too) made that tiny bit of difference letting me sap a mob completely but even then I never bothered slotting it with End Mod. 2 accuracy, 3 heal, 1 recharge is my preferred slotting.
The Siphon Power Damage Bonus is done via a hidden pet. So it should certainly stack with repeated castings. The Icon is bugged in some way though, I think its counted as an inherent power. So if you have "Hide Inherent Power Icons" set in Options the buff icons will be hidden. 25% a pop according to NoFuture for the Damage Buffs. Thats 25% of your base damage I think?
Sorry Transfusion. The idea was that if I have a defender for PvP (my Kin/PSI) I would slot Transfusion and use it offensively for End Drain.
If for example I'm fighting toggle heavy opponents like Brutes might this be enough to knock off a couple of their toggles?
If I get in a scenario where I can use it to heal me, I am probably only seconds away from dying anyway. I would also get the benefit of the inherent heal regardless of the slotting.

When you hit 26 you'll get Transference anyway and that destroys Endurance (55% for mobs, 20.8 End for players)
So unless you're thinking of the Defiant League just announced you should have access to a much horribler End Drain there. Pre SOs I'm not sure the EndMods would be much use? The End Drain against a Mob is 12% (1/8th of their bar)
Against a Player its apparently just -4.163 Endurance to Target if (target = player). Which graphically is 1/3 of the blueness bar sapped compared to the Mob you've just hit. Most players have 100 End. For reference Transfusion costs 7.8 End to fire off.

if your wanting to drop toggles use repel
I was planning to get that as well - its a long wait until TK Blast....

Toggledropping got nerfed badly. Only reliable ways of doing it now is mezzes.

I was planning on getting Repel anyway as a way of staying out of prolonged periods of melee.
Kinetics likes melee though, but for PvP Repel might be worthwhile.
Doesn't the knockback effect surpress for 10 seconds once its hit someone in PvP? So they get knocked back and then have 10 seconds to get up and smack you one unaffected.

Brave, brave Sir Robin.
I would not worry about endurance draining for PvE unless you are /elec secondary. Even if you fully drain something with transference, it will still happily kill you with the tiny sliver of endurance it regens almost immediately after. Without a -recovery debuff the end drain is all but useless for anything but toggle dropping scary bosses.
The recovery debuff on short circuit lasts 10 seconds on +0s, which gets less and less as mobs get higher to you. Anything +4 an above and you're not even going to stop them regenning with 2 recharge SOs in SC and 2 siphon speed. Even +2s and +3s are touch and go unless your team is moving swiftly through the mission and you can keep two siphon speeds on yourself.
I find short circuit a real pain in the backside because you become a slave to it every few seconds, usually whilst people are whining at you to speedboost them.
Works great against PPs though - sapping them just before the try to hit their MoG makes them much easier to deal with.
In PVP one on one it can work but kin/elec is so much better for sapping. If you can drain their end totally you can keep it down and should also have hit them with enough siphon power that they can barely damage you and be so slowed they can't escape - wouldn't like to try it against a regen though and electric brutes will laugh at your attempts. Against multiple opponents you can't hope to sap them all fast enough to survive though.

i LOVE repel, whats not herded, you can knock about into a corner (bit like football) somewhere whilst supporting the the team simultaneously. In pvp it has a great chance (despite toggle nerfs) imo to detoggle and it will detoggle anyone i believe.

Hello All,
1. Does anyone slot Transference for End Mod instead of heals? I have noticed a decent end drain effect with it unslotted and wondered if this was viable.
2. Siphon Power. It might just be me but I haven't noticed any benefit from the damage increase when it is stacked. The first application gives a boost but then apparently nothing. Is this working as intended, bugged or a mistake on my part?
TY.
