Attack chain for SS

So, I am thinking of dusting my SS/Inv brute off and finishing up his incarnate slots. My one complaint I ever had about him was that it seemed st damage was lacking. So I come here. What is the ideal attack chain for SS.

P.S. Character concept forbids use of Patron pools. He is a hero all the way.

Without gloom it will not be terribly good. I would say you would want to find a epic hero pool St attack for a filler...maybe laser beam eyes. But my SS/Regens chain is kob/hm/gloom/hm repeat. Maybe some use of punch or jab or fs would fill but I would bet there are better options

Currently Playing:
Rage King - SS/Regen Brute (50+3)
Soulfire Darkness - Dark/Fire Tank (50+2)
Deaths Final Embrace - Kat/Dark Brute (50+3)
ULTIMATE REGEN GUIDE I22

I would be fine using LBE. And I think that with the Assault hybrid and the right interface, it should be ok. I'm hoping anyway.

I run Haymaker-Jab-Punch-Jab repeat...with KoB used everytime it's up...and I would never complain about my ST damage.

I have read that adding Gloom gives you the best attack chain with SS...but I would never say it's not good without Gloom.

I run Jab-Boxing-Haymaker-KOB.. I never seem to have an issue with my chain- the only time my damage suffers is when Rage crashes naturally. And I dipped into the Precense Pool for that.... "Oh yeah? If I can't attack for a few seconds...NEITHER CAN YOU!! FEAR!!!"

If you have them, Veteran Attacks (I prefer Sands of Mu and Black Wand) can be used for full damage during the Rage crash. They are not effected by damage buffs/debuffs. Judgement works during crashes as well...

You know, I honestly never thought of this.

Hmmm....

O_o? How are you dusting off a toon that's barely a year old?

Because I stopped playing him about a week after the Alpha slot came out, and have gotten I think, 3 toons to 50 since then.

I have SS/WP, but it's still SS. IN case it matters, here's Thing of Bigness' attack chain, and it's quite effective so far...

Usually, find the baddest enemy in teh group, and start pounding on 'em thusly:

Prelims: Footstomp, Knockout, Haymaker. Gives you a small window of nothin' happening for a second, as they're pickin' themselves up off the floor.

Then the chain: Punch, Jab, Boxing*, Jab, Punch, Jab, Haymaker, Jab, Boxing, Jab, Punch, Jab, Haymaker, Jab, Knockout, Jab, Footstomp, Jab.... Whatever the most powerful hit is, or the one that knocks them down next, that's the next one, with Jab in between to keep the chain alive.

Etc. Ad nauseum. Don't stop, just keep mashing until the mob is down. If one is defeated, double hit the next power to make sure it fires off in the chain on the next available bad guy.

And I didn't take a pool. Don't need it.

/If built right, end isn't much of an issue, but blue pills are always a good idea, of course. Stupid sappers...
//* - You DID take Boxing, right? If not... well... skippable, but I like havin' it.
