    Victory IS down.

So....did everyone pull their toons of Victory because of this? Seems like a ghost town, while the other servers either have two or three dots.

He's just in it as himself for a moment giving a snippit of a TV interview about John Malkovitch's sudden turn to puppetry saying that he has always wanted to do puppetry as well.

    Co-Op Oro Zone

I'll also add to make all of Paragon and the Rogue Islands accessible from that Oro zone.

  5. I always go "Natural" because I know what all the enhancements are and don't want to learn a new set of DO's, and SOs. Other than that, I don't give it any thought at all other than having to use a specific vendor for the Natural enhancements.
  6. I don't see the need for all the TF/SFs to be equivalent. There aren't as many villian SFs so I can see them repeating semi-often, but I don't see the need for the blueside to repeat at all for a long time. If anything, I say just make the co-op ones pop up semi-regularly, but the normal TFs and SFs shouldn't have to be bound by the other side.

Yes. They are very nice in Preatoria. I did some extensive testing of the Ultra Mode graphics while looking at a female NPC in a low-cut top in Preatoria. Now if only I could encounter Golden Girl while in game....

I'll have to admit that they have fixed many of my main gripes about CoH: the train system goes to all places, no more blue and yellow lines. the ferries take you to almost all CoV zones. The initial contacts and missions have been moved closer so you aren't always crossing huge, danger filled zones with your lowbee. They have included an e-mail system and made "inf" work for everyone. All in all, a lot of good stuff.

    1. I'd make all zones accessible to all alignments, but have a new "bounty" system that allows for some PvP in the normal zones if someone crosses over into hostile territory. So, say I take my villian into Paragon City, an arrest warrent could be broadcast by the system and heroes and vigilantes could try to take me out, and vis versa. That may be a pain, but it could be fun.

    2. I'll argue that the costume creator needs to be revamped. There are console video games that I played years ago that put our costume creator to shame. I could do whatever I wanted with my character's appearances 10 years ago in some of my PS2 games, and find myself limited in what I can do here in 2011.

    3. Undo the changes made to the PvP system awhile back. I used to PvP, I wasn't great at it, but I held my own at times and had fun doing it; I tried it a couple of times with the new system when it first changed and I never went back.
  8. OP: I really like your ideas. I'm all for new ATs and you have put a lot of thought into those. I've always wanted a healing warrior monk type of character.
  9. The comic was awesome as individual issues that were part of a whole; it just didn't translate well into a continuous story like a a movie. Also, several of the key scenes that worked great in the comic were changed up a bit and it didn't make it work. Like the scene where the Ultra-Sphinx asks Superman "What happens when the immovable object meets an unstoppable force?" In the comic he just smiles and answers "they surrender" and later we get a closeup of the advertisement for a car that has that question on it. In the movie, he seems distressed and we see the process of him recalling the advertisement. That was just one example that comes to mind. Also, I think that the comic, and movie, take for granted a familiarity with the Superman/Lois Lane relationship prior to Crisis of Infinite Earths and DC's total revamp in the 80's. It works for comics fans, but people that just watch this movie and don't appreciate the twist on it; something is just lost. I watched most of this with my son and was kind of seeing it through his eyes. I'm sure it's cool for him to watch Superman doing super stuff, but it's probably not as enjoyable for him as it was for me to read the comic series. I was really excited about this and am a bit disappointed.
  10. I think I'll see this in the theater; and that's very high praise for the trailers. I VERY rarely see movies in the theater.
  11. Thanks a lot for all the responses. At the very least, I know what IOs to slot, and what procs to get if I decide to spend some more money on those toons.

    YMMV.
Nice advice. Thanks. If you were just going with the common IOs or SO's, how would you slot it?

They showed enough skin to make this claim and totally keep your "man" status. I've watched more than a few reruns of the show.
  14. How do you guys slot damage auras like Lightning Field, Blazing Aura, and Death Shroud?

I've just started a fire brute and an electric tank and am wondering how to properly slot Blazing Aura and Lightning Field.
  15. I must admit that I hate teaming with demons as well. They are loud and too big. They are constantly howling and getting in the way. And that's not to mention the lag that they sometimes cause. It's not such a big deal now, since we are a time away from the initial release of Demon Summoning as a Mastermind set, but for awhile I just had to say "no" to teaming with one. Enough time as passed that I might play with mine who I stopped playing at lvl 12. The guy shouldn't have been a jerk about it though. I just thought my unhappy thoughts and tried not to diminish those Demon Mastermind's enjoyment.

    Paul: The Movie

Huge fan of Shaun of the Dead here. I look forward to these guys in any movies. Good stuff. Can't wait to see it.
  17. I'm amending my Triple HHH post and saying that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, should have been Conan.....with a wig I guess. Can you smellllll what the Scorpion King has cooking?

It seemed like that would be the case. And it seems like getting a Quickening made the winner more powerful. I always thought that Duncan should have superhuman strength or something after all the guys he killed.
  19. Way back when, I actually watched Highlander 2 in the movie theater. I sat through that, but wasn't impressed. I turned H5 off, it was so bad.

The first movie didn't make much sense and the rest of the films haven't either. The TV series, which I was a fan of, made little since bringing in the Watchers and explaining a little of what was going on, but after all the movies and the TV series I was left with the question: "Why?" I know a ******* explanation was given in H2, but I choose to ignore it as dumassness. I think that some cool stuff could be added and expanded upon with a reboot, and at least come out with an action/sci-fi film with lots of sword fighting. I've seen worse ideas...
  20. I'll second /TA. Lot's of debuffs, but you don't need to buff the team. My Archery/TA Corr is one of my favorites. Oil Slick arrow + Flame arrow!

We had a nice, quick run last night... think we were well under an hour. I forgot to check the time yet again to be sure, though. Heh. I do hate the hunt part of Numina, that's for sure. They could easily have come up with an interesting mission or two to bring these mobs together (or most of them), and that would have been far more fun to play through... and not victim to zone invasions, either.
Yeah. I was watching 127 hours with my wife and I totally fell asleep on the couch. Sorry. I'll try to show up some on Monday, but I can't make any promises. 7pm CST is a little early for me to be able to play. The little ones are still awake at 7pm and I'm usually trying to get some action from the wife after that.
  22. The best bio that I've read said: "I have magic pants."
  23. I'm interested. Maybe be on a bit later than 8:30pm. Maybe make it for a 2nd run or something. I still need the Notice for this week for my main.

    Forefinger: 50 (+1) Ninja/Dark Mastermind

Don't hold a spot for me though, my wife wants to rent a movie....I'll send a tell if I make it in time.
  24. I'll support just about any idea for more mastermind primaries. Especially one as good as this.
