one way I've seen done -since you can only do (1 billion -1) in a single trade- is something like (for a 2.5 billion inf item) 750K, 1 billion-for-item, 750K.

I tend to send the inf up front and have only had a problem once out of dozens of transactions.

It's always gone pretty quickly whenever i've been on a scrapyard team, never had him despawn... but it has probably been a year since I took him on. I recommend envenomed daggers in case there iisn't a rad/dark/kin with you.

Upper limit is 250M (matching 50M ) as mentioned earlier in thread. You can get it for more than one base. That is what I rounded up donors for.

I have matched with personal funds, 1:1, at various times, but that is entirely at my discretion. I did match 2 billion at least once that I can remember (the Slaxcave) and probably more than that

Let's say you start on a fresh character and devote eight days to getting H-merits:
three from tips + 1 from converting the first tip
seven from running TFs and converting
(nine for mortal men doomed to die... ooops...)
Four for the first run through the SSA
Three for the second run through the SSA, a week later

That's 17 in 8 days, and you can get 14 in the next 8 days if I did the math right. Really depends on how you define it, and that's a lot of grinding no matter what.

Still got those two 2.2 billion Glad 50's for sale...

My guess is they either write this window "in case we use it someday" or they implemented it, figured out it sucks, and pulled the functionality.

More generally: What you have to realize about this game vs. other games is that buffs and debuffs are HUGE.

Your Dark/Dark Corr was described as "A little control, a little healing, a little dps one of those jack of all trades master of none things. "

You left out the part where your ToHit debuffs make +2 enemies miss 4 out of 5 times. Or more. The math gets ugly fast, but if you look at your Debuffs it will say, for instance, under Fearsome Stare "ToHit -15% for 20s"
1) With slotting (three SO's or the equivalent) that's -21% .
2) That stacks with all your Defense-giving powers, your Darkest Night debuff, and all your attacks that also have ToHit debuffs.
3) That's out of 50% .

So if you debuff a particular critter by 42%, and they normally hit 60% of the time, 42/50 of those hits will become misses and only 8/50 will actually land. So 8/50 * 60% = 9.6% . It will hit people less than 10% of the time.

... so really, you're DPS/Control/Support/Tank. And, as long as your End bar holds out, you are master of ALL of them.

This is a game where Defenders can tank, Tanks can do good DPS, Controllers can single-handedly beat up Giant Monsters... it may not have been DESIGNED that way in 2003 but it is a happy accident of superpowered insanity.

There's the Halloween "Would you like a Rare Recipe, your level, on the spot?" mission going on. So if you're seing this VERY recently, that's the explanation. But as for the rest: Very cool, if true.

(I love that mission for its effect on the midlevel game.)

Kron: Not slapped, but possibly... encouraged to market. If you just want to flip things, and you don't want to work at it more than once a week or so, you can [over the course of most weeks, in my experience] buy Crushing Impacts, Doctored Wounds or Thunderstrikes for a million (level 50 crafted), list them for a shade over 3 million, and usually sell them for around 5 million. Go by Wents once or twice a week, see what you've bought and sold, flip the sold around by putting down bids and the bought by putting it up for sale. It may not work for a couple weeks, now that I mentioned it: but it probably will.

As for making Prestige: Tell me what you're willing to spend and I will match it 5 to 1. Got 10 million? I'll give you 50. Got 5 million? I'll give you 25. Got 1 million? I will give you 25, because that's as low as I go. I just decided. I'm not on much these days so it will probably be global email.
