If leveling is your main concern, fury will help with that, as the damage buff helps you knock things out faster. once you're in your mid teens to twenties, it honestly wont matter a whole lot. Honestly, the only real difference between the two at the lower levels is the differencce in HP. Once you get higher, and are able to invest in some better enhancements and hit softcap def (45%) that is plenty tanky enough. And that honestly isn't very hard to do at all.
Also, anything the poster above me says is accurate. No matter what she's talking about. Seriously. -
With accolades and DP, you are pretty close to brute HP cap. As far as TW goes, I know nothing about it. Actually planning to build my first one soon. My main is a Fm/Inv brute though, and is very, very hard to kill. I went rebirth for the destiny, and with the new hybrid slot, I don't foresee him dying again. Ever.

Ok, I'll have a look.
1st off, what are your goals? Do you have a budget?
I can tell before opening it that you have the Brutes Fury split wrong. If you split it 3/3, it will give you 10% S/L def.
I'll check it out once my brains is awake.
Ok, took a minute ar two and changed some things around.
1. It looked like you were building for f/c def. There is very little f/c damage in the game. Most attacks that deal f/c have a smashing component, so smashing def will take care of them.
2. Got you to s/l def, or close enough and bumped up your e/n a bit.
3. Improved your end recovery.
4. Improved your recharge time

First, allow me to preface my questions with a decleration of partial insanity and stupidity based upon lack of sleep. Now that we have that out of the way, here goes!!
BANZAI!!!
GEROMINO!!!
So, most of the time, I build for survivability in my toons. I have never had one with a damage toggle. I like the idea of the extra damage, just were always a little squishy for my taste.
But now with IO's, ATO's, and incarnate powers, I may be able to deal with it.
My current main is a Fm/Inv brute. Love it. Absolutely freaking love it.
Now, to the point of this post. If you had to pick, which damage aura toon would you make? If you could, please list pros and cons. Also, if not to much of a bother, which primary would provide a good mix of st damage along with AoE. -
-
-
-
I have plans for a melee toon to solo GM's without using pets, temps, or insps. Will take awhile though. I'm broke from kitting out my last melee toon.
-
Ok, so I've made it to 45, andusing just generic IO's, this toon is a beast. A BEAST I SAY!!!!!!
But here comes the fun part. Incarnates! I am thinking musculature for alpha, assault for hybrid, and rebirth for destiny.
Has anyone else grabbed assualt and musculature? How do you like it? -
-
Are we returning to the days of a regen tanking Hami? I'd honestly be interested in seeing one tank Lord Recluse.
-
Plus, in most cases, the melee toons who do solo aVs do it with no temps, or insps.
I think it was Shred Monkey that soloed an AV while surrounded by other AVs. No temps or insps. -
Claws/sr scrapper here. Back before Inventions, I had soloe'd Neuron, Antimatter, Shadow Hunter, and a cpl others.
At one point my Dm/Wp brute was soloing the redside AV's/Heroes that are in the 20s. Of course, this was post inventions, but still. -
-
Well, according to the synopsis, there will be a trainee. Not sure of age range though.
On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroesa washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankinds last hope against the mounting apocalypse. -
Well, at one point, he went Nova on us. Twice actually. I can't remember what it was exactly. I do know that as an HP capped brute witth DP up, rebirth going, and whatever league buffs were going, I went from full, to dead.
-
I would be fine using LBE. And I think that with the Assault hybrid and the right interface, it should be ok. I'm hoping anyway.
-
So, I am thinking of dusting my SS/Inv brute off and finishing up his incarnate slots. My one complaint I ever had about him was that it seemed st damage was lacking. So I come here. What is the ideal attack chain for SS.
P.S. Character concept forbids use of Patron pools. He is a hero all the way. -
While I was doing the Mag Trial, it occured to me that Nega Pendragon had some abilities that are suspiciously like what was listed here. Anyone know if he is indeed Rad armor?
-
Got stuck on a page that I believe Starflier linked us to, and saw this.

Looks pretty cool, and honestly, after seeing Pans Labrynth, I'll watch whatever Guillermo tells me to watch. -
I'll be skipping this. Not interested in kiddy teen titans. The short they had on this morning during Young Justice wasn't even slightly funny. Now, if they made it like the old show, that I would watch.
Or maybe a new Justice League. -
Quote:I'm not sure about other players, but it doesn't take me getting all the way to 50 to realize that I don't like the way an AT plays.
Do you actually have that or is it just wishful thinking on your part ? Do you have any idea why they are the most abandoned AT or is it just more wishful thinking ? For all you know its nothing more than the fact that description of the AT doesn't do an adequate job letting people know what they will be playing. -
A problem like a blaster? I turn my mez protection off and get real close to them at the doors the prisoners ecsape from, get confused, and "accidently" kill them, lol.
In all seriousness though, it seems like a power creep.
If "x" AT can do this, and "y" at can do this, then so should AT's "a" "c" "k" and "r".
Then you have to buff the enemies because theres no challenge. But then the game is too hard now, so 6 powersets need a buff.
At this rate, Frieza is going to enter his final form and we're going to need everyone to lend there power so I can make a spiritbomb big enough to kill him/her!!!! -
It is a click/toggle. You toggle it on, it is up for 2 minutes, then it detoggles and takes 2 minutes to recharge.
-
^^ This. People don't really use hand clap, do they?
On the topic of Incarnate Slots:
Anybody looked at the numbers on melee if you are saturated? You can move between IH, Rebirth, and Melee Hybrid, and always have 1000% regen. Are we seeing a return to the old days?
