It was so much fun last year I thought maybe we could gather round the bonfire again this year.

We're about 80 billion out of first place, if my math is right. I'm willing to kick in half.

An amusing idea - I'm all for the 88's annual Solstice gathering.

I don't particularly care whether we re-take first place again or not, but I'm
sure Granny would willingly contribute a billion or two for eggnog and some additional
heat in the base...

OK , somehow I ...lost... about 10 billion. Either my math is way off, or I burnt inf SO FAST that the system couldn't keep up.

... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Anyway, we're at 739 million, respectable second place, and it cost me a little more than I expected.

And thanks to Granny Warbucks, we're BACK into #2. which now takes 749 million+ inf.

Hero Dawn has "#2 in the top 100" in their actual SG message, and apparently they're taking that seriously.

I got a couple billion left, we'll see how long this race goes.

Been playing Torchlight and spending more time in the real world with the kids. Forgot about this. I only have 1-2B to contribute, but I'll try to get online in the very near future and send munkiez to my Crazy 88 alt to convert.

The thing I truly love about this is that it's eminently clear that these others are only keeping up by burning inf too.

Speaking of burning, I was explaining the concept of inf burning to a Liberty player during November's Player Summit. Somehow, he's convinced that it causes inflation. o.O
I tried to explain to him that it should cause the opposite effect since it takes money out of the game, but he's sticking to his guns.
Anyway, more power to the 88s! I'll be watching the 'flame war' from a distance...
